Good day, everyone! Last May 21, 12:00 NN GMT -4, the sixth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live has started, featuring challenger Tack :] and Iron Chef Dragonillis. Whose cuisine reigns supreme? Here are the results of the recently-concluded episode!

vs.
EPISODE 6: LIKE HUMANS DO
All teams must feature at least two Pokemon from the Humanlike egg group.

e06cr.png
Both of them incidentally used five of the same Pokemon, and their choices made it actually tough to judge in terms of this criterion. Eventually, the team on the right has the edge for having some nifty techs on select Pokemon such as putting in Whirlwind on Mew with Volt Switch, Haze on Corsola-Galar, and a defensive Electric/Fairy Clefable, as compared to the Whirlpool Corsola-Galar being the main draw from the team on the left.

e06es.png
Both of them used five identical Pokemon but they have branched out different approaches with the Conkeldurr + Bisharp duo and they actually excel. However, the team on the left gets the edge here because it is more proactive in finding opportunities for Conkeldurr and Bisharp to shine though this team really appreciates the Spike support the most, while the team on the right is a little more reactive due to the synergy the team has brought that a bit more momentum (at least giving Teleport on Clefable) would have given the secret ingredients to shine a little brighter.

e06ef.png
Both of them don't actually like Electric/Flying Mew variants; both their Clefable don't have Unaware to deal with it (most especially from the team on the right -- whose typing is actually enough to take those hits; Haze Galarian Corsola would have been nice if it weren't for its part-Grass typing) as Nasty Plot-boosted attacks will deal massive damage to it. The team on the left eventually gets the slight edge in this criterion because of his more proactive ways to deal with most archetypes.

Therefore, the winner of this episode, leading by only one point, is no other than...

Chef Tack :]!

Congratulations, Chef Tack, for winning the sixth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live! Your team will be posted in the results section of this thread.

Good day, everyone! Last May 24, 10:00 PM GMT -4, the seventh episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live has started, featuring challenger K3ppr and Iron Chef Jrdn. Whose cuisine reigns supreme? Here are the results of the recently-concluded episode!

vs.
EPISODE 7: OHANA
All teams must feature at least two Pokemon having (evolved from) a Regional variant.

e07cr.png
The team on the left uses a rather telegraphed strategy but has some twists in it like giving Steel Beam on Excadrill, Aura Sphere on Clangorous Soul Kommo-o, and arguably its main draw: Grudge on Alolan Ninetales. Sirfetch'd being rather uncommon in Camomons as well gives it a small bonus in that regard. The team on the right still has fresh ideas intact like Poison/Electric Bronzong with Levitate, Rapidash, Incineroar, and Cursola; however, this Chef recycles his trademark Reuniclus set and has a rather standard Defensive Mew set that prevented it from giving a perfect score in this criterion.

e07es.png
Both teams, despite their polarizing approaches, take advantage of the secret ingredient given to them extremely well. However, what prevented the team on the left to garner a high score compared to the team on the right is the use of Alolan Ninetales in which Grimmsnarl would arguably have been a better Screens user because of how telegraphed Hail + Aurora Veil is, and the use of Sirfetch'd that, while Sirfetch'd has some merits as a wall breaker (being able to cut through Ghost-types thanks to Scrappy), Haxorus would have fit in well too in this regard.

e07ef.png
The team on the right gives a great edge against the opposition due to how it covered almost all bases from the choices of walls, breakers, and set-up attackers. A rather slight flaw in the team is that Dragon Haxorus variants, while incredibly uncommon, might give it a hard time despite having some forms of counterplay. The team on the left, on the other hand, would eventually struggle to deal with the likes of Infiltrator Dragapult because of how its attacks bypasses Aurora Veil with relative ease, and opposing Weather teams mean K3ppr has to devise a plan B against such teams before setting up Aurora Veil, which would be a disadvantage early on (which, at that point, Grimmsnarl is actually consistent as a Screens user).

Therefore, the winner of this episode by a landslide -- leading by a total of 5.5 points, is no other than...

Iron Chef Jrdn!

Congratulations, Iron Chef Jrdn, for winning the seventh episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live! Your team will be posted in the results section of this thread.

Good day, everyone! Last May 27, 12:00 NN GMT -4, the seventh episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live has started, featuring challenger zioziotrip and Iron Chef Dragonillis. Whose cuisine reigns supreme? Here are the results of the recently-concluded episode!

vs.
EPISODE 8: HEART OF THE UNDERDOG
All teams must feature at least three Pokemon from NU and below.

e08cr.png
Both teams use the secret ingredients as the main draw for their creativity, and they have rather small bonuses for adding rather uncommon twists: the team on the left featuring Dragon/Poison Mew, and the team on the right featuring Fire/Steel Darmanitan.

e08es.png
The team on the right's choice of ingredients are more solid than the one on the left to a point that it gives an edge in this criterion: while Noctowl has some merits, Togekiss can perform Noctowl's role way better, and the Kantonian Rapidash is better than the Galarian variant due to Flash Fire giving it an additional Fire immunity. The team on the left looks actually fine for a stall team; however, Jirachi's offensive capabilities allow it to perform better than Clefairy despite being deceptively bulky, Johtonian Corsola appreciates Whirlpool more thanks to Toxic Spikes, and Quagsire's set might need a bit of an overhaul to properly tank Haxorus, one of the team's greatest weaknesses.

e08ef.png
The team on the left has so much trouble dealing with offensive Ground/Flying Mew variants (Earth Power + Hurricane or Earthquake + Brave Bird) and Earthquake Haxorus because the team's incredibly weak to Ground attacks; other than that, as said earlier, Corsola appreciates using Whirlpool as a way of compounding Poison damage alongside Toxic Spikes that would've been a great game-changer. The team on the right is generally solid but has to adhere to some adjustments reflective of the Essence criterion (Togekiss > Noctowl, Kantonian Rapidash > Galarian Rapidash).

Therefore, the winner of this episode by a landslide -- leading by a total of 4 points, is no other than...

Iron Chef Dragonillis!

Congratulations, Iron Chef Dragonillis, for (finally) winning the eighth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live! Your team will be posted in the results section of this thread.

Good day, everyone! Last May 29, 5:00 PM GMT -4, the ninth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live has started, featuring challenger Chessking345 and Iron Chef Funbot28. Whose cuisine reigns supreme? Here are the results of the recently-concluded episode!

vs.
EPISODE 9: GARGANTUAR
All teams must feature at least three Pokemon weighing in at 200 kg (440.9 lbs) and above.

e09cr.png
Both teams employ sets that are surprisingly common to use; with each of them having one Pokemon as their main draw and one minor detail deemed uncommon for everyone else, no one has the true edge in terms of this criterion. The team on the left features Lapras as the main draw alongside Wish Xatu, while the team on the right has Copperajah coupled with Ghost/Dark Jellicent.

e09es.png
The team on the right has the edge over the one on the left in terms of this criterion because it has a solid choice of ingredients that mesh well and cannot be replicated by any means necessary; not to mention Copperajah has elevated the secret ingredient to a whole new level thanks to Heavy Metal. The choice of secret ingredients on the left is fairly average at best, most especially because Lapras as a Water Absorber is outclassed with the likes of Vaporeon or Seismitoad; not to mention that its supporting cast is not optimal notably with Wish Xatu being way outclassed by Clefable.

e09ef.png
The team on the left has some concepts for a stall team intact, but the team choices leave a lot to be desired: a lot of offensive Pokemon will definitely take advantage of this team's dismal type synergy (especially with the lack of back-up Water resists). The team on the right is fairly solid without any glaring flaws in terms of match-up, however, this would have employed a speedy Calm Mind user to take advantage of the burns from Will-O-Wisp, or the defensive backbone would have used Toxic over Will-O-Wisp to set Specially Offensive Mew on a timer, and Jellicent should've used Hex over Night Shade to take advantage of the team's status stacking strategy.

Therefore, the winner of this episode by a landslide -- leading by a total of 5.5 points, is no other than...

Iron Chef Funbot28!

Congratulations, Iron Chef Funbot28, for winning the ninth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live! Your team will be posted in the results section of this thread.

Good day, everyone! Last June 1, 12:00 NN GMT -4, the tenth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live has started, featuring challenger OM and Iron Chef Dragonillis. Whose cuisine reigns supreme? Here are the results of the recently-concluded episode!

vs.
EPISODE 10: CELLS AT WORK
All teams must cover at least eight immunities by virtue of the team's modded typings and/or abilities.

e10cr.png
The team on the left featured Bellossom as its main draw in terms of creativity, coupled with some uncommon ones like Orbeetle, and unusual sets from Tyranitar (serving as a lure vs. Water/Flying mons) and Choice Band Mew. The team on the right, however, has rather recycled some of his sets from the previous episode that makes its score in this criterion decreased (such as Whirlwind Mew, Electric/Fairy Clefable, and Fighting/Flying Keldeo), meaning Flygon is the team's main draw in terms of its creativity.

e09es.png
The team on the right gets the edge in this criterion despite having half of his team recycled from the previous episode as to how he takes advantage not just in counting the type immunities it has, but also in stacking such immunities to take as minimal damage as possible. While the team on the left has actually exceeded the number of type immunities (which is nice), it didn't bring the most out of the chosen Pokemon: Haxorus or Mew would work over Tyranitar as the Dragon Dancer; and Tyranitar as the key wall breaker (or Haxorus) will work wonders in this scenario -- to name a few.

e10ef.png
Both teams at face value have a hard time dealing with offensive (Electric/Flying or Ground/Flying) Mew variants; as such getting a rather below average score in this criterion. The team on the left, given its composition, is rather confusing to look at: while somehow beneficial from Sticky Web, it may actually be better off without it because of how these set-up attackers are actually slow and fast Pokemon would outrun them initially -- even with Sticky Web on; it may be more geared towards Balance than Offense due to the presence of Coalossal, which is definitely a momentum-breaker. The team on the right, on the other hand, sticks to his trusted solid team identity; to deal with the offensive Mew variants, Unaware Clefable would've been the better choice (again) to deal with Electric/Flying variants, and Flygon would have been better off using Rock/Dark to deal with Ground/Flying ones.

Therefore, the winner of this episode -- leading by a total of 3 points, is no other than...

Iron Chef Dragonillis!

Congratulations, Iron Chef Dragonillis, for winning the tenth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live! Your team will be posted in the results section of this thread.

Good day, everyone! Last June 4, 7:00 PM GMT -4, the eleventh episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live has started, featuring challenger Mark K and Iron Chef Funbot28. Whose cuisine reigns supreme? Here are the results of the recently-concluded episode!

vs.
EPISODE 11: SPARE CHANGE
All teams must feature at least three Pokemon whose BST is not divisible by 5.

1591415700759.png
The first team features Maractus as its main draw in terms of its creativity; it also has Hex Toxtricity that has somehow been gaining traction lately, and Acrobatics Mew with Sitrus Berry and Gravity. Conversely, the second team features Choice Band Farfetch'd as the most uncommon pick coupled with Stallbreaker Kommo-o being the most uncommon set to have used.

1591415724124.png
Both teams actually managed to use the secret ingredient proficiently to warrant a high score in this criterion. However, the second team gets the edge here for making the most out of the secret ingredient with Hex Dragapult being capable of cleaning up once the secret ingredients have done its job. What prevents our challenger's team from granting a perfect score in this criterion is that as much as Hex Toxtricity has merits as a Hex user, there are probably better users of Hex such as Dragapult and Gengar.

1591415746378.png
The first team lacks some form of answers to Special Ground/Flying Mew except for hoping for a Hurricane miss. While there's some form of counterplay by virtue of Scarf Celebi, stacking too many Ground-types for this team may be a bit too much that it may needs some more prompt answers. On the other hand, the second team needs Unaware on the Clefable set in order to deal with most boosted attackers. That means, this team has to deal with Dragon Dance Ground/Flying Mew in which the defensive Mew can be capable of checking but could get overwhelmed in the long run. Other than that, no other weaknesses sprung into mind with this team; hence the fairly high score in this criterion.

Therefore, the winner of this episode -- leading by a total of 2 points, is no other than...

Iron Chef Funbot28!

Congratulations, Iron Chef Funbot28, for winning the eleventh episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live! Your team will be posted in the results section of this thread.

Good evening, everyone! Last June 6th, 12:00 NN GMT -4, the twelfth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live has started, featuring challenger Altthiel and special guest Iron Chef Euphonos . Whose cuisine reigns supreme? Here are the results of the recently-concluded episode!
vs.
EPISODE 12: SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED
Our chefs must use 3 Pokemon with abilities that are unique to their evolutionary line, along with their ‘signature’ ability. (list of usable Pokemon and their abilities https://pastebin.com/eN7LajeU)
1591582808257.png
The first team features Cramorant as its main form of creativity, though the unique ideas continue with interesting typing choices of Salazzle and Weezing-Galar that utilize a unique idea of Toxic stalling. Alternatively, the second team utilizes unique typings of more common Pokemon such as Steel/Flying Dhelmise, while also having a creative choice of Electric/Poison Goodra.

1591582824909.png
Both of these teams received perfect scores here, they were both impressive in this sense. The first team's choice of Salazzle to spread Toxic to almost any Pokemon, paired with Weezing-Galar to neutralize Magic Guard or any other ability that could block Poison damage is not only a creative idea, but is the perfect example of what this challenge was aimed for. The second team also uses the secret ingredient really well, and the choices used would be very difficult to replicate.

1591582844713.png
The first team has some really interesting ideas, but falls short in a lot of places. General lack of speed control and little to no answers to common threats like Haxorus, Conkeldurr, and others leave the team weak to offense, while bulkier teams can threaten with either Taunt or Heal Bell. Additionally, the lack of a Dark resist leaves the team vulnerable to Knock Off or any physical Dark-type Pokemon. While the second team does share some similar weaknesses, particularly the weakness to Conkeldurr, this team has outs that enable it to save poor match-ups. One of the bigger weaknesses of this team is the lack of a solid Ground resist outside of Mew, which could potentially be overwhelmed, even with Ice Beam. In addition to a weakness to Ground-type attacks, Sand is a tough match-up for this team as it cuts the recovery for Necrozma and Dhelmise. However, the team does have an effective breaker and speed control option in Hex Dragapult with Toxic Spikes support to help wear down teams, and therefore receives a higher score here.

Therefore the winner, leading by just half a point, is none other than...

Iron Chef Euphonos
Congratulations, Iron Chef Euphonos, for winning the twelfth episode of Camomons Iron Chef Live! Your team will be posted in the results section of this thread.

Thank you all for tuning in to the twelfth episode of Iron Chef and for having me as Interim Chairman! I'll be passing the mic back to Chairman Euphonos, so expect an announcement from them soon!

This marks the official conclusion of (the inaugural season of) Camomons Iron Chef Live. I would like to thank the Other Metagames community for the overwhelming support which made me want to run more projects here, or to run another season of Camomons Iron Chef soon.

First of all, I would like to thank the Live 12 for spending insurmountable amounts of time waiting for their turn and for squeezing an hour of their time to build their teams with their heart and soul, and these are: Whitephoenixace, Ho3nConfirm3d, Poison Adhesive, Sylveon., Karl Dude Guy, Tack :], K3ppr, zioziotrip, Chessking345, OM, Mark K, and Altthiel. Next, I would like to thank the people whom they have responded to the Chairman's call while the preparations for this project are going on, and they are the Iron Chefs: Dragonillis, Funbot28 (press E♯ to pay respects), and most especially, Jrdn, who filled to rate the teams in the final episode. Speaking of the Panel of Judges, great thanks to Chazm and In The Hills for providing me more insights with their teams, and without your help, this project would've been extremely rough as I would not pinpoint some of the weaknesses and strengths the teams have on my own (and not to mention In The Hills for filling in the role as the Interim Chairman for the last episode).

Here's to the long-lasting success of the Camomons Iron Chef, to future generations and beyond!
