Chuggalong chugs along the train tracks of SV CAP! With +2 Special Attack and a +1 bonus in every other stat thanks to Throat Spray and Clangorous Soul alongside high base Special Attack and Speed, Chuggalong is a great setup sweeper and cleaner. Clanging Scales silences Dragon-types like Dragapult and Roaring Moon, while Sludge Wave melts Fairy-types like Cresceidon and Hemogoblin. Surf washes away pesky Ground-types like Gliscor and Fire-types like Heatran. Tera Water removes Chuggalong's weaknesses to Dragon and Ground, giving it more setup opportunities, and lets it take out Ground-types like Ting-Lu and Equilibra after some chip damage with STAB Surf. Chuggalong has a hard time breaking through walls like Arghonaut and Galarian Slowking, meaning teammates that can handle them like Ogerpon-W and Kingambit, respectively, are greatly appreciated. Iron Moth is also a fantastic partner since it can force chip damage on shared checks like Ting-Lu and Equilibra, putting Chuggalong in a better position to sweep.

Chuggalong has a hard time breaking through walls like Arghonaut and Galarian Slowking, meaning teammates that can handle them like Ogerpon-W and Kingambit, respectively, are greatly appreciated. (I'd also mention Iron Moth as another good teammate as they can power through their shared checks like forcing chip on the aforementioned Ground-types)
