* Draco Meteor is Kyurem's strongest Dragon-type stab, blasting neutral foes, such as slower non-Assault Vest Great Tusks and Balloon Volcanion, as well as slower dragons, such as non-Haban Berry Raging Bolt
* Ice Beam hits Ground-types such as both Landorus formes and Ursaluna, Grass-types such as Rillaboom and Serperior, as well as being its best move against Haban Berry Raging Bolt.
* Freeze dry gives it a strong move to use against water type foes such as Ogerpon-Wellspring and non-Outrage Dondozo.
* Earth power gives it consistency into Assault Vest Volcanion, but Flash Cannon may be used instead to defeat Diancie.
* The EVs allow it to surive Overheat from Modest Choice Specs Volcanion, with Speed investment to outspeed Base 80s such as Hoopa-Unbound.
* Kyurem struggles into faster dragons such as Haxorus and Dragapult, Fighting Types such as both Urshifu formes and Iron Valiant, Steel types such as Metagross and Iron Valiant and Fairy Types such as Sylveon. Thus, fairy types such as Primarina, and Fire types such as Volcanion and Iron Moth pair well with it.
