SM OU Can somebody rate my team?

Porygon2 eviolite
Ability: download
Nature: quiet
Ev's: 126 Spd/126 spdef/126 def/126 spatk
- Trick room
- Recover
- Shadow ball
- Ice beam

I chose Porygon2 because of its bulk and it's useful special attack. My team will mostly be used for battle spot in trick room, and porygon2 is your go-to trick room setter. I prefer shadow ball over thunderbolt because i'll be using vikavolt and I don't have anything to handle marowak otherwise.

Vikavolt wiki berry
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Quiet
Ev's: 252 hp/252 sp atk/ 4 sp def
- Thunderbolt
- Volt switch
- Energy ball
- Bug buzz

I chose Vikavolt because it's very good in trick room and because of its insane special attack stat. I'll be using him as a sweeper. Bug buzz and thunderbolt are used for obvious reasons and volt switch might come in handy as well. Energy ball is to hit ground types. (Open to suggestions for this moveset in particular.) I'm considering removing vikavolt from my team and replacing it with heatran because vikavolt does the same as drampa and heatran suits the metagame better.

Drampa @normalium z
Ability: Berserk
Nature: Quiet
Ev's: 252 sp atk/ 252 hp/ 4 sp def
-Dragon pulse
-Hyper voice
-Flamethrower
-Roost

Same story as for vikavolt. Functions well under trick room and hits really hard. Mostly neutral, obviously. Hyper voice mostly for hitting through substitutes and flamethrower for coverage. I prefer dragon pulse over dragon meteor here because of the special attack drop, and since I really want to use it as a sweeper and keep it in battle for a while, I think dragon pulse is better.

Metagross Metagrossite
Ability: Tough claws
Nature: adamant
Ev's: 252 atk/ 252 hp/ 4 def
- Meteor mash
- Earthquake
- Rest
- Sleep talk

I chose metagross because of the tapu's and other fairies that roam the metagame. Metagross gets rid of them easily. Also, the rest of my team is specially offensive and metagross is used to balance this out a little. Rest- sleep talk has worked out for my metagross for a few years already and its no longer expected because most people run something else nowadays.

Torkoal Leftovers
Ability: Drought
Nature: Bold
Ev's: 252 def/ 128 hp/ 128 sp atk
- Eruption
- Amnesia
- Yawn
- Solar beam

I chose torkoal because of its physical bulk which my team lacks. It will he used as my physical wall, but with a few amnesia's becomes a special wall, too. Yawn forces switch-outs and solar beam under drought provides powerful coverage. Eruption under drought hits hard as well.

Venusaur Black Sludge
Ability: Overgrow
Nature: Quiet
Ev's: 252 sp atk/ 128 hp/128 sp def
- Giga drain
- Leech seed
- Sludge bomb
- Sleep powder

I chose venusaur to take on the tapu's. It absolutely destroys them, especially with his specially defensive bulk. It will mostly be used as a special wall. Sleep powder can be used to catch switch-ins off guard. The moveset is pretty standard here.

Hey
i have a lot of trick room experience in the past, and i do not think that this team will work for the pure reason that trick room does expire. You need to either a.) Add some speedy Pokémon that work after trick room or b.) and trick room on some other mons.

Yeah, one TR setter isn't a good choice as it will have to consistently switch in and risk 2 hits. Yes, Porygon2 is super bulky, but repeated strong hits will overwhelm it. If it loses its eviolite, which it will do due to how common Knock Off is, you'll have quite a bit of trouble. So I recommend using Mimikyu over Vikavolt. You have four slow TR-abusers on your team at the moment, but none can hit physically. I am suggesting Mimikyu because a) great utility with Will-o-wisp and Trick Room b) hits quite hard and c) disguise will almost guarantee TR is set up.
Mimikyu @ Life Orb
Ability: Disguise
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Trick Room
- Shadow Sneak / Wood Hammer
- Play Rough
- Shadow Claw

Also, you've posted in the wrong section, this should be in 'other teams' not SM OU.

Thank you. I realize your right and already made a lot of adaptions to the team after trying it.

Would something like garchomp work? What would you recommend? (I have little experience when it comes to teambuilding)

ScarfChomp would be quite a good choice, very speedy and with or without rocks can even give you another lead option. I do not have a set on me, but just do a search for scarfchomp or even look on this thread and there will be a set there I guarantee.

Thanks. I'll come up with a garchomp set myself soon. I'll try it out.
