BW2 Rain Stall

This is my newest team, stall has always been my favorite way to play but it has become harder and harder to build a successful team with all of the offensive threats running around today. The new Therian forms, and Keldeo come to mind. This team has been pretty successful since I've started using it, but it definitely has problems. Any and all feedback is appreciated, Thanks!

@Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Scald
- Toxic
- Perish Song
- Protect

Basic defensive Politoed. Scald is a good water move made even better from STAB and the boost it gets in the rain. Toxic and Protect work very well together to stall my opponent. Protect can also be used to scout if my opponent has a certain move. It can also be used to stall for a turn of Perish Song/see what comes in. Perish Song is used to force switches and rack up more Spikes/Stealth Rock damage.

@ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Def / 140 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Toxic

I'm trying Chansey over Blissey. Better defenses with no Leftovers recovery. On a rain team though, I don't mind it as much as I would on a sand team because I'm not taking damage every turn. Chansey actually works well as a Stealth Rocker because of it's ability to come in on so many Pokemon and force them out for one reason or another. Seismic Toss for damage, Softboiled for recovery, and Toxic so I can spread it around my opponents team and let the damage rack up.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Spikes

Skarmory is part two of the SkarmBliss combo that I love so much. Nothing too special on this set because it works so well. Whirlwind is used to phaze Pokemon in and out so that they take more damage from entry hazards. Brave Bird is used just so that I'm not completely screwed against something like Breloom, it also makes sure that I'm not hopeless after being taunted. Roost is used for recovery while Spikes are laid up as quickly as possible to make sure my opponent takes as much damage as possible when they switch in.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Protect

Tentacruel isn't only my spinner and toxic spiker, but it also gets rid of opposing toxic spikes which really benefits my team (specifically helps Sableye who really doesn't want to be poisoned if he doesn't have to.) Against certain teams Toxic Spikes are crucial for me if I want to win. Getting certain sweepers poisoned as soon as they switch in can prevent me from being swept because of all the Pokemon that have Protect on this team. Rapid Spin is used to get rid of opposing entry hazards. Scald is a move that is made even better in the rain, I also don't mind getting the burn if possible. Protect is used to stall for more toxic damage.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 28 SAtk / 148 SDef / 4 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Giga Drain
- Clear Smog
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Spore

Amoonguss replaces Gliscor on my team, and also helps my obvious Keldeo weakness. Not only does it help me deal with Keldeo but I am now able to stop Breloom in its tracks where I used to have to rely on Skarmory or play around it. HP Ice over Sludge Bomb to deal with this Breloom, Giga Drain will hit the likes of Keldeo for good enough damage and Clear Smog will keep it from getting set up. Spore because it's always nice putting something to sleep.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Night Shade

Last but not least Sableye is my spin blocker but also helps me against opposing stall teams. With Prankster I make sure I get my Taunts and Will-O-Wisps off first. Recover also gets priority which helps me a lot when stalling my opponent. Night Shade gives me a way to deal good damage to anything regardless of whether it is super effective or not.

First off I highly, highly, suggest you run Chansey > Blissey. You can easily affort to because of rain and Chansey can deal with the various mixed special attackers in the tier now like superpower Tornadus-T.

Your Blissey spread is also inefficent BTW, 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD Calm takes hits better from both sides. Ive been using Chansey and can personally atleast to a spread of 116 HP / 252 Def / 140 SDef Calm. That set can take 2 psyshocks from specs Latios, which is pretty good.

I suggest you run stealth rock / softboiled on Chansey / Blissey over wish and protect. Nothing on this team needs wish support and Gliscor would rather have another move. Chansey and Blissey also make exellect rock leads because of rain everywhere.

Glicor would rathr have ice fang or taunt over stealth rock. Gliscor also gets roost now!! Use it over protect.

Ok after all that, I notice that I notice that this team has a massive, massive weakness to Keldeo. Toxic spikes support simply isn't enough. An easy fix to this is Amoonguss over Gliscor, generally they stop the same things like Conkeldurr. It also stops the new Breloom and helps out against Thundurus. Ive been using a set of 248 HP / 80 Def / 28 SAtk / 148 SDef / 4 Spd pretty effectively on Amoongus, run it with gigadrain / clear smog / HP ice / spore.

Sorry Im a bit rushed for time at the moment, I might say more stuff later.

good luck man
