Hello, this is a theme team consisting of pokes that relate to a Beatles song. Ironically, I don't have a poke for 'I Am The Walrus'.:pirate:

~Lead/Special Sweeper~

- Thunderbolt

This thing is awesome. Covers most of the leads, except Bronzong, who I switch out of. Can also reek havok late game, when I know their Sp. Wall's gone.

~Special Wall~
Another Girl (Blissey) @Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs:148 HP/252 Def/110 Sp. Att
Calm (+sp def, -att)
- Seismic Toss
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled

That's right, I use a Blissey, go ahead, hate me. :P This pink blob absorbs special attacks like a champ.

~Support/Physical Wall~
Across The Universe (Jirachi) @Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs:252 HP/56 Att/76 Def/136 Spd
Impish Nature (+def, -sp att)
- Zen Headbutt
- Wish
- Reflect
- U-Turn

Is a great Wishpasser, and can put Reflect up so that my team can take physical hits easier. Fun getting flinchhax once in awhile.

~Special Sweeper~
Strawberry Fields Forever (Shaymin) @Choice Specs
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs:252 Sp Att/252 Spd/6 HP
Modest Nature (+sp att, -att)
- Seed Flare
- HP Fire
- Psychic
- Grass Knot

My special sweeper that I love to use. Seed Flare is a fun STAB attack. Grass Knot over Rest beacuse I already have Wish support.


~Spinner~
Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da (Starmie)@ Leftovers
Ability:Natural Cure
EVs:160 HP/134 Sp Att/216 Spd
Timid Nature (+spd, -att)
- Recover
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Surf

One of the best spinners, imo. Doesn't care about SR, Spikes, or TS and can Recover off any damage. It can also kill stuff. :heart:

~Physical Sweeper~
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (Salamence)@ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs:252 att/252 spd/6 HP
Jolly Nature (+spd, -sp att)
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

Once this thing has a few DDs, it can sweep.
 
You have a gigantic NP Azelf weak, as everything gets OHKO'd after a Nasty Plot. Heatran and other heavy hitting special attackers give you trouble too. Blissey>Miltank helps with this and it can use Aromatherapy too, although I'm not so sure a Cleric is necessary and healing status is harder to pull off safely in DP. Blissey always is female so it could work with your nickname. This allows Jirachi to become physically based and run Reflect, which helps your large CB/DD Tar weak.

MixApes with HP Ice rape this team as well, and a slight DD Gyrados weak. You also lack a spinner. Starmie covers all of these and fits over Shaymin or Gengar.

If you choose to keep Shaymin, run Grass Knot/Rest>Energy Ball, as most OU Pokemon get hit harder by Grass Knot. Rest is for NaturalResting, but you have Wish support so run Grass Knot.

On Salamence, I'd much rather run DD/DClaw/EQ/Fire Blast, as if set up as much as you said it would be you can OHKO things, instead of relying on flinchhax.
 
Uh, yeah, the beatles are awesome, but the analysis kinda... assumed every reader has never played Pokémon before. Yes, I'm being a hypocritical ass right now, but... yeah.

Lots of things can 3HKO Blissey, like Focus Blast Gengar, Azelf, all Lucario (even the new standard set is 3HKO'd by Specs Aura Sphere) . The tough thing is the 2HKO, you know... the meaningful number.

Jirachi is only 3HKO'd if there's a Light Screen up, which there will not be.

Drop Rock Slide on Salamence, as only Skarm and Bronzong resist Dragon/Ground and aren't weak to it. Fire Something goes there.

Life Orb Gengar should be Modest, as you need the attack power and the only thing Timid beats is other Scarf Gengar, which isn't that important...

Uh, yeah, you need a Blissey, Snorlax, Empoleon, or something to take special hits. Anything.
 
Thanks for the great suggestions, trumpet. I think I will do Blissey over Miltank, as Miltank was just a deadweight in all my battles. I'll change Salamence's moveset, too. Energy Ball was just a filler, really, as I would either win, lose, or have Shaymin die before Seed Flare ran out of PP. I see what you mean on the Mixape thing, but both of my Sp. Sweepers are doing well for me. Possibly replace Mamo with Starmie?



@chris The analysis were just really describing the moves, really, as I know you are all more experianced than me. ;P But thanks for backing up trumpet's opinion. Now I really know I need to replace Miltank.
 
You could use Starmie>Mamoswine but you'll have trouble breaking Thunder Wave Blissey if you don't get lucky with Sp. Def drops and accuracy, which is why I suggested it over a Special Sweeper.
 
What about Walrein for 'I Am The Walrus'...?

Anyway, I've always been a sucker for Forretress, and it could work with Explosion and giving Stelth Rock/Spikes/Toxic Spikes support. Weakens your opponent and forces them to Rapid Spin or keep taking damage. Just saying.
 
I honestly have no idea why, but I can't seem to use Walrein. =/ It just dies too easily. @ the Forretress idea, I already have a spinner. A spiker would be nice but I can't seem to find a spot for him. Thanks, anyways.
 
lolz, I was just replying for the irony of including a walrus on your team. And you're welcome. I'm not experienced at all, that was just my thought.
