Can I get someone banned for using homosexual slurs in a battle?

So below I included screenshots. This guy needs to be banned, we don't need this insensitive crap when were just trying to have fun. Being frustrated is not an excuse. My roommate is gay, he's one of my best friends, sometimes he watches me battle. If he had been watching while this guy thoughtlessly decided to send those I can't begin to describe how much that would've hurt him. I tried to find the proper place to post this but couldn't find anything so sorry if I missed that.

I suggest PMing a Driver or Moderator on the server so we can sort something out in real time. It's much easier than on the forums. For an incident such as that, I suggest using the 'Ignore spectators' feature by clicking the gear in the top-right corner when in battle.

You have to just deal with it bro. There are hundreds of users who are like this daily. Mods will prob just tell you to /ignore them. Hopefully they dont change accounts and continue to harass you. I would suggest not responding at all so they would know you dont care about what they say.
I think the ignore spectators only work on people who arent involved in the battle.
Remember, this is the internet.

I would say you could be banned for using anything hateful if the right admin gets told of it but only if they keep doing it after a complaint. Talking trash a few times between turns is fine if it's only insulting the player's teambuild or dumb attack choice. And as a rule of thumb use (BAN ME PLEASE) over (BAN ME PLEASE) and gay, it's also the name for cigarettes and South Park did an episode on Biker Gangs with it so it could be used more often.
