Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic Noise
- Body Press
- Ice Spinner
Explanation: generally a good lead that beats 1v1s against pretty much every hazard setter with this set (Lando, gliscor, great tusk, glim, ting-Lu, etc) except samurot-h. Also used as an untouchable check for Kyurem ad Dragonite mainly (sometimes can smoke kingambit with tera fight and has some more good matchups I'm pretty sure)
Heatran (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Overheat
- Steel Beam
- Tera Blast
- Earth Power
Explanation: main way of breaking power, ideally switches on Corviknigt defogging and oh-kos something with specs overheat or punish u-turn with flame body. Rest of attacks for generally cover but not prone to use them (steel beam for garganacl wall, tera grass for water types and surprising ground attackers and earth power mainly for toxapex)
Brute Bonnet @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Close Combat
- Seed Bomb
- Synthesis
Explanation: bulky offensive mon that punishes ghost and dark teams (my team has 2 psychic types) and ground types. Sucker punch to help with priority as team is slow. Capable of switching Into Darkrai and tank pulse + coverage and revenge with close combat or switch into gambit and recover or oh-kos with cc (can run crunch and different tera but seed bomb + grass is there to help break dozo stall, still testing)
Slowking-Galar (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic Noise
- Sludge Bomb
- Hydro Pump
- Flamethrower
Explanation: general bulky Mon that hits really hard and can switch in multiple times with Regen. Lots of good matchups (moth, zama, fairy types...) and coverage to help vs garganacl, tera fire zama, ground moth and 2 hit-ko gold with flamethrower as it survives 2 hits back. Also pump does almost the same as ice beam while being more versatile and breaks walls with tera water
Primarina (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Torrent
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Flip Turn
- Moonblast
- Draining Kiss
- Surf
Explanation: general special wall that allows pivoting and hits hard back. Switches very comfortably into many threats including some physical ones like weavile, zama, samurot-h... Can 1v1 raging bolt with tera ground as is a big weakness for the team
Lokix (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Tinted Lens
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- First
Impression
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
Explanation: last mon to join the roster still testing but great results, allows good pivoting and scares people with first impression. Good general knock off user and double priority carries the teams lacking speed. As mentioned before sucker punch is best priority as it compliments my psychic types. Never had to tera this mon
Team play style/ general explanation
Uses a hazard lead with good matchups and has several boots + Regen + levitate steel type (so basically 5 mons can basically free pivot in enemy hazards) to deal with the lack of removal or the fact that bronzong slows them to get the hazards set up as well. Heatran has fewer switch-ins but only need one big specs eruption to break almost anything on its way.
I feel like it's really consistent team and has very few single pokemon matchups that fixes with teras like raging bolt or setup iron moth.
I'd say it's worst matchup would be hyper offense with a lot of fast threats but I still won most battles as the bulky mons are fully invested in damage and can survive and one shot back
