Hey, it's been quite some time since I've posted so I thought I'd show you all a new team I've made. This one is a more bulky offensive team with my usual style. That being taking a pokemon on a lower ladder and being an OU team around them. So here they are.
Ghidorah (Hydrapple) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Fickle Beam
- Giga Drain
- Tera Blast
This is my main special attacker. With Nasty Plot it'll hit like a truck and tera fire is a good coverage option. I went with tera fire cause all I'm gonna miss out on from tera steel is really a dragon resistance and poison immunity. In this case it'll catch some people off guard and I'll fewer weaknesses to worry about. Plus with leftovers, regenerator, and giga it'll be harder to get rid of.
Peter Parker (Araquanid) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Bubble
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Atk / 40 Def
Adamant Nature
- Tera Blast
- Liquidation
- Leech Life
- Mirror Coat
I swear my teams just get weirder as they go along. So it's my first time using Araquanid so I don't what I'm doing with this thing. Basically it's meant to just chip away at the opponents team. I know it can't to big damage but that's ok as I just want it to chip at the team so my other mons can finish them off. I made it mostly physical with the exception of Mirror Coat cause I know I'll need it. Leech also helps keep it alive so that it can do more chipping.
My Tumor (Slowking-Galar) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Slack Off
- Sludge Wave
- Chilly Reception
- Psyshock
My original plan for this thing was for it to support the team with Trick Room, but since I rarely used trick room I removed it for this set. It's also here for chipping and stalling with slack off, regenerator, and chilly reception. Rocky Helmet also helps a great bunch with chipping especially when it comes to knock off.
BOWL (Ting-Lu) @ Leftovers
Ability: Vessel of Ruin
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Throat Chop
- Earthquake
- Whirlwind
This a mostly standard set. Stealth rock + Whirlwind helps with chipping away at opponents. Tera Ghost and Leftovers help keep it alive. Throat chop and earthquake are good moves.
Sir Beaks-a-Lot (Corviknight) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Mirror Armor
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Body Press
- Defog
- Brave Bird
- Tera Blast
This one is a mixed bag as it can both attack and support the team. Body press takes advantage of its def stat. Tera ground tera blast helps with its weaknesses. Defog supports the team by removing hazards.
Puffball (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Fire Blast
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
This is my other main attacker. With Calm mind and moonlight it can stick around. Moonblast and Fire blast are good strong moves. Magic Guard makes sure Toxic doesn't affect me.
