[OVERVIEW]
Following Miraidon's ban, Arceus-Electric has become one of the most unique Pokemon in the tier. Unlike other Calm Mind sweepers like Arceus-Fairy and Lunala, Arceus-Electric immediately threatens the tier's premier special checks in Ho-Oh and Kyogre. This gives it a place as a strong Calm Mind sweeper on teams electing to drop Arceus-Fairy. Its coverage and Tera Types also allow Arceus-Electric to take on the tier's few Electric-resistant Pokemon, most notably Koraidon, Eternatus, and Landorus-T. Defensively, Arceus-Electric's immense bulk and resistances to Steel, Electric, and Flying let it serve as a decent check to Zacian-C, Ho-Oh, and the rare Arceus-Flying, while its immunity to paralysis gives its team more breathing room against Thunder Wave Kyogre. However, Arceus-Electric's typing does not offer much defensively beyond these traits. It takes neutral damage from a vast majority of the tier while bearing a Ground weakness, meaning it can struggle to set up safely on Pokemon that other Calm Mind sweepers do not, like Landorus-T and Groudon. In addition, Arceus-Electric's power has the propensity to let it down even with a boost, most notably failing to OHKO Koraidon with Ice Beam even at +1. This can force it to recover more often than other Calm Mind sweepers, like Arceus-Fairy and Lunala, hurting its ability to consistently sweep.

While Ice Beam is the preferred move, Dazzling Gleam can be used on teams without Spikes to immediately OHKO Koraidon, but has very little practical use otherwise. A Timid nature and 72 Speed EVs allow Arceus-Electric to outspeed Timid Lunala, while a Bold nature with 72 Speed EVs improves its ability to take attacks from Koraidon and Zacian-C while outspeeding Modest Lunala. The remaining EVs are poured into HP and Defense to give Arceus-Electric as much opportunity to set up as possible. Tera Poison is preferred to let Arceus-Electric set up on specially defensive Eternatus, an otherwise great check, as well as giving it an advantage in Calm Mind wars against Arceus-Fairy. Tera Fairy can be used to resist Koraidon's STABs and avoid being revenge killed by Kingambit's Sucker Punch. It must be noted, however, that this forfeits Arceus-Electric's ability to check Zacian-C.
