ORAS LC Bulky Sweep

Munchlax (M) @ Berry Juice
Ability: Thick Fat
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 SpD
Impish Nature
- Body Slam
- Fire Punch
- Curse
- Recycle

I decided to use Munchlax because I needed a bulky sweeper to start my team. [1] I use Munchlax as a physically offensive tank. [2] I needed Body Slam because STAB, Fire Punch to kill Steel Types that resist Body Slam, and Berry Juice to stop Munchlax from getting worn down.[3]

Spritzee @ Eviolite
Ability: Aroma Veil
Level: 5
EVs: 212 HP / 196 Def / 12 SpA / 76 SpD / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Wish
- Aromatherapy
- Moonblast

I decided to use Spritzee because I needed a bulky special sweeper to complete the core of my team. [1] I use Spritzee as a monster that can soak up any hit. [2] I needed Calm Mind to boost up Spritzee's bulk, Moonblast as a powerful and accurate STAB, and Eviolite to boost bulk even more.[3]

Timburr @ Eviolite
Ability: Guts
Level: 5
EVs: 76 HP / 196 Atk / 76 Def / 156 SpD
Impish Nature
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Mach Punch
- Bulk Up

I decided to use Timburr because I needed a more reliable check to steel types.[1] I use Timburr as a physically offensive tank. [2] I needed Drain Punch for STAB recovery, Knock Off to kill Psychic and Ghost types on the switch, and Eviolite to boost bulk.[3]

Magnemite @ Berry Juice
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 5
EVs: 240 SpA / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Recycle

I decided to use Magnemite because I needed a good offensive pivot on my team. [1] I use Magnemite to maintain momentum through out a match. [2] I needed Volt Switch because STAB and momentum booster, Flash Cannon to hit pretty much anything hard, and Berry Juice to get two uses out of Sturdy.[3]

Foongus @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 124 HP / 160 Def / 160 SpD
Bold Nature
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Stun Spore

I decided to use Foongus because I needed another pivot to not only keep momentum but also to counter Spritzee. [1] I use Foongus as a tank that can status if needed and also a pivot. [2] I needed Giga Drain because STAB and Recovery, Sludge Bomb to get rid of Spritzee, and Eviolite to boost bulk. [3]

Drilbur @ Eviolite
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Rock Slide
- Stealth Rock

I decided to use Drillbur because I needed a Support mon that could also do damage. [1] I use Drillbur to spin away hazards and to set hazards myself. [2] I needed Rapid Spin to get rid of hazards, EQ for a powerful STAB that can hit Leviate users, and Eviolite to boost bulk.[3]

Sorry for the weird writing. It's my first real try at this.

hi

first of all you need a bit more description for why you chose your members.

-bj curselax is bad and you already have 2 bulky setup mons in spritzee and timburr. your team is kinda lacking in switchins to strong water types such as skrelp, so i think a good change would be to replace lax with ferroseed. the set is:
Ferroseed @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
Level: 5
EVs: 84 HP / 36 Atk / 188 Def / 148 SpD / 36 Spe
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
-2 of Leech Seed/Iron Head/Protect/Spikes

-as for spritzee, running cm+aroma is generally not a good idea since wish really needs protect to be used to its max effectiveness. i would swap either aromatherapy or cm for protect depending on whether or not you want to keep cm spritz.

-timburr doesn't need max attack, imo the best ev spread is 116 atk/156 def/236 sdef careful. this gives you 24/14/14 bulk boosted by eviolite as well as an even-numbered attack stat which is better for boosting with.

-mag and foongus look good, although i would consider running hp fire>stun spore on foongus to bop opposing ferroseeds.

-i think you should replace drilbur with evio staryu. this maintains your ability to spin while giving you a desperately-needed ponyta check. the set is:
Staryu @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Level: 5
EVs: 116 HP / 156 Def / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Scald
- Psychic
- Rapid Spin
- Recover

Corporal Levi tell me if there's a better spread for that

edit: changed spread

Hello there JMcLemore57 and welcome to LC, this seems like a team with a solid synergy good job on building it, however I have some few changes here and there that will hopefully make the team better. Keep in mind that these changes are made so that they help Spritzee late-game clean more reliably with Calm Mind:

First of all I don't understand why Munchlax is there, you say you need a setup sweeper but you already have Spritzee and Timburr that are setup sweepers, so I'll agree with Kopaka and say that Ferroseed over Munchlax would be better for your team, Kopaka's set is fine but ffs use a Careful nature not Calm lol.

Secondly, use Protect over Aromatherapy on Spritzee as Aroma isn't needed much (the only use it has is to deal with mons with Toxic but those are kinda absent in LC), meanwhile Protect lets you get a guaranteed heal from Wish without worrying about getting KOed.

Also, change Timburr's set so that it's 76 HP / 36 Atk / 156 Def / 236 SpD with a Careful nature which lets you hit 25/21/21 in defenses after the Eviolite boost allowing you to live a Psychic from non-LO Abra for example.

And I suggest changing various stuff about Magnemite starting from the EV spread to 156 HP / 36 Def / 240 SpA / 76 SpD with a Modest nature that lets it hit 11 in Speed which is quite enough for it to be honest but is still bulky to take on a lot of hits such as Fletchling's Overheat and the Modest nature lets it hurt stuff really bad with its 20 Special Attack. Also I recommend changing the ability to Magnet Pull and use Hidden Power Fire over Hidden Power Ground as it lets you take on Ferroseed, which can be really problematic for your team and especially Spritzee, and KO it with a little of prior damage ofc. Shoutout for Mambo for innovating this great set.

Also I'm not sure about Kopaka's suggestion of using Staryu over Drilbur as Drilbur is one of the most recommended teammates for CM Spritzee because it can take on Steel-, Fire-, and Poison-types that resist Spritzee's Moonblast so I think you should keep it. HP Fire over Stun Spore is about flavors tbh if you need something else to check Ferro with but Stun Spore can be used to paralyze stuff which can really help Spritzee.

Anyways that's all I have, I hope I helped and good luck! :)
