So, maybe I just have bad luck but I rarely see BO on the ladder and think, "woo wee this sure is not swag!" So here I am today, with the saucey AV Hoopa + Mixed Chomp juice.
hooba (so swag!) (Hoopa) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Magician
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
My shining star, my sweet darling, AV HOOPA BABEY. So question 1: "sheesh why don't you run hoopa-u?!?! Hoopa-u is just better!" And that is a fair question, but this mon here, just switches in on so much, that its prone to chip, and to fill this role, hoopa-u gets clonked on by u turn. This hoopa can handle it A BIT better, aka it is a reliable switch in on koko and stuff. "Well what can he really do?" Beat like every special attacking mon ever except Clefable or Blissey or smth idk. This is so incredibly tanky that it lives specs dark pulse from greninja. It swags. (also doesnt get slaughtered by volc) ((this thing gets really hard to switch into later in the game))
gargomps (Garchomp-Mega) @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Mild Nature
- Earthquake
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Stealth Rock
Okay so like, I get everyone is having their hayday with that funny old scaleshot sd set for garchomp, and everyone has seemed to have forgotten about mixed garchomp. This guy is good for the exact same reasons it used to be PLUS SOME. Fireblast 2hkos corviknight pretty easily, and since no one runs mixed anymore, they get really, really surprised when garchomp comes in and just kills. For more detail about the greatness of mixed chomp for those who might not know, tangrowth switches in to wall the scaleshot funny man? fire blast. Literally anything comes in to wall this mon? fire blast or smth idk it always works. And now for the biggest question I get about this set. "why literally no speed investment?" Well I mean, what is that speed investment good for on mixed chomp? Not really much. Also since koko can be a problem, this lives specs dazzling gleam lol.
uhhh weavile! (Weavile) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Triple Axel
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Pursuit
Weavile is the bread and butter of this team. Insane clean up mon, also pressures lando pretty well. With your bulky goodness youve probably cleared everything stopping weavile from just kissing the opponents mother upon her supple lips. Triple Axel? Busted move... (if it hits.) Only problem for this mon is rocky helmet users, but its not the hugest deal since this mon is so incredibly frail anyways.
tapu tapu (Tapu Fini) @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 64 SpD / 192 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Scald
- Taunt
- Calm Mind
There's probably a better move pick in here but calm mind can help with stall. This mon in general just kisses stall on the lips. This is also a reliable switch in to so many mons. Like no problem just click this pokemon and you win against gren, most dragon types, a bit of ground types. Just a super, super solid mon, covers so many of this teams weak points.
zabdos (Zapdos) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Heat Wave
- Defog
- Roost
Zapdos? swag. This guys your tanky pivot, status baby, and your defogger. I mean we all know what zapdos does. Just good support for the team. Thinking of replacing heat wave with hurricane but idk.
peggs (Toxapex) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Knock Off
Spdef peggy with the rocky helmet? Yeah, it still has good defense lol, the rocky helmet gets really good chip in for other mons to clean up. And the set is just really good at being your tank. Good stuff, sorry these last two havent been super long in writing I just believe there's not much to say.
