Serious Can we try to be more conscious of how we talk to each other?

So I know I've been posting a lot recently and I'm sorry. I'll stop for a while after this one, but I felt like this must be said.

As most of you have seen, we had a thread on this forum entitled "F**ck you all" and in it contained a suicidal person complaining about how rude people are on this site. What is more frustrating is that a user began to joke about suicide, only proving his point. The person who made the post is now banned and to be honest, that worries me. I hope he is okay and doesn't do anything rash, but doesn't this make you think? It's so easy to type out a rude message to a person you can't even see, but regardless, this is a person you are talking to. We don't know their life circumstances and how awful would it be if our idiotic and douchey comment sent them the deep end? I know I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Another thing, it's actually very cowardly to pick on someone over the internet. With all this said, I hope I saved some lives and wish you a good day.

I get picking on weak users, I've done it for years. But if this is how people treat a perfect stranger, regardless of whether they think it's a troll or not, then I no longer wish to be a part of this place.
