SM OU Charizard Y Double Team

Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Overheat
- Air Slash
- Solar Beam
- Roost

This is actually not my favorite form of charizard but i went this one because he doesnt have too much of a threat in this meta and he has an ability to set up Sun that will boost his fire type
damage output along side one of my main special sweepers. I went Overheat because it is one of his strongest and best stab move on the list, Air Slash because of another stab move and that extra 30% to try and make the appoinent flinch in
addtion to facing a fighting type it will do a lot of damage, Soloar Beam because its a strong move to have into water(Not like i will keep him out) and rock types then roost to keep him healthy
as possible.

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn

I went Landorus- T with Choice Scard because he can out speed a lot of enemies that threaten Zard Y. With the basic Adamant nature set up he is going to hit hard and fast. Starting out with
Earthquake as his best stab move he can handle a lot of pokemon that can take Zard Y out. Next i went Stone Edge for another power move against flying types such as special sweeper Zapados,
Steal Rocks comes in handy when you want to have their pokemon damaged before you hit them with a move this works well into a defensive Zapdos which will knock its health down quite a bit
and can finish it off with Stone Edge, then last but not least U-Turn which will let me bring in a pokemon after doing damage to help against a threat to Landorus.

Tapu Fini @ Wiki Berry
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Muddy Water
- Moonblast
- Heal Pulse
- Protect

This is a support version of tapu Fini that will help me with a lot of problems. Muddy Water is a move i went with to give it that 30% chance of lowing accuracy and while doing good enough
damage as a stab move, Moonblast is one of the hardest hitting stab move Fini can have on it and even though its a support it can still do massave damage to set up a sweeper to come in and clean
it up, Heal Pulse keeps Fini fresh in battles and Protect is just there to waste a move.

Venusaur @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Solar Beam
- Giga Drain
- Protect

I know what most people are thinking when they see a Venusaur on a team without being mega but if you look at the set ups i have Venusaur with Life Orb is a perfect fit inside this team. Set up
as a special sweeper, Venusaur can come in replacing Zard Y against a water types Sludge Bomb is one of the strongest stab moves Venusaur has as a poison type and can take out many enemies
and can help knock down a tank, Solor Beam is the most powerful grass type move that Venusaur can have as a stab move and with Sun up thanks to Zard Y it fits right in with the rest of the team,
Giga Drain to keep Venusaur fresh in battles and Protect to waste a move.

Tapu Koko @ Electrium Z
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Defog

This little buddy i put in because it has enough power to sweep and be used as a defogger. I think i could of used another team member than KOKO but i know KOKO can do the job right on any team
you put it on. Dazzling Gleam is a great stab move that hits both of your enemies at once and does massave damage to both, Thunderbolt is to help out with those annoying Flying and water type
pokemon that threaten Zard Y, Volt Switch to bring in a partner that will help out when koko is in trouble or needs to retreat from a threat, and Defog to help Zard Y to help keep all the hazards
off the field.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Heal Bell
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock

Last but not least, Clefable being one of the special walls i have on the team. Helping keep the team mates fresh from all types of things, it can help me set up steal rock. I went Leftovers
to help sustain the fights. Dazzling Gleam is a power move for Clefable to help set up the knock out blow by one of the sweepers, Heal Bell which will help heal all the hazards on my team, soft-boiled
well i dont have to say much just to keep it fresh and stealth rock to help set up a hazard.

This is my doubles team that ive been working around with, i have been looking at other team members to replace clefable and maybe KOKO because i have a heavy special team and i need to balance it out more.
Might go with Bold Clefable instead of Calm to have that balance of physical and special walls....Let me know what you think and give me some pointers
ing research on who works well with Zard Y.....Let me know what you think and give me more advice

Personally I would change landorus's moves to hp ice and stone edge from superpower and rock slode. I would also put defog on tapu koko

Welcome to Smogon! I'm locking your RMT for the time being as the forum rules require that you provide in-depth descriptions for each Pokemon to explain their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at Team Showcase to see the level of detail we require. PM me with updated descriptions and I'll be happy to unlock this.
