Due to Arcanine's Stealth Rock weakness, hazard prevention options such as Espeon, Tatsugiri, Frosmoth, and Alolan Sandslash are essential, as they allow Arcanine to switch in as often as possible while in return Arcanine can use Pokemon such as Hisuian Decidueye and Paldean Tauros-F that check these Pokemon as switchin opportunities.
