Bulky Offense(First RMT)

Spr_5b_479W.png

Rotom-w@choice scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs:252 spatt/ 252 speed/ 4hp
Nature: Modest
- Hydro Pump
- T-bolt
- Volt Switch
- Trick
My main lead. Can Usually volt switch if i see no grounds or just start doing damage right off the bat. I started out running a choice specs set with timid nature, but i just didn't have the speed that i wanted. Added trick removed shadow ball.

Ferrothorn@leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252HP/48 Def/ 208spde
Nature: Relaxed
- Gyro Ball
- Leach seed
- Power Whip
- Spikes
My secondary lead. I needed a stealth rocker, a physical wall, and a grass type so i picked ferro. May not be the best physical wall becuase of his weakness to fighting attacks but besides those he just never dies and walls most things for days. Half of my defensive core. His fire weakness synergies well with my heatran.Changed SR for spikes.

Tenatcruel@leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 Spde/ 252spatt/4hp
Nature:Calm
- Rapid Spin
- Hydro Pump
- T- Spikes
- Ice Beam
I needed a rapid spinner and i love having T-Spikes on my team so Tentacruel came to mind. I made him my special wall with max spde and alot of HP ev's. I wanted to max out HP but i didn't want him to be all stall so i gave him some att ev's. The other half of my defensive core. Recently added Hydro Pump over scald and ice beam over sludge bomb

Heatran@choice scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs:252 spatt/252 speed/ 4HP
Nature: Modest
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Ancient Power
My Revenge killer and part of my fire/water/grass core that i love to run. I choose ancient power over hp rock because i have won a few games because of the stat boosts. Takes ferrothorn's fire weakness very well.Removed for Gliscor.

Gliscor@Toxic Orb
Ability:Poison Heal
EVs:248HP/216spde/44att
Nature:Impish
-Protect
-SD
-EQ
-Ice Fang
Covers up my fighting weakness very well and functions as my main physical sweeper due to the fact that i changed my T-Tar from DD to mixed set. Also works as a pseudo physical wall because of his great defense.

Volcarona@lum berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 spatt/252speed/4HP
Nature: Modest
- Flamethrower
- Bug Buzz
- Quiver Dance
- HP Rock
My main special sweeper. I just love this guy, even without sun he just destroys teams. I use flamethrower over fire blast because i hate the low accuracy of fire blast and after 2 QDs 95 base power is plenty. I was thinking about running morning sun because stealth rocks just rape him but i decided on a more offensive version.

Tyranitar@Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs:252 hp/192spde/60att
Nature: Jolly
- Ice Beam
- SR
- Fire Blast
- Crunch
My Favorite physical sweeper in 5th gen. Kind of weird DD set but after one dragon dance he out speeds a lot of pokes and can hit like a truck. My team is not very built around sandstorm but it helps so much to be able to get rid of a rain or sun teams weather because i just get raped by rain teams. I use dragon claw or crunch because i hate dragon types and can still handle latios.I recently changed ev spread to be more spec bulky and changed to mixed set.

My teams main threats are fighting types and me being a idiot, i also seem to have problems with rain teams.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, pretty cool team you've got here. Some of your movesets and EV spreads could use some work though. First of all, get rid of Shadow Ball on Rotom-W. It's a waste of a move now that it doesn't receive STAB anymore. It won't be doing damage to anything that T-Bolt or Hydro Pump wouldn't destroy anyways. Instead use either Hidden Power [Ice] or Trick. The prior lets you outspeed and kill +1 Dragonite as long as Multiscale isn't in effect though you'll need to be using a Timid (+Spd, -Atk) nature which is also suggested. Meanwhile, the later allows you to cripple the walls that could shrug off any of your other attacks such as Blissey and Ferrothorn.

Speaking of Ferrothorn, I'd like to suggest using the standard EV spread of 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef so that you can sponge hits like Draco Meteor much easier. Don't worry about the loss of some physical bulk because I've already thought of a way to make up for that and besides you said yourself that Ferrothorn isn't the best physical because of its Fighting-type weakness. The use of Spikes should also be incorperated on the set. However, you're right in having Stealth Rock be a priority because it's overall much more important especially with all of those Volcarona and Dragonite running around. However, I do know an easy way to fit both into the team. Simply change Tyranitar's set to the standard MixTar.

Finally, to patch up your weakness against Fighting-types use SD Gliscor in place of Heatran. It has the bulk needed to take on all of the nastiest physical sweepers in the game and can even sweep itself with Swords Dance or dismantle stall teams with Taunt. I'm going to recommend a different set than the standard Impish (+Def, -SAtk) nature, 248 HP / 184 Def / 76 Spd because of the fact that Lucario is an absolute menace for your team to face. Instead use an EV spread of 248 HP / 44 Def / 216 Spd while maintaining the same nature. This allows you to outspeed Adamant variants of Toxicroak and Lucario and kill them with EQ before they have a chance to OHKO you with Ice Punch. Jolly variants of Lucario may lose a lot of damage potential but can still be problematic. If you find yourself struggling against them then you can simply switch your own nature to Jolly (+Spd, -SAtk) while keeping the same EV spread to outspeed it. Oh, and the moves are Earthquake, Ice Fang, Swords Dance, and Taunt.

Tyranitar's Set:

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Nature: Sassy (+SDef, -Spd)
EVs: 252 HP / 64 SAtk / 192 SDef
- Crunch
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam
- Fire Blast / Superpower
EDIT: I forgot to mentioned that Tentacruel could be running a more offensive set consisting of a Timid (+Spd, -Atk) nature, EV spread of 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd, and moveset of Hydro Pump, Giga Drain / Toxic Spikes, Ice Beam, and Rapid Spin. Life Orb gives you more power but Leftovers can be used to recover some health each turn.

Thanks for the rate ill defently try out sd gliscor and mix t-tar becuase i actually have had some success with mix t-tar in ubers.

I feel like mentioning that you can add pictures by simply copying/pasting the one you want into the RMT. Finding them is easy enough. Here's the sprites for the Pokemon on your team as well as Gliscor.

Oblivion beat me to it. Although since you already have so many special threats you might want to try a different specially defensive ttar set. This is the set I always use:

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry / Leftovers
Careful 252 HP/252 SpD/4 Atk
(Some EVs can be shifted from SpD to Atk at your discretion)
-Stealth Rock
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
-Pursuit

Pursuit is great on Tyranitar, it lets him catch Lati@s on the switch, and can help you win the weather war by hitting fleeing Politoed and Ninetales devently hard.
GL

Edit: Spikes instead of rocks on Ferrothorn too.

Since Oblivion mentioned HP Ice, I figured I should say HP grass is a really good alternative because it's a good "fuck you" to quagsire and gastrodon who like to come in on Rotom. It opens you up a bit to dragons, though; I dont think there is any (threatening) dragon that wash OHKO's with ice. (I could be wrong)
