Rejected Changing AG policy

AG seeks to emulate in-game gameplay but that's not really relevant when it comes to gameplay on Pokemon Showdown. It's just a gamemode where people have fun playing with whatever pokemon they want-as such, I'd like to see us being allowed to use multiple Mega Pokemon in Anything Goes. Playing hackmons is not any kind of an answer since that is a mess of a game mode that allows any pokemon to use any ability. There are zero non-arbitrary reasons as to why we can use 6 zacian-c's but not 6 mega pinsirs.

People have raised interest in this idea and I see no reason to get some discussion and possible change going on. Thanks!

We will not be changing this policy. AG is specifically a format made to be like in-game wifi battles, and as such we will emulate the games. As I said in your last thread, play Hackmons or Custom Game instead.

To clarify this point further:

In generations 6 and 7 where mega evolutions are usable, you can only mega evolve 1 Pokemon per battle.

If you are refering to National Dex AG for Gen 8, policy decisions for that are handled by the tier leaders for that format not us. Regardless I doubt they would make a change like that because the core goal (if I'm remembering correctly) is to support all pokemon as well as Megas and Z-Moves as they were in gen 7.
