Dragon Knight

Start to build from Sub + Sd Garchomp.

Going to analyze its weaknesses, you may well notice that suffers various types stell including Skarmory ferrotorn (in the rain) and Scizor, then Mamoswine and Hippowdon. For this reason I decided to insert Magnezone and Starmie.

Being a team rather offensive, Breloom could not miss.

And then the setter, in this case I chose Terrakion.

Let's see the team in detail

639.gif

Terrakion @ Focus Sash
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt

We start from the lead. Being an offense I had to choose a Pokemon in gro to inflict damage but at the same time could set the rocks, in this case my choice fell on Terrakion, not bad.

286.gif

Breloom (M) @ Fighting Gem
Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Swords Dance

That's one of the two revenge killer of the team, I've always loved Breloom since the time of DPPt, for its ability to numb the opponent, to produce the boost and attack with match punch stab with his great power increased from fight gem.

121.gif

Starmie @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Psyshock
- Rapid Spin
- Recover

Here is the spinner of the team, it was not easy for me to put it in since Starmie bw do not like much, but it was the only one able to use rapid spin and nelfrattempo have the function of water in the team, essential for Mamoswine and hippodon that give a lot of discomfort to Garchomp.

385.gif

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Ice Punch
- U-turn
- Trick

He is the revenge killer other team, it was a pretty tough choice since I already had a type steel in the team, but Magnezone covering a different function, so I had to put someone in a position to cover my dragon attacks and attack, not bad also because it uses u turn.

462.gif

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Volt Switch

He is the trapper of ferrotorn and Scizor two pokemon much damage bother Garchomp, so I added Magnezone actions to punish two in one fell swoop.

445.gif

Garchomp (M) @ Yache Berry
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw

Here is the dragon knight referred to by the title, has a lot of devastating moves, being on a replacement after a sword dance becomes unstoppable. I assigned the Yache to prevent the ice moves to keep him very badly. Not bad.

This team has given me a lot of satisfaction, but to improve it I decided to post it here. I hope you do, good rate and sorry for the English xp

Hello! I really like the team so far but there are two things I can recommend. First, I would give Breloom Life Orb. Fighting Gem is a one time use and only works on Fighting moves. Life Orb works with every move and continues working until death. Next, I would recommend switching Magnezon to Choice Scarf Magneton. I used Magnezone once and I still found it to be too slow. Magneton has 10 more Base points in Speed and that helps it outspedd even more things that Magnezone has no chance of outspeeding. Hope this helped and good luck with the team.

P.S. You should increase your descriptions so this thread does not get locked!

Hi there, nice team you have here :-)
I don't see the point of running Rapid Spin on Starmie; you don't have any SR weakness. Also, your team is fast enough to avoid Spikes set-up
I'd change RSpin for Ice Beam.
I'd also change Substitue on Garchomp for Fire Fang/Aqua Tail/Outrage (the one you like most)
I think you should also run a SubChargeBeam on Magnezone (you'll find a good EVs on the site) which allows you to trap effectively Ferrothorn and revengekill Scizor
Good luck with the team!

What about salac berry i heard it works just fine on garry (Dragon knight)
you can try charge beam/substitube on magnezone its a bit trollish but you might find it better, after that you can replace your breloom for specs latios and make real use of the magnezone in your team.
then you might also want to take a step further by replacing that starmie with another dragon and make this team really incredible, after all sr rock isnt a big threat to your team since you have all those sr resistant pokemon in fact all of your pokemon are stealth rock resistant except the spinner it self so why should you use it ?

you might think dragon spam wont work but you should know that its one of the best weatherless game styles if not the best.

Alright, so I'm on a rating spree right now and why not try to earn that TR badge, eh?

Threats at a Glance

1.
645.png
Rock Polish Landorus
: Landorus looks like it can come in and set up on a number of your Pokemon (like Jirachi, TBolt locked Magnezone, +0 Garchomp (although he'd have to wrack up hazards since Yache will make HP Ice a 2HKO beforehand), it threatens Breloom and you have that 50 / 50 -- bullet seed it and risk HP ice or switch?, and he also sets up on Terrak well enough after it's sash is broken.

2.
647.png
Choice Scarf Keldeo
: Keldeo is a Pokemon that, with HP Electric, can easily clean up if it's partner is Landorus (which is very common right now). It doesn't help that it OHKOs or 2HKOs everything outside of rain (imagine the horror of fighting it in rain!).

3.
381.png
Life Orb / Specs Latios
: Jirachi is not very bulky, and Draco Meteor from Specs or Life Orb is going to hurt really, really bad. Throw in some hazards and damn, this thing is quite the threat.

4.
003.png
Growth Venusaur
: Can come in, Growth on virtually anything at 100%, and proceeds to buttfuck you.

5.
645-therian.png
Double Dance Landorus-T
: Get's Rock Polish up, proceeds to buttfuck everything; like Venusaur.

6.
149.png
Dragon Dance Dragonite
: Sets up on Breloom or Magnezone and can then proceed to have sex with you homosexually.

-.-.-

I'm sure I can find more threats, but I'm pretty sure I can find partners that should overall cover everything you are weak to (even things I did not get around to mentioning). So, without further ado, let us get into the rate.

Firstly, I do not like the idea of you using dual scarfers on this team (especially such a shitty one like Magnezone). What is Mag even doing that your team members aren't? Jirachi plays RK'er, and Terrakion + Breloom can manage and set up on the majority of steel types out there, and Garchomp's Earthquake is more than enough for Jirachi. I'd replace Magnezone for something more efficient, something like Life Orb Latias. LO Latias works because it handles Landorus, Keldeo, Venusaur, Dragonite at +0, and deters Latios switch ins.

Second, I'd try using Salac Berry over Yache on Garchomp. I don't see why you need it really, when the offensive prowess is much better for this team (Jirachi, Terrakion, Breloom > Mamoswine).

With that, you really only have to watch out for Keldeo and Landorus cores paired with Tyranitar, but Scarf Jirachi, Terrakion, and Breloom can be used to check him (lots of people fodder Tyranitar to Spore, too). I wish you luck!

Hey, nice team.

First of all, I'd suggest you to follow Shurtugal's suggestions about Latias and Garchomp because they're just good for your team. Try them and see how they go.

Then, I'd like to give some suggestion myself. Even if you use Latias in my opinion you're still a bit weak to Landorus, Keldeo and to Politoed as well (mainly the Choice Specs or the Choice Scarf variants) because Latias can't handle all these big threats alone, so you probably need to use a more bulky Starmie instead of your current one. An EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Spe / 4 SAtk is probably what your team wants, you'll lose some fire power but you'll gain an useful checks to Keldeo & Politoed which seem to be both very annoying for your team to handle. You should probably try Ice Beam instead of Psyshock too, which would help you with the Dragonite weakness. Not a really suggestion here, just a thing to consider.

As last thing, I suggest you to use Fire Punch on your Jirachi replacing Trick, it can help you to revenge-kill SD Scizor which looks like a big threat to deal with for your team. It can setup only on your Jirachi locked into Ice Punch or a Iron Head but then it can sweep your whole team so try Fire Punch and see how it works.

That's all I guess, good luck with your team :).
