[SET COMMENTS]
Chandelure functions as a niche revenge killer, being able to revenge Mimikyu without a disguise as well as Dragapult and Excadrill and being able to break through Galarian Corsola. It also puts a large amount of pressure on steel and grass types such as Corviknight, Aegislash, Ferrothorn and Rillaboom. Overheat is generally used for maximum power, however it is best with another Fire type STAB due to the Special Attack loss allowing opposing pokemon to set up. Shadow ball is the secondary STAB that hits Mimikyu, Corsola and Dragapult. The third move slot can be either used for extra coverage for niche pokemon such as Gastrodon and Quagsire in Energy ball, an extra Fire type move on top of Overheat or Will-o-wisp which can cripple pokemon that Chandelure cannot OHKO such as Gyarados. The last move is Trick, which can be used to cripple slower bulkier switch-ins such as Toxapex. Infiltrator is generally the preferred ability for being able to bypass Dual Screens and Substitute, however Flash Fire can be used to gain boosted Fire-type moves after switching into Fire-Type attacks.

Chandelure likes to be paired with pokemon that mitigate its weakness to Mimikyu and Tyranitar such as Excadrill and Ferrothorn. This set can also be ran with Focus Sash over Choice Scarf.

Somehow, this hasn't been touched since it came up on Dec 2nd, lol. I'll do my part I suppose.

Because Focus Sash is slashed as an item, your last move of Trick should probably have another slash with a move that is usable with Focus Sash, provided you were to use the secondary item. I think Energy Ball or Wisp could work here. I don't think Wisp should be used on the Scarf set, tbh, so moving that to a slash on Trick's spot makes sense. Everything else looks good.

On the same topic mentioned above, since the set is a Choice Scarf set I think Focus Sash shouldn't really be slashed on the set itself. However, I would make a quick mention that this set can be used with a Focus Sash as a quick "Other Options" item. Obviously the set is mostly the same but with no Trick, but I'm not sure it needs a full second set. It may also be worth mentioning Flash Fire as an ability option since Flash Fire boosted Fire moves can be scary with Scarf, though also make note that Infiltrator is useful against Screens which, at least for now, makes it more appealing.

Otherwise this looks good as is, Chandelure is pretty straightforward so I don't think there's much else to note. QC 1/2

i don't typically like choice items, but i think i like this.
sorry if i've missed something, but if one is running wisp, why not use hex instead of shadow ball...? also, maybe calm mind for 4th slot if running focus sash?

You’re not always going to use Will-o-Wisp, as is it isn’t the main point of the build. Shadow Ball is a more consistent Ghost type attack Chandelure would prefer to have most of the time as it doesn’t rely on status to amplify its damage. I personally don’t see the point in CM there. Imo, for Sash, you’d be better off hitting twice/hitting and burning if you’re faster or getting a burn/an attack off if you’re slower. What advantage are you exactly getting with a CM?

I actually sorta think that slashing in Flash Fire might not be the way to go. When I think of Chandelure I think Inflitrator. Ignoreing screens and Substitute is a really valuable thing in this format at the moment, and it differnciates itself from Dragapult because of the high Special Attack and the Fire STAB (notable for roasting Corviknight).

Originally I didn't have it on until the QC and I do kind of agree with you on Flash Fire. Flash Fire does allow it to pair well with stuff like Corviknight or Ferrothorn by baiting in Rotom-H/Arcanine boosted attacks, but it does seem a bit tricky to use consistently.
