This is the first team I've built myself and found decent results with. I'm currently floating around 1400 with it (I am dicks at this game as I am fairly new).
This 6 has served me pretty well so far, but its definitely weak to some very strong mons that I need to try to build around (namely Garg that I should probably fit a Covert Cloak in for).
(ALSO THIS IS MY FIRST SMOGON POST SO SORRY IF THE FORMATTING BLOWS D:)

UnfinishedBusiness (Slowking-Galar) (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Future Sight
- Sludge Bomb
- Slack Off
- Chilly Reception
Glowking is my premier special wall and slow pivot. This great defensive typing lets me get him in on basically any special attack in the game. He is great at coming in on Draco Meteors and getting slow, safe switches out to my other members with Chilly Reception. Speaking of which, has crazy synergy with Baxcalibur considering Slowking scares out most Fairy and Fighting types. Regenerator and Slack Off give this thing near infinite longevity and holds this team together like glue.
I have been thinking about dropping future Sight and maybe even Slack, as they haven't come up for me very often, but I'd like to know what you guys think.
Never Knows Best (Moltres) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 SpD
Bold Nature
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost
- U-turn
Moltres is great. I feel like I don't even have to explain how good Flame Body and Burn in general is when we have so many crazy physical threats running around. As you can see, it's mostly PhyDef with a good bit of SpDef mixed in as to not get bowled over by any old special attack. This lets Moltres come in on a lot of demanding mons like Dragonite, Kingambit, Roaring Moon, and Baxcalibur (at least for a potential Flame Body proc rather than going for Will-o). It even comes in on some prevalent special attackers like pseudo-checking common Enamorus sets ((252 SpA Choice Specs Enamorus Moonblast vs. 248 HP / 96 SpD Moltres: 123-144 (32.1 - 37.5%) -- 92% chance to 3HKO)), pivoting through Heatran, our resident bulky fairy Hatterene, and can handle a bunch of Iron Valiant variants. (I've also used it to punish Rapid Spin from Tusk, but thats a slippery slope bc knock off, obviously)
The Ancient (Great Tusk) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 224 Atk / 32 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
Tusk is Tusk, there isn't much to say on this matter. It is my main and only source of hazard setting and removal, and is usually only used as a Knock Off machine and more general Physical attack taker. This may be the mon that needs the most work at the moment. Maybe I should run it as a full hazard remover with AV or Leftovers for longevity, or maybe some sort of Covert Cloak + Utility to set up in front of and force a Tera out of a potentially game ending Garganacl. I'm honestly not sure where to go with him, and willing to switch him out for another kind of hazard removal.
Currents (Walking Wake) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Flamethrower
Sometimes, you just need an absolute cannon on your team. I picked this idea up after watching a few Blunder videos (shoutouts The Agency btw). Specs on this mon is just pure, unadulterated power. This thing slams anything and everything in its wake (no pun intended). Great for scaring other threats out and forcing progress too.
Trying to switch in a Fairy to ohko it?
252 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Hatterene: 255-301 (80.1 - 94.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Enamorus: 313-370 (108.3 - 128%) -- guaranteed OHKO
A specially bulky mon?
252 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Slowking-Galar: 178-210 (45.1 - 53.2%) -- 32.8% chance to 2HKO (?????)
252 SpA Choice Specs Walking Wake Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 84 SpD Amoonguss: 337-397 (78 - 91.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Yeah. good luck trying to switch into this thing's STABs. though, it's not actually that fast, so its hard to get in reliably 100% of the time, but we have Slowking for that :)
Type Lumina (Iron Valiant) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Shadow Ball
- Encore
- Calm Mind
Valiant needs no introduction, It just comes in mid/late game and cleans house, and along Booster Speed, Tera enables this thing like no other. This set has done me pretty well, but I do think a moveset switch-up is in order. I am not sure as to what set would fit on this. I've been considering a set with Taunt or Swords Dance, but as I am not an experienced builder, I have no clue where to go from here and would love suggestions. This is also another mon I am fairly willing to change out, as long as its replacement fills a similar role as a disruptive attacker.
Catharsis (Baxcalibur) (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Thermal Exchange
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Glaive Rush
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
Bax. Is. A. Demon. To be completely honest, half the payoff of running so much utility in Slowking and Moltres is to get her in to set up, as burn + the PhysDef boost from Hail lets Bax get tons of setup opportunities . I actually think Bax is at a great speed tier with Jolly, which is why I prefer SD over DD, as sometimes slower Glaive Rushes have won me games. As a relatively new player, Bax is who made me realize just how much STAB matters, especially on priority. Ice STAB goes so incredibly nuts, even without a boost, Ice Shard absolutely shreds mostly anything faster than Bax. And don't even get me started on +2
+2 252 Atk Baxcalibur Ice Shard vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Enamorus: 380-450 (131 - 155.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Baxcalibur Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragapult: 360-426 (113.5 - 134.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Baxcalibur Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Great Tusk: 224-266 (60.3 - 71.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 Atk Baxcalibur Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Sneasler: 213-252 (70.7 - 83.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Probably my favorite mon on the team :) !!!
Overall, my team likes to play fairly patient and is content to switch around with Boots looking for an opening. While I do not run into many in the 1400s, Dondozo and Garganacl kinda maul this team, especially the latter. I have some ways to force it out, or at least force a Tera, but usually it just walks all over me. Some of my other big threats are Screens (which may just be my lack of experience with the HO matchup), Scarfers (as my team is pretty slow and lacks other forms of Speed Control), Samurott (most variants can usually punch holes in my structure), last mon Kingambit (as a last mon, its able to muscle through most of Moltres's and Tusk's remaining bulk), as well as Amoonguss (as it's too bulky to 2hko with any given mon in at the time and is capable of shutting my sweeps down)
edit: also just realized bulky Rotom Wash kinda walls everything on my team
Again, this is my first post so its prob horrible to read but please bear with me I am looking forward to some advice and criticism, thanks for reading!!!
