It's game time everyone! I expect all matches to be played at the highest caliber and have at least 3 bingo slots filled in by the end of the week.

Please be sure to follow all rules listed here. Managers and players are expected to schedule with their opponent(s) actively, or seek substitutions if needed. For substitutes, please contact myself alongside the opposing player and their managers in the thread, and wherever else necessary. Matches not completed by the deadline are subject to an activity call. Replays are mandatory, if you cannot save a replay, make sure someone else can: playing on the Smogtours server is an easy way to ensure matches can be recorded properly, and is recommended in general.

The deadline for this week is Sunday, June 16th at 11:59 GMT-4.

SV CAP: Kate vs Fc - fc had a great showing in sv just a few months ago, probably just in better form asw with wcop and spl and whatnot. i remember kate loading a lot of really weird stuff in prior cap tours, which can def be a double edged sword, but there's a world where fc gets caught off guard with something wacky
SV CAP: avarice vs autumn - wouldn't be shocked in the slightest to see autumn win this one, between two pilots like this i think it's probably just a motivation & effort game w1 to get comfortable playing the new meta, but i rate dillion a little higher as a player
SV CAP: Lizzie vs Ina fable - i think liz is great but i'm admittedly not super familiar with them outside of a uu context and i know ina has a cap tour already under their belt (albeit in a different tier but still)
SS CAP: dex vs Gtcha - closer than it looks; honestly gtcha is just in a different echelon of skill here and that's gonna be a hard wall for dex to climb, but dex is great in his own right and frequently punches above his weight, he's in his favorite tier, think his greatest strength is his building so just a matter of bringing interesting ideas and hoping they land
SM CAP: Tace vs adem - not 100% sure what tace's sm support looks like on this team, i assume dex and velvet which is nb at all, but if he's got some people to explain the tier a bit and pass him strong teams then i think he farms this whole pool
ORAS CAP: gorex vs Meta-Knight - really cool to see spammer starting w1, he has a great mindset and i think he's 100% gonna pop off at some point, however this is a p rough matchup to draw w1; gorex is a good friend of mine and knows this tier well, lots of experience playing it, i know he can build if he actually cares too, as long as he doesnt load a cm water type into mollux or some shit again then i think he's favored. would be happy to be proved wrong here
BW CAP: Monai vs tier - i don't know bw! whoops! two great players here, tier is obv more proven in bw cap specifically but i reckon monai has a higher ceiling
DPP CAP: TyCarter vs Piyu - really interesting to see piyu in dpp LOL idk i've seen this guy play everything and he wins most of the time so i'm bolding him here but i think ty still walks away with a great record this season, he was high on my dpp list pre-draft

SV CAP: Mada vs Kaif - i predict the 1v1ers will have a far better grasp on SV than the italians (granted maybe not right away in w1) but mada has kinda been winning nonstop in cap lately and i think he's a stronger player in general. kaif's my dawg tho would love to see him take this 1
SV CAP: Sylveon used calm mind vs Potatochan - potato's a top 3 or 4 SV in this tour, will also repeat myself that i think the 1v1ers meta reads will win out
SV CAP: justdrew vs zioziotrip - same as the above but to an even greater degree, zio's like 1st or 2nd in my rankings and i usually agree with his very opinionated takes, great builder great pilot etc
SS CAP: Fogbound Lake vs lolebruh - fog gaps everyone in this tier idk man
SM CAP: ChrisPBacon vs Satanic Beast - predicting the "upset", was impressed with edgar's sm results when i scouted him and chris is probably not as motivated nor in his best tier
ORAS CAP: Maxouille vs tears - max is pretty hit or miss but i know he's a great pilot when he wants to be. the other guy wins a lot of 1v1 games but i am unsure how much 6v6 / oras ou experience he has. would make a ghosting joke here but i will try not to be rude
BW CAP: Micaiah vs RADU - rate micaiah v highly in this tier and just not as familiar with radu, though ik zio and probably potato can support bw cap fairly well
DPP CAP: Laurel vs Nuxl - two nonmainers, laurel is a dpp spl starter so i think i will perhaps go with him

SV CAP: Baddy vs Joeshh - joe for 25k is a little od but the guy is obviously great, baddy and joe are probably on a similar-ish skill tier to one another but joe has the benefit of much more cap exp which will matter a lot vs nonmainers in early weeks
SV CAP: Elfuseon vs Habaduh - think elf is just better but i'll be honest idk much about habaduh, could be a sleeper goat and elfu is supposedly quite busy these days so who knows
SV CAP: RTM vs Atha - idt i've seen atha play sv cap yet? i think he is better than his opponent here, but rtm is another guy i don't know v well anyways
SS CAP: Rage.Spam.Quit. vs Dj Breloominati♬ - rsq vs arnav was about to be a match straight out of cappl 7, was lowkey excited for it but now i am excited for a different reason bc spitfire is great too! spit told me the other day that rsq is one of the peple who randomly turn into lebron james when they play each other, the games are always very close and very hard, i expect this one to be no different but i think dj still takes it
SM CAP: Mimikyu Stardust vs pannu - pannu back in his home tier, very cool, i rate him v highly if he cares
ORAS CAP: roxie vs Steam Buns - my rank nr1 in oras this season. if he's able to find people to test with & bounce ideas off of (aka not get burnt out trying to do everything by himself like last time) then buns is the guy to beat in oras this year

SV CAP: Lizzie vs Ina fable- significantly more familiar with ina than liz
SS CAP: dex vs Gtcha- excited to see gtcha play, Dex will make this super hard tho. think he's gonna cook something up extremely crazy
SM CAP: Tace vs adem- extremely fire player IMO and velv support should be a fun pairing fs
ORAS CAP: gorex vs Meta-Knight- like spammer a lot, surprised to see him in ORAS. think he can be fire by the end of the tour but this is a rough w1 matchup against someone w/a lot of exp

ORAS CAP: roxie vs Steam Buns- he is freed from DPPrison and ready to load (spins roulette wheel) choice band mollux this time
BW CAP: TGA vs triple axel blaze- i won't bold anyone playing against TGA except my own players he will win
DPP CAP: innovamania vs Ainzcrad- on paper I think this team has some of the best dpp support in the pool, ainz has had prior success in a CAPCL tho I think? lot of pressure on Innova considering price tag asw, which could make for a really fun season to watch
 
Late But here are my BW/DPP Predicts

BW CAP: Monai vs tier
I think Monai makes more consistent plays and has a more consistent playstyle in the generation. Depending on how much effort he puts into his BW CAP I think he can do very well this tour.

BW CAP: Micaiah vs RADU
Micaiah at least has some sort of familiarity with the tier and has Max support, whereas RADU does have Dex and Waldinjy support, who aren’t as consistent players in the tier I can see this going either way but leaning more towards Mic.

BW CAP: Nalorium vs Brigtel
Although Brig has more overall experience in CAP, I’d probably highlight Nalorium regardless of the game having already happened. He just has a lot more BW experience in general and did decent in SPL.

DPP CAP: Violet river vs Sheik :
This one is a flip, I think both players are morivated and doing very well in the general tournament scene right now. Violet probably has more motivated support on her team though which is why she’s bolded. I think this will be a close match and probably a highlight for the week.

DPP CAP: Laurel vs Nuxl
I’m not really aware of Nuxl as a player, I fw the Charmander avatar though. I know Laurel is a very established DPP player, so I’m just going with the safe bet here.

DPP CAP: TyCarter vs Piyu
My goat is going 6-2

ORAS CAP: (60) gorex vs Meta-Knight (40)
Definitely not counting out spammer, because he is motivated and a solid player who I've got high hopes for. But I can't bold against gorex here, even though he's not going to build or practise and probably bring something stupid.
BW CAP: (55) Monai vs tier (45)
Frankly I think Monai is just better, but given that its week 1 and tier has way more experience with the metagame and it's a high variance meta, this could definitely go either way.
DPP CAP: (45) TyCarter vs Piyu (55)

ORAS CAP: (55) Maxouille vs tears (45)
I have never seen either of these players play ORAS CAP but I think max is probably going to be quite good at it.

DPP CAP: (60) Laurel vs Nuxl (40)
I have very little to go off of here but I've heard great things about Laurel as a player and they will have better support.

Storming Saharajas vs Heartbreaker Hemogoblins
ORAS CAP: (55) Lasen vs Lostmemories (45)
Not familiar with Lostmemories so I can't make a confident prediction, but lasen has experience in the tier and as a player is good enough to beat anyone while also bad enough to lose to anyone, so I'm excited to see this one.
BW CAP: (45) Nalorium vs Brigtel (55)
would have bolded brigs because he is my goat. This was an interesting game, didn't love either of the builds but good showing from nalo.
DPP CAP: (40) violet river vs Sheik (60)
I have very little to go off of here but I've heard great things about sheik as a player and they will have better support.
