SV OU Bulky Dragons BO Anti-meta

Hi I hope you didn't miss me too much :psytear: I have a new anti-meta team to introduce to you!

My first intention was to create a bulky team that have answers against Ogerpon-W without being too passive. I found that the best constrain to Ogerpon-W's Water/Grass stab duo were the Dragon-types. That's how I came up with the idea of naming this team "Bulky Dragons".

Already it's important for me, but look at how much the team has aura, they all have good winning faces, there's just Alomomola who stand out like a sore thumb but at least he pivots!

New version with Duraludon! https://pokepast.es/e2fa7239ff365c29

Samurott-Hisui (F) @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 176 Atk / 84 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ceaseless Edge
- Swords Dance
- Aqua Cutter
- Aqua Jet

Unfortunately there are players who take a malicious pleasure in playing Garganacl and if we don't play Covert Cloak on our Samurott-H... well we cry. As I play the Cloak as an item, I appreciate having something to set-up myself with Swords Dance. Samurott-H brings a lot of utility to the team with his signature attack that allows you to put the Spikes on the field and also Aqua Jet which is the only Priority attack of the team and is important because we don't play a Choice Scarf for speed control. As a last attack I put Aqua Cutter who takes advantage of the Sharpness talent and makes sure I don't miss (it prevents me from missing a +2 Razor Shell basically). Tera Water on him to power-up an Aqua Jet/Aqua Cutter and take a crucial kill.

I play it with a bulky spread by maximizing its HPs to make it easier to set-up. 84 EVs in Spe allows it to outspeed Gliscor with 0 investment in speed. And the rest is put on Atk with a Rigid nature to hit hard.

Iron Treads @ Leftovers
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 64 SpD / 192 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin

Iron Treads is underrated because first he's really good against Raging Bolt, and second he's fast. With 192 speed, Iron Treads surpasses all Pokémon with 85 base speed like Samurott-H. We invest it max Atk to put pressure with Knock Off and EQ and we put the rest in Spd because its purpose is to come on the opponent's special attacks.

I think it combines well with Samurott-H because it completely blocks Zapdos, and this bird is really annoying without him to manage it.

It also brings a lot of utility with Knock Off to remove items, Rapid Spin to remove hazards and Stealth Rock to complement Spikes.
Lastly, Tera Ghost to prevent the opponent's Rapid Spin and Leftovers in item to look like his big brother Ting-Lu :psyglad:

Alomomola (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Scald
- Flip Turn
- Wish
- Protect

Well, it's not just the Leftovers on Iron treads that will be enough to regen over time, that's why we put Alomomola who will serve as a Wish Support for the team and a slow pivot with Flip Turn.

I found the idea of playing Alomomola interesting too because he struggles against Ogerpon-W and so he takes advantage of the two big dragons behind to help him stay relevant during the game.

Overall the set is classic, I like Rocky Helmet to bring cheap damage on top of it and the Tera Fly gives him immunity to Spikes and that's more or less all he needs.

Kyurem @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 64 HP / 252 Def / 192 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Freeze-Dry
- Earth Power
- Body Press

Well, I can't stand Kyurem or Ogerpon-W but I had to choose a side... (I pray that both of them get banned but don't forget Gliscor with them)

Otherwise yes you're not dreaming, it's a Kyurem Rocky Helmet that I agreed to integrate into the team. Its main role is to counter Ogerpon-W. It achieves this thanks to its spread of 64 HP and 252 Def with a Bold Nature to survive a Play Rough at +2 from an Ogerpon-W with a Jovial nature (yes, don't ask too much either).

I put the rest of the EVs in SpA so that he keeps an offensive presence and rather than Ice Beam I take advantage of his maximum investment in defense to play him with Body Press to punish mainly Blissey. But with Tera Fighting and Body Press, Kyurem becomes able to handle Kingambit.

If you don't like Kyurem you can check my new version of the team with Duraludon instead.

(Duraludon (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Light Metal
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 248 HP / 208 Def / 52 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Body Press
- Foul Play
- Draco Meteor/Thunder)
I go with this set to replace Kyurem and I put Ice Spinner on Treads instead of rocks.

Dragapult (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 224 HP / 60 Atk / 224 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Dragon Darts
- Thunder Wave
- U-turn

Then I called on Dragapult to have speed control and a quick pivot with U-Turn. With a Jolly nature and 224 in Spe he outspeeds the Zamazenta, in fact he surpasses everyone except Deoxys-Speed. By the way, Deoxys-Speed with the Life Orb is very annoying but our Dragapult ate well at Popeyes :psyglad: and can tank with 224 HP an attack from him and if you look closely at his set we can punish him with a T-Wave, after that I promise Deoxys-Speed will be useless.

The problem with T-wave is that we struggle against the Ground-types so I decided to play Will-O-Wisp as well. Then I had to make a choice and I decided not to play Hex :psysad:

Lastly, I wanted to add that I thought about playing it Air Balloon rather than boots, because I don't play a Pokémon immune to Ground attacks but I haven't tested it yet if it's better or not, so I just leave this idea for now.

In my other version with Duraludon I'm testing it with Hex + Air Balloon and it does the job.

Iron Crown @ Choice Specs
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Tachyon Cutter
- Psyshock
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast

The latest to join the team is Iron Crown who, along with the Choice Specs, will be our main source of damage. I like this Pokémon because with its Steel-type it's difficult to one-shot it and it overtakes Kyurem and can one-shot him.

The set is classic, and we often go Tera on him against the defensive teams to put even more pressure on them with Tachyon Cutter spam.
