can Hippowdon wall Heracross well?

I know Gliscor can and can AA back, and Weezing and Skarm can wall Hera well, but what about the sand hippo?

Hippowdon has high defenses and high hp, but it doesn't resist anything but Stone Edge. Any experiences or opinions out there?

Hippowdon can't really damage Heracross, and it's only neutral to Close Combat which means it really can't counter it.
