- Volt Switch

[SET COMMENTS]
With Choice Specs Raging Bolt becomes a terrifying wallbreaker, capable of chunking even bulkier opposing Pokemon to blow holes in the opponent's team. The additional power also enables Raging Bolt to upgrade its pivoting and revenge killing capability to further pressure the opponent. Draco Meteor is the STAB move of choice, making progress on even the most specially defensive Pokemon such as Galarian Slowking, Clodsire, and Ting-Lu. The three electric moves cover most other situations well, with Thunderbolt being the strongest accurate STAB move available to hit targets like Hatterene, Corviknight, and Primarina as hard as possible. Thunderclap is used as powerful priority to revenge kill or force out faster threats such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Iron Valiant, and Enamorus. Thunderclap also helps Raging Bolt beat slower priority users such as Kingambit and Scizor. Volt Switch is used to help Raging Bolt maintain momentum for the team, racking up chip damage on defensive walls Raging Bolt cannot 2HKO like Blissey and Assault Vest Slowking-Galar. Many Ground-types in SV OU heavily fear Draco Meteor, such as Landorus-Therian and Great Tusk, so Raging Bolt can often click Volt Switch freely early game without worrying too much about an immunity stifling it. Usually, Raging Bolt wants to run the most speed possible without compromising on power in order to speed tie or outspeed opposing Raging Bolts, especially important with Thunderclap. However, if this is not a major concern, a spread of 200 HP / 252 SpA / 56 Spe is an option to hit 200 speed, just enough to outpace Adamant Kingambit, while increasing bulk to take resisted hits such as Ogerpon-Wellspring's Ivy Cudgel and Rillaboom's Grassy Glide better. Another idea is a spread of 92 HP / 252 SpA / 164 Spe to outspeed 0 speed Gliscor, giving Raging Bolt a better matchup into one of the few Ground-types that might dare to switch in. Fairy is the predominant Tera type of choice for this set, as it is a solid defensive type that is immune to fearsome incoming Dragon-type attacks such as Dragapult's Dragon Darts while also resisting Zamazenta's Body Press and Kingambit's Sucker Punch. However, Tera Dragon can be used to further intensify the power of Draco Meteor, while also removing the weakness to incoming Ground-type attacks such as Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and Dragonite's Earthquake.

Balanced and bulky offensive teams most appreciate the hole-punching power of Choice Specs Raging Bolt. Pokemon with pivoting moves such as Corviknight, Galarian Slowking, and Pecharunt make great teammates for this set, as they help to bring in Raging Bolt to start breaking apart the opponent's core. This set also often risks losing momentum as Raging Bolt gets locked into a move against an immunity or becomes non-threatening due to special attack drops from Draco Meteor, so it appreciates the defensive backbone these Pokemon can provide. Corviknight is a standout as it is immune to Ground-type attacks from the likes of Landorus-Therian and Great Tusk that check Raging Bolt, while Raging Bolt threatens Moltres and Zapdos which can annoy Corviknight. This Raging Bolt set can also heavily pressure specially defensive Pokemon on the opposing team such as Ting-Lu and Galarian Slowking, chunking them and greatly limiting their longevity. This chip damage can enable specially attacking teammates such as Gholdengo, Iron Moth, Darkrai, and Enamorus to sweep, and these teammates accumulating chip damage on specially defensive Pokemon can also help Raging Bolt to secure KO's in return. Teammates such as Ting-Lu, Garganacl, and Gliscor can enable Raging Bolt by setting hazards to further chip opposing Pokemon such as Ting-Lu, Ogerpon-Wellspring, and Garganacl in order to bring them into KO range. Ting-Lu and Garganacl also help by switching into Pokemon like Dragapult and Deoxys-Speed looking to revenge kill Raging Bolt. Removing hazards also greatly extends Raging Bolt's lifespan and allows for opportunities to aggressively switch it in to make progress, so teammates such as Hatterene, Great Tusk, and Galarian Weezing are appreciated for that purpose. Cinderace is a particularly noteworthy teammate, as it removes hazards on Raging Bolt's side of the field, puts them on the opponent's side, and can also perform timely pivots to bring Raging Bolt in. All moves on this set have immunities, so with good prediction, fairy-types and ground-types will completely shut down this set. Protect from Pokemon such as Gliscor, Garganacl, and Alomomola will ease predictions by forcing Raging Bolt to lock into a given move, allowing for more reliable counterplay. Teammates who can take advantage of the passive turn of Protect to enter the field such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Kyurem, and Primarina can ease these potentially troublesome matchups. These Pokemon are also excellent at handling Ground-types which may annoy Raging Bolt, and Ogerpon-Wellspring and Primarina can also run U-Turn and Flip Turn respectively to form a pivoting core that helps Raging Bolt enter the field. Other checks to these pokemon such as Hydrapple for Ogerpon-Wellspring and Toxapex for Primarina are also nicely pressured by Raging Bolt. Landorus-Therian can be a helpful teammate for many of the aforementioned reasons, as it handles Ground-types well, can put up Stealth Rock, can pivot with U-Turn, and can threaten out specially defensive checks to Raging Bolt such as Slowking-Galar and Clodsire, while Raging Bolt can threaten Pokemon that annoy Landorus-Therian such as Alomomola and Corviknight. Lastly, teammates such as Kingambit and Zamazenta can work with Raging Bolt to overwhelm shared checks such as Great Tusk and Landorus-Therian. For example, the threat of a late-game Kingambit sweep may greatly deter Great Tusk from switching into Raging Bolt, attempting to catch an Electric-type move. These Pokemon additionally threaten specially defensive pokemon such as Blissey and Slowking-Galar while Raging Bolt can take on Dondozo, Moltres, and Corviknight.

Please let me know once it is implemented and I can give it another look. Overall the content is good, its mostly missing details in explanations.

Raging Bolt @ Choice Specs
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
IVs: 20 Atk
Tera Type: Fairy / Dragon
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Thunderclap
- Volt Switch
- Draco Meteor

I am going to QC the content of the paragraph below. But please remember that the explanation of the moves should go in the order the moves are listed in the set. If you find it easier to rearrange the order of the moves in the set than in the text, then please do that, but make sure they match. Furthermore, they should be explained in different sentences so they are easier to read. That is "Thunderclap is used to... (AP) Volt Switch is used to...". Please make sure to apply this

The three electric moves cover most other situations well, with Thunderbolt being the strongest accurate STAB move available, Thunderclap being excellent for revenging threats such as Kingambit and Ogerpon-Wellspring, (Explain this in detail. First faster threats such as Ogerpon-W and X, then mention how you get the jump on other priority moves trying to revenge kill you such as Kingambit's Sucker Punch) and Volt Switch to maintain momentum against and abuse teams without a healthy ground type available. (Explain what do you mean by keeping momentum; here you can mention predicted switch-ins against Pokemon you might not 2HKO such as Assault Vest Galarian Slowking and Blissey. Rather than say "teams without a healthy Ground", mention how you can effectively do this thanks to Draco Meteor scaring the likes of Landorus-T and Great Tusk from switching in) Usually, Raging Bolt wants to run the most speed possible without compromising on power in order to speed tie or outspeed opposing Raging Bolts, especially important with Thunderclap. Consider mentioning a similar spread to outspeed Gliscor. Balanced and bulky offensive teams most appreciate the hole-punching power of Choice Specs Raging Bolt. Pokemon with pivoting moves such as Corviknight, Galarian Slowking, and Alomomola (I would remove it, not a very common partner. If you have to add another one I would add Pecharunt) make great teammates for this set, as they help to bring in Raging Bolt to start breaking apart the opponent's core. This set also often risks losing momentum as Raging Bolt gets locked into a move against an immunity or becomes non-threatening due to special attack drops from Draco Meteor, so it appreciates the defensive backbone these Pokemon can provide. (Make sure to mention what these Pokemon provide for Raging Bolt other than that. Notably Corviknight can safely switch in against the likes of Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Iron Treads that check Raging Bolt, while it appreciates Raging Bolt's ability to threaten Moltres and Zapdos) This set can also heavily pressure specially defensive Pokemon on the opposing team such as Ting-Lu and Galarian Slowking, chunking them and greatly limiting their longevity. This chip damage can enable specially attacking teammates such as Gholdengo, Iron Moth, Darkrai, and Enamorus to sweep, and these teammates accumulating chip damage on specially defensive Pokemon can also help Raging Bolt to secure KO's in return. Teammates such as Ting-Lu, Gliscor, and Landorus-Therian can enable Raging Bolt by setting hazards to further chip opposing Pokemon such as Ting-Lu, Ogerpon-Wellspring, and Garganacl in order to bring them into KO range. Here you could mention Ting-Lu's and Garganacl's ability to take on Dragapult looking to revenge kill Raging Bolt. Ting-Lu is the best generally splashable answer to Choice Specs Raging Bolt, as it can usually eat two full-powered Draco Meteors without too many hazards up. Hazards and other specially attacking teammates can wear Ting-Lu down and open up more opportunities for Raging Bolt to make progress. (You already hinted at this if not outright mentioned it above) All moves on this set have immunities, so with good prediction, fairy-types and ground-types will completely shut down this set. Protect from Pokemon such as Gliscor, Garganacl, and Alomomola will ease predictions by forcing Raging Bolt to lock into a given move, allowing for more reliable counterplay. Teammates who can take advantage of the passive turn of Protect to enter the field such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Kyurem, and Primarina (I would expand way more on these Pokemon. They can also deal with all the Ground-types that may trouble Raging Bolt, with Ogerpon-W and Primarina also being able to form pivoting cores due to U-turn and Flip Turn respectively. Moreover, Ogerpon-W appreciates Raging Bolt' ability to threaten the likes of Zapdos and Pecharunt, while Primarina likes Raging Bolt's good matchup into Ogerpon-W and Rillaboom) can ease these potentially troublesome matchups. Lastly, though they are rare in SV OU, Pokemon with Electric immunities through their abilities such as Thundurus-Therian and Jolteon can use Tera Fairy to completely blank this Raging Bolt set, so ground-type or steel-type Pokemon such as Iron Treads that can pressure these may be appreciated for this unusual circumstance. (I dont think they are relevant for the aim of an analysis, I would remove them)

- Landorus-T could be another pivot that forms a good VoltTurn core with Raging Bolt, and appreciates the latters ability to take on Corviknight, Zapdos, Alomomola, and Dondozo, while it scares out special walls like Galarian Slowking, Blissey, and Clodsire.
- Kingambit can, alongside Raging Bolt, overwhelm shared checks such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk, with its presence notably detering them from switching into Draco Meteor. Furthermore, it deals with Galarian Slowking, Clodsire, and Blissey, while Raging Bolt takes on Corviknight, Moltres, and Dondozo.

Great edit, QC 1/2 after implemented. If you want to work on smth else before the next QC check, you can try to cut down on names like Landorus-Therian -> Landorus-T and Ogerpon-Wellspring -> Ogerpon-W, but take those steps when you feel its adequate. Ty!

I disagree on Meowscarada being an add there. Most Meowscarada (~76% last month) are choiced, and bringing in a choiced mon on something clicking Protect is just going to end up getting it choice locked. I also don't love having 2 choiced pokemon on a team, it's somewhat doable but can really lead to awkward sequences.

Added an additional sentence in that section detailing additional synergy between Ogerpon-W/Primarina and Raging Bolt.

You can leave it out if you want, I get its a weird add the way you have it written since Meow would not exactly take advantage from coming onto the field on a Protect turn cause they can just Protect again. They are defo a common pairing though (Raging Bolt 30.407% at Meow partners), but I get this can include other Bolt sets. If you dont want to add it thats fine

Ah, adding Meow was more of a general idea - got it. I added another sentence near the end of the second paragraph detailing other offensive pivots that are resist or are immune to ground to mention it.
