Choice Specs Hoopa-U is an incredibly threatening special wallbreaker, especially to slower and more defensive teams, that is able to OHKO the majority of the tier and 2HKO essentially every other relevant Pokemon. This is thanks to Hoopa-U's astronomically high Special Attack stat and potent dual STAB combination. Focus Blast rounds out its coverage, allowing Hoopa-U to hit Dark-types like Ting-Lu, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott; Focus Blast also OHKOes specially defensive Heatran after entry hazard chip. Trick can be run in the fourth slot to cripple the few special walls that Hoopa-U is unable to reliably blast through, like Blissey, Scream Tail, and Alolan Muk, while also affording Hoopa-U the ability to switch moves, alleviating the need for prediction in exchange for less immediate power. Alternatively, Thunderbolt can be used instead as Hoopa-U's best option to hit Corviknight and Galarian Moltres while also providing a more reliable option than Focus Blast to OHKO Hisuian Samurott and Greninja. A Timid nature makes Hoopa-U faster than Pokemon like Timid Heatran, Modest Gholdengo, and Timid Volcanion, while a Modest nature gives Hoopa-U even more breaking power so that it is able to potentially 2HKO Blissey and Alolan Muk with Focus Blast after entry hazard damage. Tera Dark increases the power of Dark Pulse, giving it an opportunity to 2HKO Scream Tail and specially defensive Heatran while also threatening to OHKO Baxcalibur, bulky Cinderace, and defensive Landorus-T. Tera Dark also makes Hoopa-U resist Dark-type attacks, which can prevent Kingambit from answering it with Sucker Punch. Quick special attackers like Choice Specs Dragapult, Iron Valiant, and Enamorus make good teammates, as they appreciate Hoopa-U's ability to break through even the bulkiest of specially defensive walls. One of Hoopa-U's biggest flaws is that its physical frailty and crippling 4x weakness to U-turn can make it difficult for it to safely be brought onto the field. As a result, Hoopa-U greatly benefits from being paired alongside pivots that can facilitate its entry, like Galarian Slowking with Chilly Reception, Landorus-T, Dragapult, and Sneasler with U-turn, and Rotom-W and Zapdos with Volt Switch. Paralysis support from Thunder Wave users like Rotom-W, Substitute Dragapult, and defensive Gholdengo can help alleviate Hoopa-U's lackluster Speed and make previously faster threats easy targets. Static Zapdos synergizes particularly well with Hoopa-U in this regard, since Zapdos can be switched in on U-turns directed at Hoopa-U from faster Pokemon like Cinderace, Sneasler, and Meowscarada and offers the chance to paralyze those targets, making them slower than Hoopa-U. Hoopa-U also appreciates the inclusion of hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Ting-Lu, Landorus-T, and Heatran, allowing it to punch holes in defensive backbones more easily and damage the opposing team thanks to the switches it forces. Some of the most difficult Pokemon for Hoopa-U to handle are opposing Dark-types like Kingambit, Roaring Moon, Ting-Lu, and Hisuian Samurott because they can force Hoopa-U to rely on Focus Blast and good prediction to break through. To help mitigate this issue, Pokemon that can reliably switch into Dark-types like Great Tusk, Zamazenta, and Azumarill also make good partners for Hoopa-U, and in return they appreciate Choice Specs Hoopa-U's ability to threaten physical walls as well. Bulk Up Great Tusk and Belly Drum Azumarill can also clean up late-game after Hoopa-U wears down the opposing team.

Choice Specs Hoopa-U is a threatening special wallbreaker, especially to slower and more defensive teams archetypes like Stall and Balance, that, with proper prediction, simply to say it can 2HKO is enough, as prediction has nothing to do with actual damage output. is able to 2HKO many of the most common special walls in the tier, such as Ting-Lu, Assault Vest Slowking-Galar, Heatran, Assault Vest Toxapex, Clodsire, and Moltres. Dark Pulse is an easy to spam STAB move, which coming off of Hoopa-U's massive Special Attack stat and further boosted by Choice Specs, can dismantle the defensive backbones of teams that rely on Pokemon such as Slowking-Galar, Moltres, or Rotom-W as their checks to special attackers. The 20% flinch chance of Dark Pulse also gives Hoopa-U an opportunity to muscle past slower Pokemon like Clodsire and specially defensive Heatran that are able to withstand two Dark Pulses. Probably mention that the 20% chance to flinch can’t usually be relied on but rather has a niche in sometimes safely 3HKOing aforementioned foes. Psychic is Hoopa-U's strongest attack against a neutral target and is a nice complementary STAB move to pair alongside Dark Pulse since it OHKOs Fighting types that resist Dark, like Great Tusk and Zamazenta; Psychic also lets Hoopa-U get past Fairies Fairy-Types by OHKOing Enamorus and 2HKOing Assault Vest Azumarill. Focus Blast is an important coverage option that allows Hoopa-U to break through Dark types like Ting-Lu, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott that resist Dark Pulse and are immune to Psychic; Focus Blast also OHKOs specially defensive Heatran that has been slightly chipped after Stealth Rock or Spikes chip. Trick can be run in the fourth slot to cripple the few special walls that Hoopa-U is unable to reliably blast through, like Blissey, Scream Tail, and Alolan Muk, while Thunderbolt can be used instead to give Hoopa-U a guaranteed way to OHKO Pokemon like Moltres-Galar, Enamorus-Therian, physically defensive Corviknight, and Volcanion. A Timid nature makes Hoopa-U faster than Pokemon like Timid Heatran, Modest Gholdengo, and Timid Volcanion, while a Modest nature gives Hoopa-U even more breaking power so that it is then able to use Focus Blast to usually 2HKO Blissey and an Alolan Muk that has received marginal chip damage after hazard chip Hazard chipping is better to mention since it implies the partnership of hazard setters, and gives a better idea as to how much damage is necessary. Tera Dark increases the power of Dark Pulse even more to further facilitate Hoopa-U's wallbreaking potential by giving it an opportunity to 2HKO Scream Tail, specially defensive Heatran, and more often than not, Clodsire. Tera Dark also makes Hoopa-U resist Dark attacks, which can prevent Kingambit from answering it with Sucker Punch. Other prominent special attackers like Choice Specs Dragapult, Iron Valiant, Enamorus, offensive Zapdos, Greninja, Iron Moth, and Moltres-Galar make good teammates to pair with Hoopa-U because they benefit from Hoopa-U eliminating or severally weakening specially defensive Pokemon like Clodsire, Slowking-Galar, Ting-Lu, Heatran, Toxapex, and Moltres, which could otherwise be roadblocks for them. This could use a little rephrasing to specify that the strategy is to lure in and wear down special walls with attackers they want to switch into short-term. One of Hoopa-U's biggest flaws is that its physical frailty and middling speed can make it difficult for it to safely be brought onto the field to get it into battle and stay in against faster attackers. As a result, Hoopa-U benefits from being paired alongside pivots that can facilitate its entry, like (Chilly Reception Slowking-Galar, U-turn from Landorus-T, Dragapult, Sneasler, Cinderace, and Moltres, and Volt Switch from Rotom-W and Zapdos. ) There’s kind of a lot here. I would make sure to emphasize the ones that invite in the foes Hoopa-U can KO that you mentioned earlier. For example, Dragapult and Zapdos invite in Ting-Lu and Heatran, Slowking-G switches into Sneasler and Zapdos, and Landorus-T can lure in Flying-type walls like Zapdos, the Moltreses, and opposing Landorus. Paralysis support from Thunder Wave users like Rotom-W, Substitute Dragapult, and defensive Gholdengo can help alleviate Hoopa-U's lackluster speed and make previously faster threats easy targets for Hoopa-U. Static Zapdos synergizes particularly well with Hoopa-U in this regard, since Zapdos can be switched in on U-turns directed at Hoopa-U from faster Pokemon like Cinderace, Sneasler, and Dragapult and offers the chance to paralyze those targets, making them no longer outspeed Hoopa-U. Hoopa-U also appreciates the inclusion of hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Ting-Lu, Landorus-T, and Heatran since hazards make it even easier for Hoopa-U to punch holes in opposing teams. These have a few other notable synergies with Hoop; Heatran lures in special walls and can use Magma Storm to prevent them from double-switching out of Hoopa and chip them into KO range. Hisuian Samurott lures in and wears down resistant Dark-types with Ceaseless Edge, and can hard switch into them short-term with its resistances. Some of the most difficult Pokemon for Hoopa-U to handle are opposing Dark types like Kingambit, Roaring Moon, Ting-Lu, and Hisuian Samurott because they can force Hoopa-U to rely on the relative inaccuracy of Focus Blast and good prediction to break through. To help mitigate this issue, Pokemon that can reliably switch into Dark types like Great Tusk, Zamazenta, Azumarill, and Low Kick Kingambit also make good partners for Hoopa-U, while those physical attacking Pokemon appreciate Choice Specs Hoopa-U's ability to threaten physical walls as well. The last synergetic teammates I would mention are ones that provide speed control, such as Iron Valiant, Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Gholdengo, and priority attackers like Dragonite, since they can take out faster attackers that keep Hoop out of battle, which can potentially give it the chance to clean up late-game. Valiant is probably the best one since it can go mixed and handle Dark-types really well.
All of it was really accurate. There were mostly extra things that deserved mention.

Ok, thank you. I'm new to writing analyses so I think I may have jumped the gun a little, but I did implement most of what you mentioned; I wasn't sure about the change you suggested regarding the pivots because Hoopa doesn't necessarily want to be coming in on things like Ting-Lu and Zapdos, and Sneasler is likely just going to click U-turn against Hoopa so Slowking-G probably wouldn't have an opportunity to pivot back to Hoopa after switching in, but I may very well not have fully understood that suggestion. Either way, was I not really supposed to implement those changes prior to an "official" QC user saying so?

Dark Pulse is an easy to spam STAB move, which coming off of Hoopa-U's massive Special Attack stat and further boosted by Choice Specs, can dismantle the defensive backbones of teams that rely on Pokemon such as Slowking-Galar, Moltres, or Rotom-W as their checks to special attackers. The 20% flinch chance of Dark Pulse also gives Hoopa-U an opportunity to muscle past slower Pokemon like Clodsire and specially defensive Heatran that are able to withstand two Dark Pulses, although this shouldn't be relied on and is instead a niche option for Hoopa-U to sometimes safely break through these Pokemon. Focus Blast is an important coverage option that allows Hoopa-U to break through Dark types like Ting-Lu, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott that resist Dark Pulse and are immune to Psychic; Focus Blast also OHKOs specially defensive Heatran after Stealth Rock or Spikes chip. Trick can be run in the fourth slot to cripple the few special walls that Hoopa-U is unable to reliably blast through, like Blissey, Scream Tail, and Alolan Muk, allowing hoopa to switch moves needs to be mentioned here while Thunderbolt can be used instead to give Hoopa-U a guaranteed way to OHKO Pokemon like Moltres-Galar, Enamorus-Therian, physically defensive Corviknight, and Volcanion. as Hoopa-U's best option to hit Corviknight and Moltres-Galar, while also providing a more reliable alternative to Focus Blast to OHKO Hisuian Samurott and Greninja. A Timid nature makes Hoopa-U faster than Pokemon like Timid Heatran, Modest Gholdengo, and Timid Volcanion, while a Modest nature gives Hoopa-U even more breaking power so that it is then able to use Focus Blast to usually 2HKO Blissey and Alolan Muk after hazard damage.

Other prominent Quick special attackers like Choice Specs Dragapult, Iron Valiant, Enamorus, offensive Zapdos, Greninja, Iron Moth, and Moltres-Galar make good teammates to pair with Hoopa-U because Hoopa-U forces switches to and severely weakens or eliminates defensive Pokemon like Clodsire, Slowking-Galar, Ting-Lu, Heatran, Toxapex, and Moltres, leaving those Pokemon no longer able to check Hoopa-U's teammates. as they appreciate Hoopa-U's ability to break through even the bulkiest of specially defensive walls, which can help to facilitate a lategame sweep. One of Hoopa-U's biggest flaws is that its physical frailty and middling speed crippling 4x weakness to U-turn can make it difficult for it to safely be brought onto the field. As a result, Hoopa-U greatly benefits from being paired alongside pivots that can facilitate its entry, like Chilly Reception Slowking-Galar, U-turn from Landorus-T, Dragapult, Sneasler, Cinderace, and Moltres, and Volt Switch from Rotom-W and Zapdos. Hoopa-U also appreciates the inclusion of hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Ting-Lu, Landorus-T, and Heatran since hazards make it even easier for Hoopa-U to punch holes in opposing teams also mention how the switches it forces rack up hazard dana; Heatran offers the additional benefit of being able to trap and wear down special walls with Magma Storm and Hisuian Samurott tends to bring in and chip opposing Dark resists with Ceaseless Edge, both of which can weaken the opposing Pokemon that could check Hoopa-U. trying to cut the length of this down, it's only a one paragraph analysis Some of the most difficult Pokemon for Hoopa-U to handle are opposing Dark types like Kingambit, Roaring Moon, Ting-Lu, and Hisuian Samurott because they can force Hoopa-U to rely on the relative inaccuracy of Focus Blast and good prediction to break through. Finally, fast teammates such as Booster Energy or Choice Scarf Iron Valiant and Choice Scarf Meowscarada and Gholdengo, as well as priority attackers like Dragonite are able to pick off faster opposing Pokemon that would otherwise force Hoopa-U out. cutting length

BIG loven

Not so little anymore
I'm glad to see a post dedicated to specs hoopa. Complemented extremely well by Sticky Web. As grand of a move as Trick is, I do believe Psyshock on specs Hoopa is capable of going toe to toe. Aura Sphere would be a great alternative to Focus Blast but we are without it. Focus Blast is crucial on specs Hoopa. Tera Fighting would be
more accurate, but not as powerful. This is an alternative I have never tried.

Some of the most difficult Pokemon for Hoopa-U to handle are opposing Dark-types like Kingambit, Roaring Moon, Ting-Lu, and Hisuian Samurott because they can force Hoopa-U to rely on the relative inaccuracy of Focus Blast and good prediction to break through. To help mitigate this issue, Pokemon that can reliably switch into Dark-types like Great Tusk, Zamazenta, and Azumarill also make good partners for Hoopa-U, while those physical attacking Pokemon and in return they appreciate Choice Specs Hoopa-U's ability to threaten physical walls as well. Bulk Up Great Tusk and Belly Drum Azumarill can also clean up late-game after Hoopa-U wears down the opposing team.

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Specs Hoopa-U is an incredibly threatening special wallbreaker, especially to slower and more defensive teams, that is able to OHKO the majority of the tier and 2HKO essentially every other relevant Pokemon. This is thanks to Hoopa-U's astronomically high Special Attack stat and potent dual STAB combination. Focus Blast rounds out its coverage, allowing Hoopa-U to hit Dark-types like Ting-Lu, Kingambit, and Hisuian Samurott that resist Dark Pulse and are immune to Psychic; Focus Blast also OHKOs OHKOes specially defensive Heatran after Stealth Rock or Spikes entry hazard chip. Alternatively, Thunderbolt can be used instead as Hoopa-U's best option to hit Corviknight and Moltres-Galar;(RC) Galarian Moltres while also providing a more reliable alternative to Focus Blast to OHKO Hisuian Samurott and Greninja. A Timid nature makes Hoopa-U faster than Pokemon like Timid Heatran, Modest Gholdengo, and Timid Volcanion, while a Modest nature gives Hoopa-U even more breaking power so that it is then able to use Focus Blast to usually potentially 2HKO Blissey and Alolan Muk with Focus Blast after entry hazard damage. Tera Dark increases the power of Dark Pulse by ,(AC) giving it an opportunity to 2HKO Scream Tail and specially defensive Heatran,(RC) while also threatening to OHKO Baxcalibur, bulky Cinderace, and defensive Landorus-T. Tera Dark also makes Hoopa-U resist Dark-type attacks, which can prevent Kingambit from answering it with Sucker Punch. Quick special attackers like Choice Specs Dragapult, Iron Valiant, and Enamorus make good teammates,(AC) as they appreciate Hoopa-U's ability to break through even the bulkiest of specially defensive walls. One of Hoopa-U's biggest flaws is that its physical frailty and crippling 4x weakness to U-turn can make it difficult for it to safely be brought onto the field. As a result, Hoopa-U greatly benefits from being paired alongside pivots that can facilitate its entry, like Chilly Reception Slowking-Galar Galarian Slowking with Chilly Reception, U-turn from Landorus-T, Dragapult, and Sneasler with U-turn, and Volt Switch from Rotom-W and Zapdos with Volt Switch. Paralysis support from Thunder Wave users like Rotom-W, Substitute Dragapult, and defensive Gholdengo can help alleviate Hoopa-U's lackluster speed Speed and make previously faster threats easy targets for Hoopa-U. Static Zapdos synergizes particularly well with Hoopa-U in this regard, since Zapdos can be switched in on U-turns directed at Hoopa-U from faster Pokemon like Cinderace, Sneasler, and Meowscarada and offers the chance to paralyze those targets, making them no longer outspeed slower than Hoopa-U. Hoopa-U also appreciates the inclusion of hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Ting-Lu, Landorus-T, and Heatran since hazards make it even easier for Hoopa-U to punch holes in defensive backbones and the switches that Hoopa-U forces spreads hazard damage across the opposing team ,(AC) allowing it to punch holes in defensive backbones more easily and damage the opposing team thanks to the switches it forces.
