Behind The Scenes

moltres.png

Moltres @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Modest
EVs: 40 Def / 216 Spe / 252 SpA
Moveset:
- Overheat
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power (Electric)
- U-Turn

Description:
Moltres, as many say, is my signature pokemon. He usually is a better lead than many others, as it can take out bronzong, jirachi, ect. But what I really love about him is his HP Electric. Many people are awestruck when their puny Gyaras die to a moltres. She sure is amusing. Here's a trick I like to do: I wait for about ten seconds, send in moltres, then kill water types! (Most notably starmie). It's choice scarf allows me to attack first, since other starters are relatively slow, or have 394 spe. Overheat is like ilt's signature move, Airslash for other coverages. U_turn is a great move for starters, easily breaking someones focus sash, then proceeding to a reliable counter.

bronzong.png

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 Hp / 128 SpA / 128 Def
Moveset:
- Hypnosis
- Stealth Rock
- Charge Beam
- Hidden power (Ice)

Description
Bronzong Usually comes in from moltres' U-Turn. He can then set up SR, or sleep his opponents right away. Charge beam is here to ward or kill off water types, especially late game gyarados. Ice HP comes in handy when a dragon comes in, preparing to set up. I've given it bold nature because the speed might come in handy. With this bronzong (with no gyro ball), speed is of the escense. 128 evs in SpA usually gives me a 2HKO on gyara. 128 Def are for defense backup.

lucario.png

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 Hp
Moveset:
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Extreme Speed
- Bullet Punch

Description
Lucario is one of my best and most favorite late game sweeper. His two priority moves help me alot in battle. It seemed that ghosts such gengar, usually put me in submission, so I added bullet punch instead of Crunch. I usually save him until I konw that my opponent has or doesn't have a deoxys, so I need to rely on it's Xspeed/Bullet punch to kill it, usually doing about 70% on most deoxys'. A makes up for the lack of my other members <3.

heatran.png

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Hp / 56 SpA / 200 Sp.Def
Moveset:
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Lava Plume
- Earthpower

Description
Heatran is one of THE best sleeptalkers in the game. He has great resistances, and a huge SpAttack to back it up. 200 SpDef give it more endurance against special attack, like frmo celebi and gengar. Lavaplume seems to always burn when I need it to. It's it's signature move. Indeed, Heatran is a major part of my team. He tanks, and wards/kills jirachi/celebii/bronzong/Skarm.

garchomp.png

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Abiliy: Sand Veil
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 6Hp
Moveset:
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Fang

Description
Garchomp is an ultimate revenge-killer. He has the speed and power to do it efficiently. Firefang are for the likes of celebi, while stone edge kills zapdos'. The Ev spread are for maximum speed nd power, with the rest in Hp. A power house of it's kind. Garchomp is definetly a poke to be aware of.

gyarados.png

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Abilty: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 216 Hp / 16 Atk / 176 Def / 100 Spe
Moveset:
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt
- Waterfall
- Earthquake

Description
Gyarados is a beast at tanking. It's intimidate and evs in defense allow it to take on physical attacks. 100 Spe will allow me to surpass garchomp with a DD. 216 Hp give me 5 chances to switch in on Stealth Rocks. It's a simple, but effective bulky gyara. With defenses like a pro, and a great stat up move, this gyarados will be sweeping in no time at all.

Threat List:

Tyranitar - Lucario can kill the slower ones, while Garchomp can kill the ones with a dd or scarf up.
Gyarados - Moltres are for leads, bronzongs for late game, garchomp can provide back up.

Electivire - Garchomp can OHKO it, and is faster than a motordrive boosted electivire.
Heracross - Moltres and Gyara can take this guy down with prediction, lucario can help kill it off.
Salamence - Garchomp will be faster then a dd-up salanece. Bronzong can also weaken it enough for lucario to kill it off.

Gengar - Heatran will most likely switch in for hypnosis. lucario and garchomp can take it out from there.

Dugtrio - Garchomp will revenge kill it, though dugtrio is no threat at all for this team.
Alakazam - Bronzong and heatran might be able to wall it. garchomp will definetly outspeed and kill.
PorygonZ - My pokes usually outspeed this thing. I will weaken it down so ko rang.
Medicham - Gyarados walls it nicely. I will most likely set up on it, then take it down.
Staraptor - I've never really faced one, though i'm sure gyara, garchomp, and lucario can kill it.
Slowbro - bronzong and gyara will sleep/taunt it. I'll weaken it from there to KO with garchomp/lucario.
Machamp - Prediction, machamp only real counter is slowbro... so yeah....
Jolteon - Garchomp can kill it, luacrio can Xspeed it, heatran ccan Earthpower it.
Aerodactyl - lucario and garchomp will attempt this one.
Snorlax - A trick room curse team will whipe out this team, so snorlax is a threat. Lucario will have to cc it.
Zapdos - Garchomp can stone edge it, lucario will be revenge killing it after.
Blissey - lucario, garchomp, gyara can at least 2hko (gyara with a few dds).
Suicune - gyara usually walls this guy, then can set up. Luke/Garchomp can revenge kill.
Breloom - moltres can take any of it's attacks. I just break it's sub and attack accordinally.
Tangrowth - moltres will OHKO it. bronzong can sleep it. Overall, heatran owns it.
Ninjask - gyara can taunt it. I'll have to be careful against this one. No phazer on this team ://
Metagross - PreGarchomp can revenge kill, lucario ca do the same. bronzong tens to wall it.
Heatran - lucario can OHKO with cc. garchomp can wipe the floor with him.
Celebi - Garchomp will hopefullyt finish it off, lucario can then revenge kill it.
Jirachi - Moltres, Heatran, Garchomp can hit it pretty hard. overheat, Lavaplume, erathquake.
Deoxys-S - A problem if bronzong and lucario are dead. I'll try to keep them alive till then.

Final Words:
Thankyou for your time reading this RMT. Well anyways... RMT!

24 hour bump.
I guess it seems good in my eyes, but to you guys, i'm sure you've spot some weaknesses. Please help.

~Celebii

three weak pokes to water

also two weak to fire

I only see two water weaknesses, and he has Heatran to absorb fire attacks.

Anyways, Your ground weakness is well covered considering you have three Ground immunities. You have two sources of fire attacks for the steels that will inevitably give your Scarfchomp problems (you may have fire fang, but if you mispredict, there'll be issues with them), you have a game plan against most of the threats in the metagame, and you only have two Stealth Rock weaknesses (which is still arguably bad since you lack a spinner). All in all, this looks like a decently solid team to me.
