Right, so here's the team I use for casual Wi-fi battling. It's by no means perfect, and I'd like to improve it, so I'm posting it here. Criticize away, but please do not suggest I replace any team member with Garchomp or Blissey.
Porygon-Z@Life Orb
Modest- 252 sp.atk, 252 spd, 4 hp
Adaptability
Magic Coat
Agility
Tri Attack
Discharge
Odd lead setup of my own design. Magic Coat is unusual but screws up sleep leads pretty badly and often allows me a free turn to set up with Agility as they switch out. Blissey, of course, stops Porygon in his tracks; however, they will often switch to a 'counter' which I can then kill with Tri Attack. Discharge has a good chance of paralysis and hits Gyarados leads hard.
Slowbro@Leftovers
Relaxed- 252 hp, 252 defense, 4 sp.atk
Own Tempo
Surf
Ice Beam
Grass Knot
Slack Off
This one is more standard, and is my physical tank. Lots of coverage and decent power on things it's supereffective against. Slack Off recovers health, blah blah blah.
Flygon@Choice Scarf
Naughty- 252 atk, 200 sp.atk, 56 spd
Levitate
U-Turn
Earthquake
Flamethrower
Draco Meteor
Flygon Scarf set- again, I think pretty standard. Draco Meteor makes Garchomp die (usually) and Earthquake, with STAB, has decent power. Flamethrower for Skarmory and Forretress.
Lanturn@Chesto Berry
Calm- 68 hp, 240 sp.def, 200 sp.atk
Volt Absorb
Discharge
Ice Beam
Surf
Rest
Lanturn is my special sponge, and does a decent job of it. Good coverage, and Rest for health recovery. Grass-type special attacks have a type advantage, but he can live their hits and often take them out with Ice Beam.
Gallade@Expert Belt
Adamant- 252 atk, 252 hp, 4 sp.def
Steadfast
Close Combat
Psycho Cut
X-Scissor
Hypnosis
Physical attacks, and status support. It's unlikely that Blissey will stay in, but if she does, Gallade can easily dispose of her. OHKOs (non-focus sash) Gengars who think they can switch in on Close Combat.
Torkoal@Leftovers
Relaxed- 252 hp, 216 def, 40 sp.atk
White Smoke
Toxic
Overheat
Rapid Spin
Explosion
As many of my team members are rather fragile and possess no means of recovery, I feel it's important to have a Rapid Spinner of some kind. He can also deal decent damage with Overheat and either force walls out with Toxic or take them down with Explosion.
Strategy- Although this is mainly a 'fun' team, when I play I generally focus on weakening and slowing the opponent's team, while removing threats such as Blissey, until I am at the point where I can sweep with Porygon/Flygon.
