Can somebody please tell me what UU Room is?

Okay, I admit it. I have been lurking on this forum!

I made a username just so I could ask this question. While looking up if my new favorite pokemon received any new moves in D/P (Dunsparce), I see that he is very useful in "UU Room". But what is it?!

Thanks so much, and now I may try and contribute to these boards more often. lol

I think you've somehow mixed "UU", which means underused and is what people are guessing he'll be, and "Trick Room", which is a move that makes slower pokemon go first, helping offset Dunsparce's low speed.

If not, a link to the post/website would help..

Here is a link the the page I saw it used.

Shadow Ball is really only there to hit Ghosts, and with repeated special defence drops, it can trigger a switch later on. Rock Slide is primarily there to take out the common Jumpluff, Fearow and Swellow, but if you decide to risk using Dunsparce outside of UU, you may be able to score a kill against Skarmory... something I have managed to do with this Dunsparce many times.

Everyone loves Dunsparce, but no one loves to be on the receiving end of it's haxing skills. I believe he is always a good choice for a UU team

These exerts are from the opening and opinion sections, respectivly.

Thanks for all your help by the way! :D

So people make "UU" teams? Sheesh, I have so much to learn about competive play. lol.

How does one find out about these different "team" rules?

The team rules are pretty simple.

In an Uber team, anything goes. A Team is labelled an Uber team the moment there is an Uber in it.

In an OverUsed team, everything goes except the Ubers.

In a BorderLine team (Rarely seen), You can use everything in Borderline, Underused and Neverused.

In an Underused team, you can only use Underused and Neverused pokes.

So I guess from that you can determine whats in a NU team, aye?
