HEY SMOGON
I started playing on showdown and I made a team that works pretty well. I was wondering if someone can take a look and help patch up any holes that they see. My goal of this team was to keep it simple, so i got two walls at first, one scarf user, one specs user, one band user and one life orb user. I changed the team a little and came up with a more polished product.
So the team goes as follows:
CroCune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 hp/252 def/ 4 spd
Bold nature
-Substitute
-Calm Mind
-Scald
-Ice Beam
My only setup pokemon. Is a huge threat and i found that out the hard way. Walls really well and fires back even better after a few CM.
Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
Evs: 252 atk/ 4 def/ 252 spe
Jolly nature
-Megahorn
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
My revenge killer. Scarf works really well with moxie in my opinion, making him a great sweeper once checks are down.
Flygon @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 atk/ 4 def/ 252 spe
Jolly nature
-Outrage
-Fire Punch
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
Don't really have a purpose for this one, but i love its power and it scouts pretty well despite being banded. Replaceable but I still want to keep the power or increase it.
Kingdra @ Choice Specs
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 spa/ 4 def/ 252 spe
Modest nature
-Draco Meteor
-Hydropump
-Ice Beam
-HP Grass
This is a huge threat to those who aren't prepared and has often cleaned up teams after special walls and bulky water types are out of the way. It is also my biggest fire resistance which can become a problem with my team.
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 hp/ 252 def/ 4 spd
Impish nature
-Toxic
-Protect
-Stealth Rock
-Gyro Ball
Basic physical wall for setting up rocks. I'm debating on making this a special wall and maybe changing the move set. My biggest problem with him are fire types which often lead to me having to fodder something later on in the game if my water types go down.
Roserade @ Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 hp/ 120 def/ 136 spd
Calm nature
-Spikes
-Rest
-Giga Drain
-Sludge Bomb
Spikes user and good staller and wall. Has also had little cleanups on teams and is a really handy poke, only downside is Roserade's susceptibility to fire types and physical attackers.
Like I said the team has average success. Positive and negative comments are welcome and feel free to suggest any changes. My goal is to reach the top 100.
Thanks in advance :)
