Rules​
  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.​

SV: Kate vs Galarian Blades- kate played a great game week 1, blades hard in'd gliscor on knock
SV: Taka vs JJ09LIE- JJ should rally, though taka is v solid in his own right and looking to bounce back asw. think this is a really fun game
SV: Horii vs Mada- i can't see no boots bootspam coming back
SS: dex vs Fogbound Lake- highlight match! I think fog is a slight edge, but I think Dex can more than make up for it in the builder. still mad we didnt see the w1 game btw
SM: evakiyama! vs hex- didn't see hex week 1 so bolding w/the more known quantity this season, plus I think eva should settle in a bit better after w1
ORAS: avarice vs Micaiah- really really fun match, I find it very hard to bold against Mic in ORAS tho. Really excited to catch this one
BW: Accel vs neomon- more impressed with week 1 performance
DPP: Laurel vs Plague- plague played well, I just trust Laurel a lot more than most in DPP


lame ass SHSP predicting a tie ik, these are some really fun games. ORAS and SS I think are really close matchups, definite week highlights

SV: Kaif vs Baddy- very fun matchup, I think baddy's week one was more impressive but I trust the breezi braintrust not to let kaif go 0-2 to start
SV: Iron Crusher vs Quinn- not that familiar with crusher, quite familiar with Quinn's game rn. think they're quite solid
SV: Ming549 vs Irene- I will never not bold my goat. Irene's the favorite going in but eventually my guy Ming will un-curse himself in CAP tours
SS: zioziotrip vs entrocefalo- picking this one feels really really hard. going with my gut about who will come in w/better prep. must-watch game
SM: Potatochan vs pannu- Pannu w1 was quite solid I thought, as was Potatos. I'm gonna say that pannu will actually build something fun this week (i surely will be proven wrong)
ORAS: pfizer lord ozai vs The Strap- pfizer lord ozai is a top 10 name i've ever seen in gaming. maybe top 5. I did see strap play week 1 tho, and was impressed despite the L
BW: Chomp29 vs seraphz- Chomp cooked week 1, think this should be fun
DPP: Nuxl vs crying- upset watch for sure after week 1, think crying should still be a lil favored tho

on paper this is 5-3 skwovets, but I'm calling my shot with the ming upset. The SS games this tour are gonna be amazing, holy shit

SV: One Last Kiss vs LB- OLK had an a1 win last week, I fully expect last season to keep going. vamos epiko or whatever they were saying
SV: dunoks vs EatFoods- i love foods but sm->sv is a lowkey rough swap
SV: Spammernoob vs Turn Up- calling another upset. Turn Up has really impressed me in recent times, and spammer's w1 game was shambolic
SS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Slowpoke Fan- slowpoke impressed w1, spitfire didn't play :[
SM: LBN vs Charmriah- charmriah enters the twilight zone that is LBN's builder...
ORAS: JayHeaven vs Steam Buns- this is a brutal schedule for jay's first few weeks back, damn. Buns looks solid as always
BW: Adriyun vs Dusk- far more impressed w/their week 1
DPP: violet river vs Lazuli- Laz looked amazing week 1, unsure what to expect out of river. definitely a fun match on paper tho, both players can play damn well

i'm sorry I predict so many ties LOL. could be a really big statement week for the shoxes, I think, there's definite shots to pull this one off
 
I really do not have the energy for predicts this season but I will give it a go for the sake of content

Storming Saharajas (4) vs (4) Heartbreaker Hemogoblins
SV: Brigtel vs LpZ - both started strong but LpZ is still a top 3 sv in terms of raw mons skill and prep shouldn't be an issue with spoo support, brigtel is gonna have to go ham in the builder here
SV: Axzel vs kDCA - I'm still banking on axzel having a good run he just had a bad draw w1, he also needs to be a bit less predictable with team selection but if he can do that he should outplay
SV: Nashrock vs sealoo - I rate sealoo a bit higher as a player but nash is no slouch, he also comes with more cap experience I believe but idt meta knowledge should be an issue for sealoo here
SS: Ikaishi vs QWILY - still rate qwily as the better player and I can't imagine he starts 0-2 especially with the prep core supporting him, I think this game determines how the rest of his season goes tho tbh
SM: Clem vs seth - clem my beloved I will not bold against my french lover boy, he is still the best sm cap to ever do it (but only when he's on a team I'm not managing apparently fuck you)
ORAS: Lasen vs Foolycl - I just think bolding against lasen is funny, this feels like it could go either way but fooly has been very impressive in the general smogtours space lately and had a great run last year
BW: Cow vs TGA - better player overall imo, ofc TGA has the experience edge but he mostly farms in capcl, the stronger playerbase here may pose some issues
DPP: Lialiabeast vs Sheik : - the fact that one of these guys will start 0-2 is crazy, really shows the strength of the dpp pool this year, pulling for my 1v1pl manager skewdas gotta stick together

These were literally my 2 highest ranked teams on my personal pr so it's wild to me that one of them will be at the bottom half of the leaderboard going into w3, should be a super competitive set tho most of these matches could go either way.

Breezin' Breezis (4) vs (4) Shoenice Skwovets
SV: Kaif vs Baddy - I need baddy to keep dominating the cap scene so I can continue to flex the fact that I was the only one to beat him in capcl
SV: Iron Crusher vs Quinn - I have not seen mr crusher play 6v6 let alone cap but given this is the breezis I'm sure he's some secret genius and this match is way closer than it seems
SV: Ming549 vs Irene - I rate irene higher in cap, she doesn't have the olk synergy this year which may work against her but it didn't seem to slow her down w1
SS: zioziotrip vs entrocefalo - zio's prep game is really hard to beat I think they're about even in play but zio probably wins in the builder
SM: Potatochan vs pannu - this is literally the opposite of the above game, I rate pannu's prep quite highly but I think potato mogs him in-game
ORAS: pfizer lord ozai vs The Strap - literally what the fuck is this, if this isn't the highlight of the whole tour idk what is, idk how ozai plays but he comes with the better prep core which should carry
BW: Chomp29 vs seraphz - adpl cancer booo, still good at bw cap tho
DPP: Nuxl vs crying - yea this is just a skill diff unless we get some breezi prep magic

Opposite of the first set, I rated both teams pretty low in my pr, breezis because I don't know most players and skwovets because I feel like their prep is lacking in certain areas. That doesn't mean either is bad tho and there's actually some really fun matches here.

SV: One Last Kiss vs LB - armaan is funny and I hope he does well but having your first game in vs olk is diabolical
SV: dunoks vs EatFoods - outside of a potential scheduling wincon since dunoks has less availability than santa during christmas, this should go smoothly for the frenchman
SV: Spammernoob vs Turn Up - another tough opp to have for your first week in
SS: Dj Breloominati♬ vs Slowpoke Fan - impressive win from slowpoke last week but if spit is motivated enough I find it hard to bold against him
SM: LBN vs Charmriah - LBN will not start 0-2 that would be total crazy sauce
ORAS: JayHeaven vs Steam Buns - battle of the oldheads, I imagine buns will actually care more tho, jay is just the chill unc who wants a laid back tour
BW: Adriyun vs Dusk - just gonna favor the actual bw mainer, idt I've seen adrian play bw outside of this tour
DPP: violet river vs Lazuli - my goat now and forever

I strongly favor libras here but I won't count out shoxes, I will gladly admit when a team can prove me wrong and if they can pull off the upset this week I think they will have firmly established their credibility in this tour and I won't take them lightly again.

DPP: Nuxl vs crying I've got a feeling too, Nuxl can pull through. Crying is very strong but its also a matter of if they will have adapted to the meta and if they bring something good.
