Choice Band Hydreigon[QC 0/3]

665.png

[OVERVIEW]
Since Hydreigon has always been known as a special attacker, why not run a banded set? Not outclassed by Haxorus because Hydreigon has a wider movepool. Unexpecting Blissey comes in to take a Draco Meteor, and takes an Outrage to the face.

[SET]
Ability:Levitate
Item:Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4HP/252Spd/252Atk
Moves:
Crunch
Outrage
U-Turn
Earthquake/Head Smash/Fire Fang

[SET COMMENTS]
- Crunch is a STAB move to hit Alakazam and Reuniclus
- Outrage is another STAB move to hit Salamence and Dragonite
- U-Turn is a move to scout, or hit pure grass types
- Earthquake to hit Magnezone and other steel types
- Head smash to hit flying types
- Fire Fang for the likes of Skarmory or Ferrothorn
- Completely wrecks Blissey expecting Draco Meteor

[CHECKS AND COUNTERS]
- Destroys special walls like Blissey who expect a special attack
- Vaporeon can take an Outrage and hit back with Ice Beam
- Anything with priority Ice Shard can kill you in at least 2 hits

You should really emphasize the things that Hydreigon has over other physical Dragons so it might even have a chance of getting on site. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure if it's good enough to warrant an on-site article, but I hope you can prove me wrong!

Well, for starters, Hydreigon has the widest movepool of all of the dragons, including U-Turn, all of the elemental fangs, and Head Smash. Also, base 105 attack stat is still pretty good for any pokemon, so I think that Hydreigon deserves a Choice Band set. It throws so many people off guard....

I can't see this thing doing the job better than Haxorus, even with its immunities to Spikes etc. It's just, I can't see this thing working in practice. :P
Maybe some logs to prove me wrong?
