[OVERVIEW]
Calyrex-I is a deceptively dangerous sweeper in Ubers. Its amazing offensive profile consisting of a jaw-dropping Attack, Ice-typing, and Trick Room make it by far the biggest threat to Sticky Web teams as well as a fearsome threat in many other matchups. Despite its awful defensive typing, its incredible bulk makes it difficult to revenge kill and allows it to find a turn to set Trick Room, aided further by Terastallization. Calyrex-I itself is one of the best abusers of Terastallization thanks to how bulky and immediately strong it is. However, its viability is mostly tied to Trick Room, whose limited timeframe can prevent Calyrex-I from doing what it needs to if positioned around correctly. Additionally, finding multiple opportunities to set up can be quite challenging given its lack of recovery and awful defensive typing, which can make it a Tera hog in certain matchups. Regardless, Calyrex-I is quite threatening to unprepared teams and must be respected in both the builder and the battle, lest one suffer an icy loss.

[SET COMMENTS]
With Trick Room, Calyrex-I turns its low Speed into a benefit, turning the tables on many Pokemon it might otherwise struggle with, like Koraidon, Zacian-C, Miraidon, and Eternatus. Swords Dance allows Calyrex-I to blow past Pokemon it would otherwise struggle with, like Necrozma-DM, Ho-Oh, and Kyogre. High Horsepower and Glacial Lance provide great two-move coverage, hitting the entire tier for at least neutral damage. A Brave Nature with 0 Speed IVs makes Calyrex-I as fast as possible in Trick Room. Tera Fire provides a resistance to Fire and Steel and an immunity to burns, letting it set up on Koraidon, Zacian-C, and Ho-Oh.

Other Options
====
A Choice Band set with Tera Ice and Seed Bomb to destroy Kyogre and Arceus-Water can be used on hard Trick Room teams. However, this is inadvisable given how unreliable hard Trick Room teams are.
Checks and Counters
====
**Water-types**: Arceus-Water can easily take everything Calyrex-I can throw at it, has reliable recovery, and threatens Will-O-Wisp and super effective Judgement if Calyrex-I Terastallizes Fire to avoid Will-O-Wisp. While Kyogre must be wary of getting worn down, it can still take on unboosted Calyrex-I relatively well and threatens a strong Origin Pulse in return.
**Necrozma-DM**: While not a hard counter to Calyrex-I, defensive Necrozma-DM can easily take Glacial Lance while avoiding a 2HKO from High Horsepower. However, it is susceptible to being taken advantage of by Calyrex-I depending on its set.
**Calyrex-I**: Non-Tera Fire Calyrex-I resists Glacial Lance, does not take much from High Horsepower, and threatens to 2HKO Calyrex-I with +2 High Horsepower. However, it is susceptible to losing speed ties, and Tera Fire Calyrex-I cannot switch in to opposing Calyrex-I
**Ho-Oh**: While Ho-Oh falls to +2 Glacial Lance, Ho-Oh threatens Sacred Fire burns, forcing Calyrex-I to Terastallize, and its Whirlwind can phaze Calyrex-I before it can set up Trick Room.
