[SET COMMENTS]
Unfezant is a powerful wallbreaker, able to devastate teams without sturdy Flying-resistant Pokemon such as Rhydon or Coalossal with Choice Band-boosted STAB Brave Bird. U-turn enables Unfezant to pivot out against Stunfisk, Piloswine, and Klinklang, keeping momentum and chipping them. Quick Attack finishes off weakened faster foes like Cinccino and Basculin. Night Slash lets Unfezant OHKO Rotom. Facade instead becomes a very powerful STAB move if Unfezant gets statused. Super Luck gives it better chances to break through Double Dance Alcremie if the latter has gained a Defense boost prior.
Unfezant fits well in offensive teams due to its great power, good Speed tier, and mediocre bulk. It struggles to break past sturdy Flying-resistant Pokemon like Klinklang and Coalossal and could potentially lose momentum against them. Water- and Electric-types pair particularly well, as Pokemon like Wishiwashi, Basculin, and Raichu can force them out with their STAB or coverage moves and bring Unfezant in safely with their pivot moves. In return, Unfezant can form a VoltTurn core with them and force out Grass-types such as Eldegoss, Tangela, and Gourgeist-S, which pressure them. Spikes users, such as Qwilfish and Coalossal, wear down its checks, many of which lack reliable recovery. Entry hazard control from the likes of Eldegoss, Rotom, and Hattrem can ameliorate its Stealth Rock weakness. Hattrem in particular synergizes well, as it can threaten Rhydon and Stunfisk with Giga Drain. Special wallbreakers like Rotom, Basculin, and Jynx can overwhelm physical walls like Rhydon, Pyukumuku, and Miltank that Unfezant has difficulty breaking through. Other Flying-type wallbreakers, like Silvally-Flying and Rotom-S, can overwhelm their checks with repeated STAB Flying-type moves and coverage options.

Other Options
=============
A utility set with Heavy-Duty Boots, Roost, and Defog is feasible, as this set gives Unfezant reliable recovery and allows it to be an offensive entry hazard remover. However, the listed sets more naturally play to Unfezant's strengths, and this set struggles even more against hazard setters like Coalossal, Rhydon, and Qwilfish due to its reliance on Heavy-Duty Boots.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Rock- and Steel-types**: Rhydon, Coalossal, Perrserker, and Klinklang resist Unfezant's STAB moves, fear none of its coverage, and threaten OHKOs or significant damage with their STAB moves. Rhydon and Coalossal can also set or remove entry hazards, and Coalossal's Flame Body deters Unfezant from pivoting or attacking. However, Perrserker and Klinklang can be worn down by the Choice Band set and fail to reliably switch in later on.
**Stealth Rock**: Unfezant’s weakness to Stealth Rock and recoil from Brave Bird quickly wear it down, causing it to faint rather quickly.
**Electric-types**: Electric-types like Rotom formes and Stunfisk can stomach a hit from both Unfezant sets and threaten to OHKO in return with their super effective STAB moves. Stunfisk also has Static to discourage Unfezant from pivoting with U-turn. However, Rotom must be aware of Night Slash from the Choice Band set.
**Faster Offensive Threats**: While none of them can safely switch in, Pokemon like Jynx, Rapidash, and Choice Scarf Sawk and Rotom can KO Choice Band Unfezant with minimal to no prior chip damage due to its mediocre bulk. However, they must also be aware of Choice Scarf sets, which they can't check.
