Thundurus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 104 HP / 144 Def / 48 SpA / 4 SpD / 208 Spe
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Thunder
- Hidden Power Ice
- Focus Blast

This lightning juggernaut residing in BW OU will strike fear to the hearts of many with its thunderous presence! Substitute capitalizes on Thundurus-T’s ability to force switches, eases prediction, and ignores paralysis from Jirachi. The given defensive EVs prevent Substitute from breaking to weak attacks like Ferrothorn’s Power Whip and Jirachi’s Body Slam. Hidden Power Ice complements its STAB move, Thunder, by covering Gliscor, Landorus-T, Garchomp, Latios, and Breloom, while Focus Blast hits Excadrill, Tyranitar, Kyurem-B, and Ferrothorn. This Thundurus-T set is exclusively found on rain teams thanks to Politoed’s instant rain, which enables perfectly-accurate Thunders. Thundurus-T benefits from other rain staples like Tentacruel, which provides Rapid Spin to alleviate its Stealth Rock weakness, and Ferrothorn, which sets up Spikes to punish switch-ins even more. In return, Politoed and Tentacruel appreciate Thundurus-T’s immunity to Electric-type attacks. Offensive partners such as Latios and Keldeo enjoy Thundurus-T breaking down Ferrothorn and bulky Water-types like Tentacruel, respectively, which opens up their late-game sweep.

Substitute is used to capitalize on Thundurus-T’s ability to force switches as well as easing prediction. Moreover, its defensive typing allows it to set up in front of the tier’s best support Pokemon, Ferrothorn - with the invested bulk EVs, Substitute will always survive its Power Whip.
I want you to also mention how you also set up on passive attacks like Jirachi Body Slam. Really just passive attacks like that in general.

Hidden Power Ice complements its STAB move to smack Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Latios,
Add Breloom and Garchomp.

Other rain partners like Tentacruel provides Rapid Spin support to alleviate its Stealth Rock weakness, and its own Ferrothorn sets up Spikes to punish even more switches.
Careful for the Ferrothorn part here, it implies Tentacruel's own Ferrothorn set rather than rain with how it reads. Also reword "even more switches" to say "punish switches even more" since it's more overall accurate.

Offensive partners like Latios enjoys Thundurus-T’s wallbreaking duty and ability to deal with Ferrothorn to open up its own late-game sweep.
I'd also mention Keldeo since Thund destroys Waters and Grasses for it, which makes Keldeo very difficult to answer.

If this goes over char limit, remove that intro stuff with Zeus. It's all unneeeded fluff. anyway. Implement for QC 1/1.
