Basically this is quite a Sun Team, trying to use uncommon pokemon, and only pokemon i like (prefer to use non legendaries pokemon).
Let's start.
006-mega-y.gif

Charizard (M) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
Level: 50
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Overheat
- Heat Wave
- Solar Beam
- Protect

I choose Char Y as my core, as i think he is strongest lead, he can tank a lot of special sweeper, resist his water weakness with drought and spam boosted fire moves.
I prefer modest to timid as my objective is to spam powerful heat wave, and thanks to talonflame's tailwind this tactic is more effective.
Moves explained:

-Overheat is my last chance move, used to kill some pokemon in particular condition (kangaskhan, landorus in particular)
-Heat Wave is my main move, perfect for spamming in vgc, capable of OHKO a lot of pokemon, in couple can kill in one turn all enemies couple of pokemon.
-Solar beam is for coverage, can hit strong Miltoic, Rotom-w, T-tar.
-Protect of course is for predict.

003.gif

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 76 SpA / 52 SpD / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder
- Protect

Venusaur is really strong with char y, his speed is doubled and could help with put pokemon sleeping with sleep powder.
I aimed to reinforce the bulk to spam as more as possible sleep powder.
Venusarite is in case char y is not usable against some enemy, and can make mega Venusaur a good lead with evs used specially for this condition (i need an help to have a good compromise of speed evs to both form)

Talk about moves:

-Giga drain is a good stab moves that helps venusaur staying alive
-Sludge Bomb is helpful against fairy type with good power with acces to spam boost
-Sleep powder is his main move, helping allies to hit hard in combination with allies' protect
-Protect is helpful to a change of tactic for allies, ad of course to protect.

663.gif

Talonflame (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Quick Guard
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind

I need Talonflame with his access to gale wings, i think he's a good support, supporting core against common fake out user and helping with his priority tailwind but can hit really hard some tedious pokemon like venusaur or amoonguss, adamant and life orb are helpful to make more damage possible.
His moves explanation:

-Brave Bird and -Flare Blitz hit really hard, one with priority and the other with CharY Drought's boost
-Quick Guard is essential against team with Kangaskhan as his fake out hits very hard, and quick guard makes him fragile against char y overheat.
-Tailwind helps my scarfed and fast pokemon against enemies scarfed or fast pokemon

130.gif

Gyarados @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Atk / 108 Def / 44 SpD / 52 Spe
Impish Nature
- Waterfall
- Taunt/Stone Edge
- Thunder Wave
- Protect

Gyarados is a good tank, accessing to thunder wave for speed control and power up raichu with is ability, he works also as a trap to thundurus' electic moves switching in to raichu to gain boost and neutralize moves like thunder wave.
I use Sitrus berry as Gyarados resists to a lot of moves, so with sitrus berry he is more helpful, also with his access to intimidate that help with switch against strong physicall sweeper.
His moves:

-Waterfall could help against rain team as its a good stab move for gyarados boosted by rain
-Taunt helps against trick room team as it block the move really fast with tailwind
-Stone Edge against charizard Y under the sun or to OHKO Talonflame.
-Protect if i cant switch in raichu in that turn covering electric moves.

530.gif

Excadrill (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Shadow Claw/or anything else

I thought a lot about a pokemon who resists rock type as my team is not really covered to this type, i tried some pokemon but Excadrill not only resists the rock , but when scarfed is more dangerous than a bulky pokemon and is my only chance to kill Heatran.
Now talk about moves:

-Earthquake is main move OHKO a lot of pokemon in couple with char's heat wave, as i wrote before, its my only chance to kill heatran (after raichu's fake out if with baloon)
-Iron Head to hit bulky fairy type and pokemon who cannot be hit by EQ
-Rock slide for Flying pokemon and for OHKO char and talonflame
-Shadow Claw is not so useful but its my way to OHKO gengar (any other moves is accepted)

026.gif

Raichu (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Lightning Rod
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fake Out
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Protect

Raichu is really umpredictable, really useful, fastast fake out user and my coverage against electric type, focus sash is for its fragile body but with protect and fake out he is really hard to kill (focus sash is for resist two times, using protect second time, excadrill EQ) timid to outspeed quite all pokemon except for talonflame.

-Fake out really useful as i explained before, block landorus while charizard hits with heat wave
-Thunderbolt or Thunder, don't know yet, hit hard, if +1 spA (with lighting rod), pokemon like milotic and make good damage against other.
-HP ice hits hard flying dragon as salamance, OHKO with +1, and covering against grass type and ground.
-Protect can help resisting EQ, to scout thundurus moves and to understand if enemies are scarfed.

Hi there! Unfortunately I'll have to lock this as your descriptions are rather lacking and not up to the standard required by the RMT rules. You need to provide in-depth descriptions for each Pokemon to explain your choices and their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at other RMTs and the RMT archive to see the kind of detail and format we require before posting a thread here. PM me with updated descriptions and I'll be happy to unlock this.

3 weak to electric, and other 3 weak to ground. doubles will have lots of earthquakers.
i find falonflame wont do much more than the team already does with charizard, gale wings brave bird is not enough to dedicate a spot on the team.
if you need tailwind support there are other non flyings you could use, like whimsicott
whimsy can punish fake outs with ENCORE
is the fastest prankster who can learn taunt.
and if you are afraid of amoonguss, whimy learns WORRY SEED which can be used to protect charizard by changing his ability to insomnia AND can be used on enemy kanga, and other ability reliant poke. this will drop the enemy's damage output

I am kinda concerned about your teams weakness to Ground and Rock, as well as Electric once that Raichu is gone
Basically once a Landorus, Garchomp, Terrakion or Mamoswine (Which most run Choice Scarf) lands a clean Rockslide or EQ your team is going to hurt big time

Part of me wants to recommend if you need Tailwind rather go with Whimsicott or Aerodactyl

Maybe Tailwind,Ice Fang, Skydrop, Rocklide Aerodactyl
That's just off the top of my head

Since nobody has mentioned it, your EV Spread is kinda bland for Mega Charizard Y. While 252/252/4 does the job, it won't be able to take as many hits as it should. So, I suggest you use the set below:
Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 188 HP / 44 Def / 116 SpA / 4 SpD / 156 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Solar Beam
- Heat Wave
- Protect
- Overheat
This set does extremely well for me as it is the Mega Charizard spread I use. It most noticeably survives a Jolly 252 Atk Mega-Kangaskhan Return.

252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Return vs. 188 HP / 44 Def Mega Charizard Y: 148-175 (83.6 - 98.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

This just shows how bulky this EV Spread is. Also, Shadow Claw should never be used ever on Excadrill and Choice Scarf isn't that good for Excadrill because of its monstrous Speed anyways. Therfore, I suggest using Life Orb over Choice Scarf and Protect over Shadow Claw on Excadrill. This allows Excadrill to have a little bit more longetivity. And then you say, "what about my Talonflame? It has Life Orb." And to you I say, scrap Talonflame altogether. Instead, I suggest using Cresselia or Rotom-Wash over Talonflame. Cresselia can give Helping Hand Support as well as stop Trick Room teams as well as being immune to Earthquake and take Fighting Type attacks. Rotom-Wash on the other hand can help deal with Landorus-Therian because Sun Teams don't appreciate Landorus-T, as well as also being immune to Earthquake.

Cresselia @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Bold Nature
- Icy Wind / Thunder Wave / Trick Room
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Moonlight / Ice Beam
- Helping Hand / Safeguard / Moonlight

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 SpA
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest

Hey there, pretty sweet team you have man! There are definitely a few things I would change up though. I read that you don't want to use legendaries, but I don't see the point in limiting yourself like that, especially in VGC when you play to win; so you kind of have to abandon the thought of winning with your favorite Pokemon. Regardless, I'll try to improve your team without using legends but let me know if you're cool with legends again and I can give it another rate.

For starters, Charizard Y has so much more potential than just a standard 252/252 spread. I suggest changing Charizard's spread to Level 51's spread of 252 HP / 4 Def / 44 SpA / 20 SpD / 188 Spe with a Modest Nature. 44 Special Attack may look like very little investment, but Charizard under Sun already hits stupid hard and anything that Heat Wave/Overheat doesn't OHKO is usually 2HKOed anyways. The Speed allows Charizard to outrun Adamant Landorus by 1 point while the defensive investment allows Charizard to survive Choice Specs Hydreigon's Draco Meteor. Jolly Kangaskhan's Return also only has a .4% chance to OHKO, while Overheat is a guaranteed OHKO on Kangaskhan.

  • 252 Atk Garchomp Rock Slide vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Mega Charizard Y: 156-184 (84.3 - 99.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252+ SpA Choice Specs Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 20 SpD Mega Charizard Y: 154-183 (83.2 - 98.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • 252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Return vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Mega Charizard Y: 155-186 (83.7 - 100.5%) -- 0.4% chance to OHKO
  • 44+ SpA Mega Charizard Y Overheat vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Mega Kangaskhan in Sun: 186-220 (102.7 - 121.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Your spread for Venusaur also isn't the most efficient, as it was made for defensive Mega Venusaur, not Sun Venusaur. I suggest changing the spread to lucariojr's spread of 188 HP / 252 SpA / 68 Spe with a Modest Nature. This spread allows Venusaur to outrun Adamant Choice Scarf Landorus under Sun while still having respectable bulk in Mega forme.

Another minor thing that should be changed is using Protect over Quick Guard on Talonflame. Quick Guard is usually something you use over Tailwind. Protect is honestly too important for Talonflame to give up. Quick Guard on the other hand, is more of a luxury if anything. It's shaky against Kangaskhan's Fake Out because not every Kangaskhan runs Fake Out. In fact, it's probably a 50/50 split between Fake Out and Protect. One misprediction like that can take you out of the game turn 1.

Now for bigger changes, I suggest changing out Gyarados with Aegislash. Aegislash gives your team much better support, as it is a reliable Trick Room answer and has Wide Guard to help against Rock Slide. The thing with Gyarados is that it's support is pretty unnecessary. You already have Speed Control in the form of Talonflame and Waterfall will be weakened under Sun anyways so it isn't even an immediate answer to Heatran. It also makes your team a lot weaker to Landorus-T and Rock Slide spam in general. Although Aegislash doesn't help with Heatran, I'll be making two future changes in the RMT that will help immensely with your Heatran matchup so it isn't too much of a worry. A spread of 252 HP / 100 SpA / 156 SpD with a Quiet Nature allows Aegislash to tank a Hydreigon's Specs Dark Pulse and have a high chance to KO back with a +2 Flash Cannon, thanks to Weakness Policy.

  • 252+ SpA Choice Specs Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 156 SpD Aegislash-Shield: 138-164 (82.6 - 98.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
  • +2 100+ SpA Aegislash-Blade Flash Cannon vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Hydreigon: 165-195 (98.2 - 116%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

As an Electric-type, Rotom-W will benefit your team a lot more than Raichu. I get that Raichu has Lightningrod and Fake Out, but really, outside of that what else is Raichu doing? Its support is pretty unnecessary considering the only Electric-type move it'll be redirecting from is Thundurus, Rotom-H, and Rotom-W. Rotom-H and Rotom-W still beats Raichu 1v1 regardless of the boost so the only thing it'll help with is Thundurus, which Rotom-W pretty much beats 1v1. Rotom-W also gives your team a MUCH better Landorus-T and Heatran answer, as it is pretty much a complete counter against them. The spread that I've been using is shrop05's spread of 252 HP / 124 Def / 76 SpA / 36 SpD / 20 Spe with a Calm Nature which allows Rotom-W to tank Timid Charizard Y's Solar Beam and ensures the OHKO on Talonflame with Thunderbolt, so you don't have to risk anything by going for Hydro Pump.

  • 252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Solar Beam vs. 252 HP / 36+ SpD Rotom-W: 132-156 (84 - 99.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Sitrus Berry recovery
  • 76 SpA Rotom-W Thunderbolt vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Talonflame: 156-186 (101.2 - 120.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Finally I suggest changing out Excadrill with Garchomp. Garchomp is pretty much Landorus Jr. (even though I think Garchomp is WAYYY better), as it hits pretty much what Landorus hits while also offering more. Garchomp, as a Ground-type, is much better than Excadrill, as it isn't forced to run Choice Scarf in order to ensure you outspeed Charizard Y and Heatran. Garchomp also offers Dragon STAB, which is crucial for your team, as you lack any way of hitting Dragon-types for super effective damage. Aegislash helps with Fairy-types already so you don't have to worry about losing that coverage that Excadrill offered.

This was pretty long haha. The Trick Room matchup is still a bit shaky so be sure to preserve Aegislash when playing against it. Hope I helped man and good luck with the team!!! :]

It looks solid, but I would change a couple of things:

I would get rid of Talonflame altogether, because there isn't too much that it can do that Zard Y can't. Having one pokemon with a 4x weakness to rock is risky already, let alone two (Landorus-T is everywhere). If you need a Tailwind user, both Whimsicott and Suicune are great pokemon that can set it up. Whimsicott outspeeds Thunderus's Taunt and can set up Tailwind quickly, while Suicune can take tons of hits while Charizard clears out any grass types that threaten Suicune.

I would replace Raichu with Hitmontop (weird choice, I know!), and here's why: Rock Slide. If you're running Charizard Y, you have to have a response for the common Rock Slide users, mainly Landorus. Hitmontop gets Fake Out on top of Feint, Wide Guard, Quick Guard, and Helping Hand, which can boost Heat Waves to sky-high levels. It also gets the nifty Intimidate, which can neutralize some physical leads like Kangaskhan.

Venusaur shouldn't be holding its Mega Stone for this team-it can do a lot more with Leftovers, or anything that boosts its bulk. Venusaur is probably one of the most consistent leads to go in with Charizard Y, and it's a great wall against rain teams (I get that you have Gyarados, but you'll need more than one pokemon to support you against rain).

Good luck!

i think you should keep raichu, but drop hiden power ice for encore as you can use it to punish more when combined with lightingrod.

I'll second most of DaAwesomeDude1 's reccomendations but replacing the item of Garchomp for a Yache Berry.
Sad to say, but Thundurus does win the 1v1 against Rotom-W as both Thunderbolt are either a 3HKO (bulky variants) or a 2HKO (Life Orb variants), which makes the task of checking Thundurus better a necessity. You will be using Garchomp to switch into multiple attacks, most notably, Heatran's Heat Wave and Rock Slide from everything that uses it, making Garchomp's Focus Sash useless in some scenarios. Yache Berry helps with this issue, as it lets Garchomp survive Thundurus' Hidden Power Ice and hit back with a Rock Slide, putting it in range for your partners to pick it up. That's all i got to say! Watch out for those Landorus-T!
