Hey, I'm new to the forums and don't know much about Rmt, I've read the rules but that's about it. I've been making and testing teams for about 1 month and just recently joined the forums. Ive used this team for 2 weeks now and overall, i've been doing pretty good. But i think i need some advice. Sorry about the lack of pictures. i didn't kno how to get em'.
Azelf@Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Naive
EVs-252 Speed/252 SpAtk/4 Atk
-Stealth Rock
-Psychic
-Fire Blast
-Explosion
I chose Azelf for my lead b/c hes a pretty reliable stealth rocker who can pack quite a punch to most common leads. It can take down metagross, non-fireproof bronzong, and many more. It can also take out many leads via explosion.
Scizor@Leftovers
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant
EVs-129 Health/252 ATK/129 Speed
-Roost
-Swords Dance
-Brick Break
-Bullet Punch
Bulky Scizor is my favorite type. he can really take a hit while reliably setting up for a sweep. while predictable, this scizor can really be a major threat. 2 or 3 swords dances, and most OU pokemon are 1 hitted by either bullet punch or brick break.
Dragonite@Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Adamant
EVs:224 HP/80 ATK/204 Speed
-Dragon Dance
-Fire Punch
-Roost
-Dragon Claw
Dragonite has been coming in and out. i can't quite find a replacement. The basic theme of my team is Buffing. This is a set-up team, this is where i need the most help, i need suggestions on what to add to my team in this slot.Preferably ice-resistant.
Latias@leftovers
Ability-Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs- 129 HP/252 Speed/ 129 SpAtk
-Charge Beam
-Dragon Pulse
-Recover
-Psycho Shift
THis is an odd movepool, custom made by me. I thought, calm mind would b a good idea, o and refresh too. But then, i thought that it minimized my movepool and is not offensive enough. so charge beam was born, a reliable 70% chance to increase SpAtk while having a elec atk in my arsenal. also, psycho shift allows me to not only dispose of my statuses, but pass them on to the opponent. Latias also provides my ground, fire, elec and fighting resist.
Jirachi@leftovers
Ability:Serene Grace
Nature: Bold
EVs:204 HP/112 Def/128 SpAtk/64 SpD
-Cosmic Power
-Charge Beam
-Grass Knot
-Shadow Ball
BY FAR the most prized possession on my team. with the element of surprise, great typing, and stats, jirachi can b very dangerous. With his 100% chance spatk boost from charge beam and amazing defense from setting up cosmic power, jirachi can n the most dangerous in my team. no pokemon is a threat with more than 3 cosmic powers. the only weakness is crits, which are deadly, but ur foe will b dead b4 they get 1.
Gyarados@Leftovers
Ability:Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs:4 HP/252 ATK/252 Speed
-Substitute
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Bounce
With 1 or 2 DDs, gyarados is a real danger, he has excellent coverage for a 2 atk set, taking care of bulky grass in a flash, and every non resistant water pokemon down with ease. But watch out for Vaporeon, he can protect your bounces and absorb your water. when you see a vaporeon switch in jirachi to set up, he has toxic immunity and can take quite a hit from Vaporeon.
Thank you for any suggestions or feedback! Thanks!
