Hi. This is a rather average team but they are still quite strong and they have won 1 battle and lost 1 too. Rate and comment please. They are all level 100.
Thanks!

The Team

The Lead
infernape.png

Infernape(M)@ Focus Sash
Ability:Blaze
EV's:252SPA/252SPE/4HP
Nature:Rash
Flamethrower
Overheat
Close Combat
Stealth Rock

He has to be one of the most powerful pokemon in my team. He can set up stealth rock first with his sort of good speed and he has focus sash so he'll be able to hang on and with blaze and his amazing special attack his fire moves (especially overheat) will be even more powerful. He has close combat aswell so he can knock out some other pokemon if he's lucky.

The Special Sweeper
jolteon.png

Jolteon(M)@ Choice Specs
Ability:Volt Absorb
EV's:252SPE/252SPA/4HP
Nature:Hasty
Thunderbolt
Thunder
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power[Grass]

Definetly without a doubt the best pokemon in my team. He has high speed and high special attack and choice specs helps me a lot with that. He can stand his ground easily even with ground types since he has hidden power[grass]. His thunderbolt is against just plain flying types but thunder is to deal with dragon/flying types. His shadow ball for phycic, ghost types ect. But apart from all this he is a great pokemon.

The Special Wall
blastoise.png

Blastoise(M)@ Leftovers
Ability:Torrent
EV's:252SPD/252HP/4DEF
Nature:Sassy
Hydro Pump
Surf
Ice Beam
Rapid Spin

Not the best pokemon in the world but by all means not a bad pokemon. His amazing special defence helps a whole lot and he has decent defence too. His hydro pump is to deal with pokemon that have quite strong special defence. Surf is to deal with the usuall pokemon types-fire, rock, ground you know. Ice beam is for grass and dragon types and rapid spin is to deal with all those stealth rocks flying around lately. Eletric types are a real worry but I can switch him out if that happens.

The Mixed Sweeper
sceptile.png

Sceptile(M)@ Life Orb
Ability:Overgrow
EV's:252SPE/252SPA/4ATK
Nature:Naive
Leaf Storm
Leaf Blade
X-Scissor
Dragon Pulse

How the hell is he "under used"?! He has amazing speed, really good special attack and good attack and with life orb, it makes his attacks even better so I think some people may want to re-consider him. His leaf storm is only for emergency's because you now the recoil of leaf storm so it is only for emergency's. Leaf blade is for the usuall types but you know them. X-scissor is just a move I shuffed in to deal with dark, phycic types but it can deal with his own type too. Dragon pulse is a move to deal with dragon types. Fire types and flying types are the real issues so he'll would have to make a run for it if they appear.

The Physical Wall
gliscor.png

Gliscor(M)@ Choice Band
Ability:Hyper Cutter
EV's:252DEF/252HP/4ATK
Nature:Lax
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Stone Edge
Thunder Fang

A true powerhouse to my team. I know some of you might think his nature is a bit worrying but I haven't had any problems with it. Choice band is a really good item for him. It gives aerial ace and thuner fang a real kick and that really helps since they are weak moves. Earthquake-again-deals with the usual types. Aerial ace for those ice types. Stone edge is just for fun really. And thunder fang is for water types. Aerial ace and thunder fang are his main moves since his can deal with his only two weaknesses-ice and water. So he can really stand his ground

The Physical Sweeper
staraptor.png

Staraptor(M)@ Choice Scarf
Ability:Intimidate
EV's:252ATK/252SPE/4HP
Nature:Lonely
Fly
Brave Bird
Take Down
Close Combat

A rather worrying pokemon of my team due to his low defense but with his high speed he'll be able to attack first always and with his high attack he might be able to give one or two K/O's. His fly is there because I might want him to dodge an attack. Brave bird packs quite a punch but I can only use it once or twice due to the large amount of HP it takes away. Take down is to deal with pokemon that aren't really worth waisting PP for. Close combat is to deal with rock types and snorlax's but you rarely see them in a battles anymore. The only worrying thing about him really is his nature but my opponent would be lucky if he even gets a hit in.

Well there's the team. Please don't be too rough on me because I have just got the team sorted and it took a really long while. If you have a few pointers for me that would be great thanks.

I think you should switch one of Jolteons electric attacks for signal beam-it doesn't give you much extra coverage, but it helps a little.

Staraptor's move set needs some work. Ruturn is better in every scenario in comparison to takedown. Fly being used for dodging attaks is questionable because protect does the same thing only it has priority. However since your Staraptor is a revenge killer it shouldn't need to dodge attacks. Try U-turn or Pursuit. Pursuit would be the preferable option as it has more of a revenge killer mentallity, but U-Turn can be used to scout. Close Combat is perfect for steels so don't change that.

On to your Gliscor. You serously need to put Roost on it. It increases his durability and gets rid of that annoying flying type for a turn. Even though you say thunderfang is good I would disagree as most offensive waters would OHKO with ice beam anyway. Why not put Roost there. I also recomend putting off Arial Ace for something like Knock Off, or another utility move as your team really does lack utility. Knock off can be a real pain for people and can reveal alot about an opponents team. U may only have two offensive moves now but the EARTH ROCK combo provides plenty coverage for something that is meant to be a wall.

You may want to replace Blastoise for Tentecruel as he can take on Mixape (something that you really shouldn't be able to take out without sacraficing a pokemon) with success. He can also rapid spin, set up Toxic Spikes, and his STAB combo provides reasonalbly good offense when coupled with his above average Sp. Atk. I realize Blastoise may be one of your favorites but at least try it out.

Oh and your natures are a little funny.
Jolteon should be TIMID
For Blastoise is sasser really necessary? The only way it would help you out is against a Gyro Ball which Blastoises resist. A CALM nature would be mor practical (or you could switch to Tentecruel in which case still use CALM)
Gliscor should run IMPISH as it needs all the defenses it can get, but if you say you don't have problems then OK, just a suggestion.
Staraptor should run an ADAMANT or JOLLY nature

NOW FOR MY COMPLIMENTS:
Kudos on using unique pokemon. I only rate teams as awsome as yours because rating the same old Lucario sweeper teams and Scizor teams is friken boring. Your team was suprisingly fun to rate.

Congrats on your Creativity with Sceptile. I can see the useful situations it could be used in. Cool stuff.

Staraptor should be used more often, you and I both see that, but every other person doesn't, so we'll keep that to ourselves ;)

Well, you've only played two battles, so I suggest you test out your team more.

Ill start with Infernape: to be an effective Anti-lead, it MUST have Fake out. and whats with the rash nature? Follow this set

Infernape@Focus Sash
Naive Nature
64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe

~ Fake Out
~ Stealth Rock
~ Fire Blast
~ Close Combat / Encore

You could consider vacuum wave in the last slot, but I prefer close combat for damage.

Jolteon: please use a timid nature. also, replace thunder for baton pass. Dry passing can both help scout and pass a good Special attack boost to another sweeper.

Blastoise: blastoise is not the right pokemon to be running 3 attacks on it. Rather, go with Toxic or Protect over hydro pump. And use a bold nature.

Gliscor: a physical wall without roost? roost is an essential if u plan on using gliscor. Furthermore, follow this Defensive set:

Gliscor @ Leftovers
252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
Impish Nature
~ Earthquake
~ Roost
~ Stealth Rock
~ Stone Edge / Aerial Ace

You can decide on the last slot. 216 Speed EVs allow Gliscor to outspeed all non-Choice Scarf Heatran and neutral natured Lucario.

gl with the team.

Thanks for the help everybody i'll take your comments on board but im going to keep blastoise and im going to keep their natures because i cant be bothered breeding again but i see that i really need to change their moves

If you want to keep your mixed sweeper as Sceptile, I suggest this set:

Sceptile(M)@ Life Orb
Ability:Overgrow
EV's:176 SPE/ 80SPA/ 252ATK
Nature:Naive
-Leaf Storm
-Leaf Blade
-Focus Blast/earthquake
-Earthquake/x-scizzor

Focus Blast and Earthquake overall provide better coverage. You can consider X-Scizzor over Earthquake, but then I suggest Earthquake over Focus Blast.

hey buddy...Get Rid of Thunder on Jolteon for Signal Beam since it has shitty acc and shitty coverage...also Sceptile is pretty outclassed in OU. A better special sweeper would have to be a Mixmence

Salamence @ Leftovers
Naive Nature
252 Spd 242 Sp Atk 16 Atk

~Draco Meteor
~Fire Blast
~Outrage
~Earthquake

that'll hit harder and better :)
