  • Breloom's niche is being the fastest Spore user, allowing it to put threats to sleep before they are able to act. Grass and Fighting provide a unique offensive typing that is able to hit common Pokemon like Tyranitar, Jellicent, and Heatran super effectively. That said, Breloom is held back by its middling Speed tier and lackluster bulk. Additionally, it lacks the overall utility and ease of use of Amoonguss, relegating Breloom to more offensive teams that can benefit from a faster Spore user.
  • Superpower is Breloom's strongest Fighting-type STAB move, allowing it to OHKO non-Chople Berry Tyranitar and Excadrill. Bullet Seed with the Technician boost is Breloom's most reliable Grass-type STAB. Mach Punch alongside Technician can allow Breloom to pick off weakened, faster threats such as Kyurem-B or Excadrill.
  • Fighting Gem is the preferred item to guarantee a OHKO on Heatran and Chople Berry Tyranitar with Superpower while also knocking out Excadrill and Kyurem-B, after Stealth Rock damage, with Mach Punch. Grass Gem is an option to OHKO Jellicent while also knocking out Tyranitar with 3 hits of Bullet Seed.
  • Breloom oftentimes finds itself on weather teams, as their offensive nature can make the most use of a fast Spore user. Breloom's typing also synergizes well with both sand and rain teams. For sand teams, Breloom threatens opposing Excadrill and bulky Water-types, such as Jellicent and Politoed, that can give Excadrill trouble. In return, Excadrill and Tyranitar can check Thundurus and Latios, which are two of the biggest threats to Breloom. Rain teams also appreciate Breloom's ability to answer bulky Water-types, most notably Jellicent and Gastrodon, and Kyurem-B. Heatran is an excellent teammate due to its ability to threaten Amoonguss, while Breloom can facilitate Substitute with Spore and beat common Heatran checks such as Jellicent, Tyranitar, and Kyurem-B. Bisharp can deter Landorus-T while threatening Psychic-types, such as Cresselia and Latios, for Breloom.

Let's slash/mention Grass Gem, it's able to take out Jellicent in 2 hits of Bullet Seed, and Tar in 3. You mentioned over Disc you might want to change the set to Ada, I don't think that's a problem, as there's not really anything at or around that speed tier to worry about that's optimal to run.

I think in the last bullet there's a bit of repetition going on with the word "threat(en)", you could use some more variety just to sauce it up a bit.

Otherwise, excellent work as usual, 1/2.

  • Superpower is Breloom's strongest Fighting-type STAB. i understand the fighting gem point is where we mention more tangible calcs but it'd still be nice to mention some targets here, chople-less ttar / excadrill come to mind Bullet Seed with the Technician boost is Breloom's most reliable Grass-type STAB.
