BW OU - First RMT in Years

this is a basic Sand Team, it has a nice balance of stall and offense. I've been trying many other teams but this strategy has been proving to winning games. I started off with an old pair, Blissey and Skarmory. Second combo is Celebi and Tyranitar. Then I just added pokemon "meshed" well with the team for some offense, which happened to be Garchomp and Excadrill. TBH this team isnt too different from what Ive used in past generations. Which brings me to the reason Im posing this, so you all can bring me up to speed! Make suggestions and Ill be happy. Lather me with constructive criticism.

Tyranitar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 240 HP / 64 Atk / 204 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Fire Blast
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Curse

T-tar is the boss, basic counter set. Fire Blast for steels, SE and Crunch for STAB bonus and coverage. Curse so I have the potential for a late game sleep, fairly good when the opponent is always switching in counters which happens.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 60 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Spikes
- Roost

Its Skarm, you cant mess this guy up too bad. He comes in a lot to take damage, he is probably MVP of the team. He does everything. He takes most of the physical threats that come my way and Roosts the damage off. He Spikes and gives me the ability to phaze. MVP.

Excadrill (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance
- Rock Slide

I prefer Life Orb over Air Balloon for power but being immune to ground is nice. Not much to say this guy other than saying this guy is fast even without sand and is a force

Garchomp (M) @ Yache Berry
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Swords Dance

meshes well with team and its a good partner for Excadrill. Double Dragon? Pssh. Mole Dragon! You all know how this works, set up behind substitute and SD late game and sweep. All of his moves have STAB. Might go with Fire Fang for coverage but Im debating it.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 240 Def / 28 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Leech Seed
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Recover
- Grass Knot

Ive noticed no body plays Celebi but it has a lot of good resistances and takes a hit like a man.. or onion. Unsure about HP Fire but Im tired of Ferro, that guy is a pain in the ass for this team so I think it may be staying or Im replacing Celebi.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Softboiled
- Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic

Its Blissey. But the EV spread is a little different. Its set to take on stat booster special sweepers. Gengar is a whore to this set but its a bit rare from what Ive seen. SR could go on other pokemon, T-tar or Celebi possibly. Maybe Ill put Flame Thrower on this to counter Ferro and hit Gengar. Time will tell.

Threat List
-Offensive Threats

Breloom -Celebi take care of it
Chandelure - T-tar, Chomp, Excadrill to revenge. SR in whole though takes care of it.
Conkeldurr - a pain in my ass, got to wear it down.

Garchomp - Skarm and Celebi
Gengar - pain in my ass
Gyarados - Celebi.. I actually need a better counter.

Tornadus -blissey..
Tyranitar - mix effort to kill
Volcarona - Blissey

Blissey - Excadrill
Bronzong - Blissey
Celebi - Celebi war or just wear it down with Blissey forcing it to switch
Chansey - Excadrill
Ferrothorn - hopefully bait it out
Gliscor - skarm..
Hippowdon - celebi
Jellicent -celebi
Politoed - celebi
Rotom-W - celebi-
Skarmory - have to wear it down with a team effort
Suicune - celebi
Swampert - celebi..

If you want to use Tyranitar for late-game sweeps, you may prefer to use a Dragon Dance set with Fire Punch over Fire Blast. Also, as a replacement for Garchomp, why not try Landorus? It takes on many of the same roles as Garchomp with the added bonus of a 1.3x boost to its Earthquake. Finally, I do recommend Flamethrower on Blissey, since special attacking is one of the few things it can do better than Chansey.
