[OVERVIEW]
Chansey has a solid, albeit limited, niche in DOU as one of the best stops to the tier's powerful special attackers like Naganadel, Heatran, and Landorus thanks to its absurdly high HP and decent Special Defense. Chansey can apply offensive pressure with Seismic Toss and Toxic while also acting as a late-game wincon if all opposing physical attackers are taken care of. Chansey's Defense does leave a lot to be desired even with Eviolite, however, leaving it extremely vulnerable to physical attackers like Urshifu-R and Incineroar. The former of whom threatens to OHKO Chansey, while the latter can remove its Eviolite with Knock Off. Chansey is being very passive due to its low initial damage, allowing the special attackers it's supposed to check to attack Chansey's teammates without much fear of Chansey itself. Incineroar is a great partner for Chansey, as its Intimidate helps patch up Chansey's Defense. Landorus is an offensive partner that appreciates Chansey switching in on Naganadel and Dragapult, which normally threaten to OHKO it. while also beating Urshifu-R.

[SET COMMENTS]
* Seismic Toss deals static damage to most of the tier, allowing Chansey to wear down Pokemon like Naganadel and Landorus.
* Toxic is helpful for wearing down bulkier Pokemon and setup sweepers like Dragon Dance Kyurem-B and Porygon2.
* Stealth Rock punishes Pokemon like Rillaboom and Incineroar for switching into Chansey, causing them to get worn down more quickly.
* Soft-Boiled allows Chansey to make use of its great bulk from Eviolite and outlast most Pokemon when Toxic is in play, allowing it to potentially win games on its own in some situations.
* Natural Cure prevents status from sticking to Chansey given it can switch out, which makes it significantly harder to wear down. Healer cannot remove status from Chansey but can remove status from its teammates if Chansey is on the field, which is particularly helpful for setup sweepers like Cosmic Power Mew that operate at a slower pace.
* Maximum Speed investment allows Chansey to outrun several Pokemon such as Incineroar and Volcanion, letting it either hit them with Toxic or heal before they can act.

Other Options
=============
Chansey has a few options over Toxic or Stealth Rock depending on the rest of the team. Thunder Wave can debilitate offensive Pokemon that rely on their Speed like Urshifu-R and Naganadel, while Heal Pulse can keep Chansey's allies healthy. Ally Switch can allow Chansey to take hits directed at its allies, which can generate free turns for them, and vice versa. However, losing out on Toxic or Stealth Rock makes Chansey even more passive.
