[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its powerful Fire Lash and vast coverage, Centiskorch is a fantastic wallbreaker in ZU. The Defense drop from Fire Lash makes Centiskorch less reliant on predicting and lets it make progress against passive walls such as Audino and Miltank. Knock Off allows Centiskorch to punish switch-ins such as Altaria, Qwilfish, and Cramorant. Power Whip provides coverage against Water- and Rock-types such as Wishiwashi, Poliwrath, and Rhydon and is capable of OHKOing them after a Defense drop from Fire Lash. Leech Life threatens foes such as Appletun while providing decent recovery. Alternatively, Coil lets Centiskorch set up on foes such as Clefairy and makes it an even more threatening wallbreaker; however, the loss of recovery from Leech Life lowers its longevity. Flash Fire lets Centiskorch switch into Rapidash's Flare Blitz, as well as Will-O-Wisp from the Rotom formes, and empower its Fire Lash.

Centiskorch fits best on balance and bulky offense teams that appreciate its wallbreaking capabilities. Checks to Water-types such as Cramorant and Ferroseed are appreciated, as they can handle foes such as Poliwrath and Basculin; the former can also provide additional utility with Defog. Ground-types such as Rhydon and Piloswine can aid Centiskorch by switching into troublesome attackers like Kangaskhan and benefit from its ability to weaken or take out their checks, like Wishiwashi and Frosmoth. Setup sweepers and cleaners like Swords Dance Silvally-Ghost, Bulk Up Gurdurr, and Choice Scarf Sawk can utilize Centiskorch's wallbreaking capabilities to sweep and clean late-game. Knock Off absorbers such as Silvally formes, Poliwrath, and Skuntank are vital to scout Knock Off from foes like Cryogonal, Uxie, and Ferroseed that Centiskorch wants to come in on. Entry hazard removal from the likes of Cramorant, Rotom, and Rotom-S is invaluable, as Centiskorch is likely to have its Heavy-Duty Boots removed.

Rest + Sleep Talk provides Centiskorch with reliable recovery, but the loss of coverage means that it cannot reliably handle its checks. A Jolly nature can be utilized to let Centiskorch outpace Jolly Clawitzer and Speed tie with Timid Frosmoth.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Knock Off**: Knock Off targets Centiskorch's mediocre physical bulk and removes its Heavy-Duty Boots, leaving it susceptible to entry hazards. Foes such as Clefairy and Ferroseed can lure in Centiskorch and weaken it with Knock Off, lowering its ability to switch into them consistently.

**Water-types**: Although they dislike switching into Power Whip, Water-types such as Poliwrath, Basculin, and Cramorant are capable of outspeeding and OHKOing Centiskorch with their STAB moves.

**Dragon-types**: Dragon-types such as Altaria and Appletun are able to switch into Fire Lash and Power Whip and retaliate with a strong attack. However, they should be wary of being worn down by Knock Off and Leech Life, respectively.

**Faster Foes**: Faster offensive threats such as Silvally-Ghost, Rotom-S, and Kangaskhan are able to severely dent Centiskorch with their attacks, making it difficult for Centiskorch to perform its role as a wallbreaker.

Thanks to its powerful Fire Lash and vast coverage, Centiskorch is a fantastic wallbreaker in ZU, boasting good matchups against common staples like Ferroseed and Clefairy these two aren't great examples as they often carry Knock Off that Centiskorch wants to avoid as much as possible. Emphasize on Fire Lash's Defense drop that lets Centiskorch rely less on prediction and can let it break through passive walls. Power Whip provides coverage against Water- and Rock-types such as Wishiwashi, Omastar, and Rhydon and is capable of OHKOing them after a Defense drop from Fire Lash. Knock Off allows Centiskorch to punish switch-ins such as Altaria, Qwilfish, and Drampa Drampa can't take Fire Lash into Leech Life nor two Leech Life, Cramorant and other Fire-types are more accurate examples. Don't forget to mention what Leech Life does. Flash Fire lets Centiskorch switch into Magmortar's Fire Blast as well as Will-O-Wisp from Rotom formes and empowers its Fire Lash.

Centiskorch fits best on balanced and bulky offense teams that appreciate its wallbreaking capabilities. Checks to Water-types such as Cramorant, Defog Silvally-Dragon, and Ferroseed are appreciated, as they can handle foes such as Poliwrath and Basculin; the former two can provide additional utility with Defog, while the latter can set Spikes, weakening foes into the range of Centiskorch's attacks fluff. Ground-types such as Rhydon and Palossand can aid Centiskorch by switching into troublesome attackers like Lycanroc and benefit from its ability to weaken or take out their checks like Wishiwashi and Frosomoth. Setup sweepers and cleaners like Swords Dance Silvally-Ghost, Bulk Up Gurdur, and Choice Scarf Sawk can utilize Centiskorch's wallbreaking capabilities to sweep and clean late-game. Mention scouts for Knock Off as Centiskorch wants to come on Pokémon like Cryogonal, Uxie, Ferroseed, and Clefairy that often carry Knock Off. Mention also hazard control as Centiskorch is likely going to lose its boots.

Coil lets Centiskorch set up on foes such as Clefairy and makes it an even more threatening wallbreaker; however, the loss of recovery from Leech Life lowers Centiskorch's longevity and ability to consistently set up. Move this to main set. OO should be RestTalk, Scald, bulkier spread (120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Speed) that avoids the 2HKO from Choice Specs Magmortar's Thunderbolt while outspeeding Adamant Perrserker and Jolly Rhydon, and Jolly-nature.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Knock Off** This should be point number one as it's def the main way to threaten Centiskorch.

**Water-types**: Although they dislike switching into Power Whip, Water-types such as Poliwrath, Basculin, and Cramorant are capable of outspeeding and OHKOing Centiskorch with their STAB moves.

**Dragon-types** Altaria and Silvally-Dragon go here

**Rock- and Ground-types**: Rock- and Ground-types like Lycanroc and Silvally-Ground are able to OHKO or heavily damage Centiskorch. Accelerock from Lycanroc can revenge kill and OHKO Centiskorch, while Multi-Attack from Silvally-Ground can limit Centiskorch's effectiveness. Slower Rock-types are demolished by Power Whipe whereas faster go in the next section.

**Faster Foes**: Due to Centiskorch's mediocre bulk Centiskorch's bulk isn't mediocre at all, especially on the special side and backed up by Leech Life's recovery, faster offensive threats such as Silvally-Dragon, Silvally-Ghost, Rotom-S, and Kangaskhan are able to severely dent it with their attacks, making it difficult for Centiskorch to perform its role as a wallbreaker.

Alternatively, Coil lets Centiskorch set up on foes such as Clefairy and makes it an even more threatening wallbreaker; however, the loss of recovery from Leech Life lowers Centiskorch's longevity and ability to consistently set up. Rest + Sleep Talk provides Centiskorch with reliable recovery, but the loss of coverage means that it cannot reliably handle its checks. Scald can be used to weaken Fire-types such as Magmortar, Rapidash, and opposing Centiskorch while threatening a burn on switch-ins like Silvally-Dragon and Cramorant. (Talked to the QC team and we agreed on removing this) A bulkier EV spread of 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe can be used to avoid a 2HKO from Choice Specs Magmortar's Thunderbolt while outspeeding Adamant Perrserker and Jolly Rhydon. A Jolly nature can be utilized to let Centiskorch outpace Jolly Clawitzer and Speed tie with Timid Frosmoth.
