By George I've think I've got it! (OU RMT)

Anyone know where the quote from the title came from? Kinda forgot where. Anyway lately I've been in a slump and I couldn't make a sucessful team to save my life. The slump's been bugging me for awhile until I was like, "Screw this, I'm going to make a good team if it ******* kills me". So after creating a few teams, failing, creating more, failing again, and playing Gears 2 to get this off my mind I made this. What I got so far is kinda new so bare with me, and any feedback would be great.

Sperm (Azelf) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
- Explosion

TauntZelf ftw. Not many leads can outspeed Azelf and Taunt it first except Aerodactyl and Weavile but:
A: I Psychic first cause he's predictable.
B: I shouldn't stay in against it anyway. They don't usually carry Pursuit anyway.

machamp.png

Brothers in Armz (Machamp) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Ice Punch
- Dynamicpunch

I needed something to rape the piss out of status. He also makes a decent tank.

jirachi.png

Lucky Star (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 240 HP/56 Atk/76 Def/136 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Wish
- Reflect
- U-turn
- Iron Head

WALLED! I remember reading that Jirachi works well with Salamence cause of his typing and I said: ";-; if only Mence was a wall......" and I from that thought I went to Dragonite to support him in walling. Although my Dragonite can take Special Ice hits pretty well, Ice Shards from Weavile are scary. Jirachi switches in on the Shard and goes all Zidane on him. Standard Jirachi works better with a friend. I'm thinking of putting T-wave somewhere though. Damn 4 moveslots. >.<

dragonite.png

A Big Orange Dinosaur (Dragonite) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 248 HP/44 Spd/216 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Light Screen
- Roost
- Flamethrower
- Toxic

Second part of my walling combo. They both kinda work like SkarmBliss without those annoying noobs breathing down my neck. Magnezone also likes to prey on Jirachi but with a quick U-turn Dragonite comes to the rescue and frys the Refrigerator magnet.

tyranitar.png

Reptar (Tyranitar) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Aqua Tail
- Stone Edge
- Crunch

O woa T-Tar! Nah but seriously this guy is a nice sweeper. Dragon Dance gives alot of attack and that's just hawt.

porygonz.png

CtrlAltDelete (Porygonz) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Tri Attack
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Porygon-Z is one of the best revenge killers in the game next to Weavile. BoltBeam and HP Fighting already hit Lanturn and Magnezone for at least neutral and then Tri Attack comes and destroys everything for x2 STAB. Only thing that resists this combo is Shedinja but.......yeah. He's the joke of the pokemon world.

Hey there

I have some minimalist pieces of advice here, I'm kinda in a rush.

On Azelf, consider changing the spread to 200 Atk, 56 SpA, 252 Spe. It still lets you OHKO Gengar and Infernape with Psychic, 2HKO Aerodactyl with Psychic, plus it gives your Explosion a lot more force behind it. It's the spread I usually use on my lead Azelfs.

Stone Edge is usually much more useful on Machamp to hit Gyarados and Zapdos a lot harder.

Trick could be very helful on P-Z, allowing you to cripple walls like snorlax and blissey as well letting you deal with opposing trick pokemon. I personally would put it over Thunderbolt. If you make your p-z timid it will be able to outspeed adamant salamence after a dd and ko with ice beam, making it a much better revenge killer and giving your team added insurance against the dragon. If you choose to use trick then i would also recommend you change p-z to timid, as that way he can continue to sweep even without the scarf.

I'm intrigued by your jirachi / dragonite combination - it looks like it would work on paper, but i'm not too sure how well it does in practice. Btw you're pretty scizor weak by the look of things, an extra fire move somewhere would be quite nice.

LR.

Scizor completely murders your team. Most likely, it gets in on Porygon-Z, especially after it's revenge killed something. With a Swords Dance and Stealth Rock up, Life Orb Scizor can OHKO everything except Jirachi with Bullet Punch. Machamp has a good chance of surviving if at full health, but good luck at keeping it that way. Yes, Jirachi has Reflect and can live through an attack, but once your opponent realizes that your Jirachi can't do anything to Scizor, it doesn't matter. You can expect to switch Jirachi into a Swords Dance, and Scizor can Swords Dance again when you use Reflect. Then, you need to switch to something else to actually hurt Scizor, which is when it gets a third Swords Dance; that's functionally equivalent to having 1 Swords Dance and no Reflect. Swords Dance Lucario poses a similar issue, except it's arguably more threatening because it's faster. A Choice Scarf Rotom-H will remedy these problems while fulfilling largely the same function as Porygon-Z. If you want something a bit more stable, Heatran works, but opens up a Gyarados weakness; you have Wish support anyways, so Rotom-H should do fine.

This is a cool team, but it looks very Scizor weak. Jirachi is the only one who can really take a boosted punch, but all it can do is reflect. So... Machamp seems to be your weakest link, its only purpose to take status. It only really counter tyranitar, and maybe Weavile. So... A restalking Rotom, (H) in place of it would make a good Scizor counter.

Hmm... other than that, I just think Tyranitar should be jolly to outspeed Gengar / Azelf after a DD.

EDIT: Darn, Beaten by the Great Sage. Should have refreshed my page before posting.

I really like this team, and though I may be the 4th person to say this, a rotom h running this moveset:

timid @ choice scarf
4 hp/252 spa/252 speed
thunderbolt
shadow ball
overheat
trick

over PZ seems like this team would be near perfect.

Yep, Low Kick on your Machamp could be a good idea for a couple reasons:

1. It'd allow you to use Guts, making Low Kick usually more powerful then Dynamic Punch thanks to the boost granted by Sleep.

2. You'd rape the piss out of status even more, since Will-o-Wisps won't mean a free switch for your opponent.

3. You don't need to sleep every 2 second.
