Introduction

Hey, this is my first team that I'm posting here. Its a bulky balanced offensive team that combines a F/W/G core and a D/F/S core. All the pokemon work really well together as they check each other's counters.

The Team

Marowak-Alola @ Thick Club
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 248 HP / 124 Atk / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Bone
- Fire Punch
- Bonemerang
- Stealth Rock
A-Marowak is what holds this team together. It can handle strong electric types such as Magnezone and Tapu Koko, as well as being one of the only checks to Pheromosa. Its bulk allows it to be more splashable and my choice of fire punch over flare blitz helps with that.

venusaur-mega.gif

Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 232 HP / 180 SpA / 80 SpD / 16 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Synthesis
- Sludge Bomb
- Earthquake
Mega Venusaur's great typing and defensive bulk lets it chip away at teams while remaining relatively healthy. It poses a threat to almost all water and fairy types. I run earthquake to hit A-Marowak, A-Muk and Megagross.

rotom-w.gif

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Rotom-W is just such a solid pokemon. It rounds out my F/G/W core and is a pesky physical wall. Tapu Fini was a possible candidate for this spot but I find Rotom-W's ability to stall more useful. Pain split is the MVP of this set.

celesteela.gif

Celesteela @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Heavy Slam
- Flamethrower
Celesteela helps me handle Tapu Lele and Excadrill making it a crucial part of this team while also being a great defensive pokemon with its typing. Flamethrower allows me to fight back against opposing steel types.

tapulele.gif

Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
My team lacked an offensive threat and Lele filled this role perfectly. Psychic runs through everything that doesn't resist it and choice scarf bolsters its ability to revenge kill. I chose to run Focus Blast to have some coverage against normal types.

latios.gif

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Recover
- Defog
Lastly, I needed a defogger and another offensive threat which Latios fills out nicely. Latios also appreciates Tapu Lele's psychic terrain and completes my D/S/F core.

Conclusion

So, that's the team. I'm still somewhat of beginner, so your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I'm not completely happy with some of the move sets such as Lele's and Venusaurs'. After playing with it for a while it has been performing really well.

Isn't 132 speed on Wak enough? If you drop it from 136 to 132 points, you can put the extra 4 in Attack, and with Thick Club that gives it 500 attack, right?

you could mention that eq on venu is even necessary because of heatran and not only muks, metas and what else. heatran is quite a threat to your team.
(mstorm toxic epower taunt/rocks is hard to beat and especially annoying to face for your team)
your opponents will switch in heatran when venu is in 99% of the time. you sure have to play a bit aggressive to catch it upon the switchin but it is totally worth it to attack it in the long term.

also hp fire is somewhat a MUST on scarf lele. id rather miss out tbolt than hp fire.

those were only little improvements so its not really a rate but i wanted to post them anyways.
i really like your team otherwise and especially the synergy of the different mons. gj

One thing I would watch out for is Zard X cuz at +1 it can run though the 6 maybe you can make Lati scarf and run something else on Lele.
