XY OU Charizard Y + Shaymin core :)

Hello guys, i've been wandering around with this team quite a week now and falling between 1400 and 1200 rating, so i thought there would be someone how i could improve my team to climb!

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Solar Beam
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Roost

My Wallbreaker, one of my win conditions and biggest trump against 4x fire weakness. No one stands a Fireblast without taking high damage. Solar Beam is the obligatory coverage move against water Pokemon that dares to switch reklessly in. Focus Blast to hit especially Heatran to not getting walled by it. Roost to roost of the damage from SR and priority attacks.

shaymin.gif

Shaymin @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Growth
- Seed Flare
- Dazzling Gleam
- Earth Power

This is one of the not so common Pokemon, but in my opinion it fits really well in this team. With Drought + Growth i become a SD+NP in one, even though i dont use the physical attack. Seed Flare hits hard with a 40% chance to lower the special defense, so Charizard can switch in and can more likely get OHKO on specially defensive pokemon. Dazzling Gleam to hit (Mega)Sableeye. Earth Power for coverage and get damage on Bisharp, Heatran etc.

crawdaunt.gif

Crawdaunt @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off
- Crabhammer

Crawdaunt, one of the pokemon i really never understand. It can hit like a truck and one hit everything after an Dragon Dance, but sometimes i feel its to fragile. Dragon Dance raises attack and speed so i don`t have to use Aqua jet, with its pretty low base attack. Aqua jet is here for priority against Tflame and other faster threats. Knock off OHKO pretty much everything not resisted and not bulky at +1. Crabhammer when i can outspeed them and deal serious damage.
weezing.gif

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Sludge Bomb
- Toxic Spikes

I don't get why it's so unpopular, it can safetly switch into Lando-T and cripple it with WoW. It checks many of the meta right now and is an undestroyable wall against any Fighting type. It even survives Psyshock from Latios and can attack back with Pain Split/WoW. It has a good defensive and offensive synergy with Crawdaunt. WoW to cripple any offensive threat. Pain Split for recovery. Sludge Bomb for STAB and T-Spikes to cripple any switch in.

raikou.gif

Raikou @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 32 SpD / 224 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball

So, i need an spdef mon that hits hard and fast, also an reliable Bird check. Raiko fulfill it's role pretty solid, is a good Gengar check and kills every x4 Ice weakness on the switch in. Thunderbolt is the main attack, as it hits pretty hard. Volt Switch to deal chip damage and to pivot out to an other counter. Hidden Power Ice is there to make sure i'm not walled by Garchomp, Lando, Gliscor etc. Shadow Ball hits Alakazam, Gengar, (Aegislash) etc.

landorus-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- U-turn

Yeah i needed an SR setter, but i`m not happy with him as he is. Choice Scar + SR is meh. The other role he fulfills is really good, but not this. Edgequake hits almost everything, U-turn is there to pivot out and scout. Here i would wish for an alternative mon, but i think i need an Scarf user...

Thanks for reading this and i hope u guys could help me out!

Cool team. However I have a couple of suggestions that should benefit the team. First off, if you are running stealth rocks with a scarf, you will be giving your opponent a free turn. So I would suggest that you change the scarf set to the defensive one. This will help against the massive talonflame weakness the team has, because talonflame happily comes in on choice locked Lando-t, weezing and shaymin, sets up a swords dance and then proceeds to hand you your ass on a plate. Also your team lacks a spinner/ defogger which is a must on any team that has charizard. You could replace weezing with skarmory. This will still leave you with a physical wall as well as a decent defogger. You could also give skarm SR and keep the scarf on Lando-t. Lastly imo, azumarrill would do a much better job than crawdaunt as a priority sweeper.

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers / Choice Scarf
EVs : 248 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe (or if you use the scarf) 252 Atk / 24 Def / 232 Spe
Ability : Intimidate
Impish / Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock / Superpower / Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / Rock Slide
- U-Turn

Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet / Leftovers
EVs : 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Ability : Sturdy
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock / Brave Bird
- Roost
- Whirlwind / Taunt
- Counter / Iron Head

Azumarrill @ Choice Band / Assault Vest
EVs : 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe (or for the AV) 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Ability : Huge Power
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower / Knock Off

Hope I helped :)

Thanks, i test those changes with Azumarril and Skarmory, letting Landorus scarfed!

Edit: i found out im really weak to Vega-Venu, especially if Fireblast miss. -.-

Change dazzling gleam on shaymin for psychic, cause if you have azu, mega Sableye shouldn't be an issue. After a growth boost, it should OHKO mega venu. Another alternative is to keep BB on skarm over counter.
