Chatot's poor defensive stats, weakness to Stealth Rock, and middling Speed tier allow it to be easily revenge killed. Additionally, Chatot is reliant on Boomburst to deal significant damage, leaving it completely walled by most Ghost-types such as Jellicent. Chatot is also outclassed as a Choice Scarf user by Pokemon such as Dodrio and as a wallbreaker by Pokemon such as Drampa.
