Well, I'm back. With another DLC2 team. DLC2 has ruined my life because I can't win a single match and hopefully this team will let me do that. So let's continue!
The Team
Importable
(Galar)
(Regidrago)
So as you can see above, the 6 mons are my team are Shuckle, Zapdos-Galar, Pheromosa, Landorus, Genesect-Douse, and Regidrago.
Shuckle @ Mental Herb
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Sticky Web
- Encore
- Final Gambit
So this is kind of a basic Shuckle set. Mental Herb lets us take a Taunt for HO leads like Mew. Mental Herb gets rid of the Taunt and lets us get up one of two Hazards. Encore lets us make opposing leads use Stealth Rock or whatever move they used 3 times in a row. Final Gambit makes this a suicide lead in the fact that it just takes the place of Explosion, and prevents the opponent from spinning away our hazards.
(I'm just gonna use normal Zapdos for the Galar one)
(Galar)
Zapdos-Galar @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Stomping Tantrum
Well, if you've used this monster before, you know how insane it is. Zapdos-Galar with Choice Band completely destroys LITERALLY ANYTHING. Like holy shit dude. This thing's attack with Brave Bird, Stomping Tantrum, and Close Combat just makes it a INSANELY powerful breaker. It does damage to literally EVERYTHING. Like Brave Bird does a crap ton to Landorus. I'll put some calcs after this. But this is just my breaker to break walls and it's something that I should keep for a while because it deals a lot of damage.
0 Atk Choice Band Zapdos-Galar Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 112+ Def Landorus-Therian: 207-244 (54.1 - 63.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Choice Band Zapdos-Galar Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 278-330 (78.9 - 93.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Pheromosa @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- U-turn
- Close Combat
- Ice Beam / Triple Axel
- Rapid Spin
Like honestly, this shit is broken. Phermosa is my win condition/wallbreaker because it does insane damage along with a high speed. And after KO'ing a Pokemon, it gets a Speed Boost. Triple Axel does pulverizes bulky walls and destroys neutral Pokemon considering the fact that the power of the attack gets stronger with each hit, and Rapid Spin gets rid of hazards and gives it a speed boost to add to it's insane speed. Close Combat just does a lot of damage and U-turn lets you pivot.
252 Atk Life Orb Pheromosa Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 315-374 (89.4 - 106.2%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
Like damn bro
Landorus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Psychic
- Sludge Wave
- Rock Polish
Well, this set is pretty self-explanatory but I'll go into more detail cuz I have to. Earth Power just hits like Aegislash and Zeraora, Psychic hits Pex, Rock Polish speeds Lando up, and Sludge Wave deals with Clef. So basically this thing is just here to deal with the most common counter in the current metagame. This thing is just a wallbreaker and destroys stuff after it sets up with like Rock Polish.
Genesect-Douse @ Douse Drive
Ability: Download
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Extreme Speed
- Techno Blast
- Thunderbolt
This thing is another monster on my team. It's another wallbreaker, and with it's moveset, it can hit literally everything. Flash Cannon hits Clefable, Extreme Speed for priority the other two are just moves I like to hit other annoying walls. This thing is just another breaker on my team, I think I have too many of em lol
But yeah, this thing just does the basic stuff of breaking walls.
REGIDRAGO
Regidrago @ Choice Specs
Ability: Dragon's Maw
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Energy
- Ancient Power
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
So Regidrago with Specs just does a crap ton of damage. Especially Dragon Energy which does damaged based on current health. This is another SpAtking breaker and 3 Dragon STAB does hits everything. Ancient Power helps boost all my stats (maybe). That's about it.
Conclusion
I just need some feedback on this team. It has done decently in battle but I can't break 1300 again. It's hard and I would like some feedback. Thanks!
