Bye Excadrill

Since this team is useless now, I might aswell share it. Pretty sucessful team if you ask me.

Deoxys-S @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Shadow Ball
- Psycho Boost

Deoxys gets up the all important hazards that make it easier for Landorus too sweep with. Stealth Rocks is usually the first hazards I set up, due to it hitting just about everyone. Spikes is nice, and Deoxys usually gets at least SR + 1 layer of Spikes up. Psycho Boost is a great STAB, comparable to Draco Metoer, but with poor coverage. Shadow Ball removes the annoying Espeon who'd switch into to reflect hazards.

Excadrill (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin

Excadrill with Lefotvers. Excadrill more than anything plays a defensive role in this team. He functions in an offensive defensive core (lol). His great Electric and Rock resistances help out the trio. However Swords Dance does give him the ability to clean up late game. Rock Slide and Earthquake form the famous QuakeEdge combo. Rapid Spin is vital to the team, allowing an eaasier time for Gyarados. Excadrill can actually take a resisted hit, contrary to popular belief. He usually takes a couple of Stone Edge's during the game, and more often than not will play an integral role.

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Waterfall
- Roar

Part two of the trio. Gyarados provides a great physical wall and phazer for the team. He also serves as a status absorber. Rest and Sleep Talk look to abuse Roar, giving it 0 priority. It also heals him from all the damage he takes. Waterfall is his way of finishing off weakened threats. Roar is for abusing Deoxys hazards. Max defense max HP and Intimidate make him an awesome physcial wall.

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Protect
- Substitute
- Lava Plume
- Torment

FInal part of the trio. He sponges just about every special attack the game has to offer, much like Gyarados. TormentTran hasn't seen much usage for a while, and why I am uncertain. He forces so many switches IMO he doesn't need to run Roar. He fits perfectly in with a sand team, being part steel and dodging the damage from Sand. Protect and Substitute work to outstall and beat many common Heatran counters. Lava Plume cripples physical threats and is surprisingly strong. Torment is where all the magic is at.

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 64 Atk / 192 SAtk / 252 Spd
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Fire Blast
- Superpower

Scarf Tyranitar patches up a few problems. With Deoxys setting hazards TTar doesn't need to set up SR. Scarf was by far the superior set, allowing him to revenge stuff such as Volcarona. Set is pretty Standard. Fire Blast simply because I don't like running Pursuit, since it gives chance for Scizor/Lucario to set up.

Landorus (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- Smack Down
- Earthquake

Credits go to Dezza Laa for this set. By far the hardest Landorus set to counter. There is literally no counter to this set. Smack Down cripples Skarmory, Bronzong, Rotom-W, Gliscor, anything Flying, anything Levitating. Swords Dance and Substitute for powa and protection from status. Smack Down + EQ strategy is pretty standard. Sand Force is crazy with this set, making him near unstoppable at +2.

Well there is no point in rating this team, but i have to so I see Stall messing around with you because Skamory Walls half your team and Lucario can be dangerous for a few pokemon if Landorus is gone. You will be sweeped by Lucario after he gets +4 freely.

I thought I;d just share the team :). Skarmory can't really do anything to the team though, since Rapid Spin on Excadrill. I don't usually let Lucario set up to +4 :L. Most don't predict Scarf Tar and at +2, Landorus, Gyarados and Excadrill can handle.
