With decent Attack and Speed paired with strong STAB moves, Tauros-Paldea-Blaze makes for a threatening wallbreaker with Choice Band or decent revenge killer with Choice Scarf, depending on what a team needs. Close Combat is Tauros-Paldea-Blaze's most spammable move as it lacks the recoil of Flare Blitz. However, Flare Blitz has the bonus of there being no Fire immunities outside of the rare Flash Fire Arcanine. Earthquake provides coverage for resists such as Salazzle, Delphox, and Qwilfish. It also is not a contact move, allowing it to ignore Qwilfish's Rocky Helmet, Skuntank's Aftermath, and Coalossal's Flame Body if tera'd. Finally, it can hit targets such as Tera Poison Milotic slightly harder than Flare Blitz without the recoil. Stone Edge hits remaining resistances such as Cramorant and has a chance to OHKO Rotom-Heat with Choice Band. Wild Charge can also be run in this slot to hit Water-types such as Cramorant without the risk of missing and OHKOes Bruxish with Choice Band or after Stealth Rock with Choice Scarf. Tauros-Paldea-Blaze's Tera of choice focuses on improving its offenses rather than its defenses, choosing between one of its STAB moves to boost. Tera Fighting also keeps useful resistances to moves like Bombirdier's Sucker Punch and loses weakness to moves like Bruxish's Aqua Jet. Tera Fighting also makes Tauros-Paldea-Blaze resist Stealth Rock while Tera Fire makes it weak to it. However, loss of Fire-typing also loses the immunity to burns. Tera Fire allows Tauros-Paldea-Blaze to tank previous weaknesses to moves like Espeon's Psyshock and Bombirdier's Brave Bird. Tera Electric is also an option, but should only be used alongside Wild Charge, impressively OHKOing Milotic with Choice Band and little prior damage.
Tauros-Paldea-Blaze fits well on balance and bulky offense teams, both of which appreciate Choice Band's power and Choice Scarf's speed, whichever route you go.
