[OVERVIEW]
Celebi main reason to use over other grass types in the BW metagame Thanks to its key psychic typing and solid 100 bulk all across the board and with reliable recovery + natural cure. it does face competition as a special wall with Clefable and Blissey, but Celebi's Grass/Psychic Typing means is 1 of few special walls that can switch into keldeo most of keldeo moves just fine and makes celebi a legitimate threat for rain teams. Its also a nice stealth rock setter thanks to its movepool is hard to punish celebi with pursuit since it has acess to dry baton pass and Celebi can also check alot of metagame staples of the tier with grass knot , Psychic to hit hard some metagame staples like Tyranitar , Hippowdon , Politoed , Breloom , Keldeo , Terrakion , Starmie , Tentacruel , Rotom-Wash , Thundurus-Thearian , Jellicent , Alakazam.Celebi doesnt fear status due to nature cure being able to easily get rid of them, although cant always switch on Terrakion , Starmie , Thundurs-Thearian , Alakazam nicely except on resisted moves and Rotom-wash can volt switch on your switch its still a good check to them. Celebi also has acess to Nasty plot turning into a fearsome special attacker into slower targets like Landorus-t , Reuniclus. However one of the few flaws of Celebi is that its weak to Hazards which makes Celebi exploitable agaisnt more offensive pokemon which otherwise checks like Keldeo , Starmie , Thundurus-Thearian , Alakazam and due to its 4x bug weakness faster targets like Landorus-Thearian , Gliscor , Jirachi , can easily deal alot of damage just by clicking u turn and Tyranitar can deal alot of damage by pursuit. Celebi's Typing also is very exploitable especially agaisnt Excadrill , Garchomp , Dragonite , Scizor , Volcarona , Heatran , Ferrothorn , Skarmory which the former will use you as set up fodder and the latter as hazard setter due to Celebi average damage output.

Psychic is a reliable stab option to OKHO Breloom , hits Terrakion , keldeo , Rotom-Wash , Thundurus-Thearian ,Tentacruel. Baton pass is good for a safe pivot move that also doesnt get affected by pursuit from Pokemon like Tyranitar , Scizor . Giga drain is nice for some healing and consistent damage on waters like Politoed , Keldeo , Rotom-Wash , Gastrodon , Starmie , Jellicent and break Alakazam Focus Sash .Although Grass knot usually preffered to deal massive alot of damage on key targets like Tyranitar and Hippowdon which you 3HKO the former , 2HKO the latter. Thunder Wave is crucial to slow down faster and slow Pokemon like Latios , Keldeo , Alakazam , Starmie , Reuniclus , Clefable , Rotom-Wash. Recover is great for being able to consistently shrug off damage from Special attackers and rain-boosted Water-Type moves

252 HP , 240 SpD allows you to match up well agaisnt alot of special attackers of the tier that is supposed to check. 16 Speed EVs let Celebi outspeed Mamoswine , Dragonite letting you attack them first or pivot out of a bad situation with Baton pass , you can also guarantee a Thunder Wave on Dragonite if hasnt set up previously.
Team Options

Celebi fits mainly on Sand Teams as a check to all Water Types of the tier , other Special attackers. Excadrill is mandatory most of the time since is the best spinner on sand and checks alot of slower , faster Pokemon of the tier like Reuniclus , Tyranitar , Clefable , Kyurem-Black , Mamoswine , Scizor. Celebi benefits alot with hazards being removed and have a easier time checking Water-types , Thundurs-Thearian , Breloom. Tyranitar will be great to Check Volcarona , as a check to the Psychic-types like Reuniclus , latios , Alakazam. Rain teams often have enough Pokemon to pressure Celebi so is advised to have Rotom-Wash since it checks All Water-types seen on rain , is a good check to Landorus-Thearian , Gliscor , Excadrill , Tyranitar , Skarmory , Starmie , Mamoswine , burns Scizor , Ferrothorn and it appreciates Celebi checking Keldeo. Heatran is a good to check Volcarona , Latios , Scizor and can set Stealth Rock which Celebi enjoys it checking them , setting rocks so celebi has more move options to run and Celebi checks the Water-Types for Heatran and can switch on Fighting moves like Terrakion Close combat. Gliscor is good to check Excadrill , Clefable , Ferrothorn with Knock Off which wears them down very quickly . Keldeo is good to check Volcarona , Tyranitar , Gliscor , Landorus-Thearian , Excadrill , hyper offense teams since they are usually very weak to keldeo Coverage which Celebi Struggles into that kind of team and Celebi helps Keldeo by Checking Latios , Alakazam , Starmie , Rotom-Wash , Breloom which Celebi also can Paralyze them.

Nasty Plot is nice as a quick set up tool to already deal massive damage and KO Landorus-Thearian, Offensive Excadrill , Hippowdon after +2 Spa Leaf storm, guarantee 2HKO on Reuniclus , Tyranitar which also has a decent KO roll with Stealth rock on the field and you can use Reuniclus as set up fodder , passive Pokemon. Giga drain is Nice for the Healing , with special boosts you heal even more now than used to and can guarantee kos on all Water-types , Mamoswine. Leaf Storm is another option over Giga Drain
that hits alot harder all the targets that Giga drain does something to note is that it achieve KO ranges more easily with Leaf storm like Gliscor , Reuniclus , Excadrill , Landorus-Thearian , Tyranitar and KO Mamoswine , Starmie , Keldeo even without a boost. Hidden Power Fire is Crucial to hit Scizor , Breloom , Ferrothorn , Skarmory , Magnezone , Forretress. Recover is nice for shrugging off damage previously dealt by Pokemon that you can safely heal back the damage keep in mind due to the lower bulk it doesnt check same things like Alakazam , Latios specs destroys Celebi now also.

188 Speed EVs Allows Celebi to outspeed non Scarf Landorus-Thearian sets , 252 HP 68 SpD EVs to still let celebi be bulky Shrug off damage though ur not walling anything that isnt passive as it used to.
Team Options

This Celebi set still fits Primarly on Sand Structures so Gliscor is good to check pokemon like Jirachi , Heatran , Garchomp , Terrakion , Excadrill , Tyranitar , also to set up Stealth rock ,appreciates Celebi setting up on Ferrothorn , Water-Types. Tyranitar is also good to check Alakazam , Latios , Volcarona which celebi appreciates and in return helps alot agaisnt rain teams , Breloom , Keldeo. Seimstoad , Jellicent is also good as a second check agaisnt rain teams since Celebi has less bulk with this set it needs more help to take off water-type boosted attacks, Landorus-Thearian is also good to Set Stealth rocks , Check Dragons like Dragonite , Garchomp which Celebi struggles agaisnt the former , check Excadrill and u turn is nice for pivot for Celebi to entry safely. Latios is nice for some speed control , Check all Dragon-types , Thundurus-Thearian and appreciates celebi being able to lure pursuit Pokemom most of the time . Skarmory is a good dragon resist which Celebi appreciates and sets hazards helping its partners to check other Pokemons aswell. Terrakion is a good wallbreaker for celebi as both cover each other weakness nicely , Terrakion can check Volcarona in Sand.

Other Options
=============
Celebi has Acess to moves like Swords dance which can be set up on Pokemon that commonly walls however is not a hard set to deal as the damage output is quite low and in some Matchups is hard to set up . Sucker punch is nice to outspeed Alakazam , Latios though doesnt do alot more besides that so ends up being a waste of move slot. Hidden Power Ice can be used to lure Dragonite , other dragons though you might want Magnezone with this set since your damage into ferro , skarmory is very small. Healing wish can be used to fully heal a Pokemon that has been worn down. though it just means ur giving up on coverage making you vulurable to set up.
Perish Song also exists though isnt realiable due to its low pp and all you do is force out pokemon to switch like reuniclus. Heal bell is nice to get rid of your whole team Status although can be a waste of moveslot sometimes considering not all teams are gonna try inflict status.
Checks and Counters
==================
**Fire-Types** Ninetales , Heatran , Volcarona in special , they are extremelly dangerous for Celebi since its easily KOed by their moves. Heatran can use Celebi to Set up Stealth Rock , meanwhile Volcarona uses it as a set up fodder with Quiver Dance.
**Entry-Hazards**: Since Celebi doesnt have any form of immunity to Hazards its quickly worn down by them which means Celebi also is vulnurable to Ferrothorn , Skarmory if isnt running Nasty plot set since they can just stack Hazards without worry of Celebi.
**Tyranitar** Unless Celebi is running Baton pass or Nasty Plot set to KO Tyranitar. Tyranitar can easily do Pursuit mindgames with Celebi while crunch still deals alot of damage and Scarf Tyranitar sets which Celebi should be also Extremely careful with as it Outspeeds them.
**Steel-Types** Besides Ferrothorn , Skarmory which use Celebi as setup fodder Celebi should also be worried about Jirachi which set rocks , U-turns freely on Celebi , Scizor if isnt running Hidden power fire since can be used as set up fodder by Scizor Swords Dance , Jirachi Calm mind , Excadrill Swords Dance.
**Dragon-Types** Celebi needs to be careful around all Dragon-Types since doesnt hit them that hard and they can use Celebi as set up fodder though Latios , Dragonite should be careful around Thunder Wave Celebi Sets if it isnt on KO range.
**Super-Effective-Coverage** Pokemon that Celebi usually checks like Keldeo , Alakazam , Starmie often carry Ice-Type , Bug-Type moves and Landorus-Thearian , Gliscor often run U-turn.
