Character Limit in the Battle Finder

I think a character limit in certain text entry fields (particularly the "ruleset" one) on the Smogon Battle Finder would be pretty nice, so that stuff like this doesn't happen:

That, or maybe some kind of rule/punishment for spamming to discourage this kinda stuff?
And I might could also suggest putting bold text somewhere on the battle finder that says If someone disconnects on you, don't complain about it in your next ruleset. Go here to report it.

It's just that it shouldn't take >15-30 characters or so to type in a ruleset in most cases.

On a related note, I've been bitching about banned users being unable to use the battle finder; since a good deal of those are bots I ban them on sight. I've been told this is being worked on so that's cool. As for the immediate problem, it shouldn't be as huge fix. As for the second part, the link should direct only to the op of the blacklist thread so the person can read the rules lest they receive a warning.
